  1. I agree! Considering its past, I would assume it would be City with the focus being on leisure.
  2. That's why I don't approve of the lead designer for City sets because he has no experience with buildings. He only has experience making cars; he's the former lead designer for Speed Champions.
  3. Yooooo! That's amazing! Why didn't I ever think to do something like this for TV 6+? I love how despite it being small in size, it still captures lots of details such as the broadcasting room, channel control and the kids corner.
  4. Well, we've gotta understand that this is the former head designer for Speed Champions that is in charge of City now. So that's why we won't see a lot of animals or a lot of buildings for that matter. Its mostly vehicles that look more like buildable Hotwheels cars than Lego vehicles.
  5. At this point, I've given up on seeing a bendy bus or a post office in the City theme. I think we just need to come to grips that this isn't 2006 to 2023 anymore when there was a chance of seeing anything good.
  6. A lot of these are so easy to pass up that its not funny.
  7. I'm setting low standards like I did the previous waves. Though this year's wave surprised me with the hot rod and taxi cab.
  8. Along with a repair bay and a car wash.
  9. Now that would be something I'd be down for. I would also recommend a wave centered around Octan to celebrate its 35th birthday in 2027.
  10. I wish Speed Champions would make a Subaru model. Other mainstream Japanese brands are represented in the Speed Champions line. Not Subaru though.
  11. Bendy bus anyone? I wouldn't mind seeing a standalone school bus either.
  12. Imagine that being on the back of one of the instruction booklets from the late 2000s.
  13. This bus garage looks amazing! Now this is something that fits in any Lego transit system.
  14. I'm straight out of the 90s. Born in 1992.
  15. How did he get his hands on those trains? Those are not supposed to come until June (August for the US). Yeah! Love the push-along play on those.
  16. Now that's something I can get behind. Still not a fan of the Speed Champions treatment for City vehicles.
  17. So after having a good look at the trains released this year, I think I'm one of the very few to say that I actually am impressed with the way Lego is releasing newer trains now. They come as push-along vehicles by default, but this can be changed with Power Functions. I actually don't mind the push-along play trend as it offers more playability. The set that I plan on getting for my town is that steam train that is supposed to come stateside in August.
  18. That's right and I'm upset. How come its always the good sets that we've gotta wait for? Its like Lego is deliberately doing this and trying to get under our skin. They use holiday season as an excuse, as if other countries don't celebrate Christmas.
  19. Ouch! Put this in a town and it'll turn heads. Great job on the details, especially the rear window. You got that thing perfect, even though you weren't striving for perfection.
  20. My mind is still on that steam engine though. I plan to buy that one on release day.
  21. I saw! I'm disappointed in the new pizza set. But I adore that steam engine though as it reminds me of the old My Own Train sets. The car wash looks pretty good too.
