This line evokes raw energy of pure loss only matched by teenagers captioning instagram posts with quotes from Joker. (It seriously is very funny there's just something about the cadence of the sentence that reminds me of it, I don't know what.) I would not rule out whatever suit/marketing person writing this not realizing that the mech set is comic based, if it is. They're certainly more likely, but I wouldn't say confirmed just yet.

I would march on denmark with a legion of ewoks if they remade MBS cloud city before doing an endor bunker/ewok village MBS. What would you even want from a new cloud city? I don't think they'd be able to pull off a "shell" to give it an exterior. As it is written. Unless you're hanging out with a lot of teens/children in a job or situation where you frequently interact with kids/teens, such as a teacher, this is also very true of your opinion on the sequels. Even though many who grew up with the sequels are around social media using age, think about what happens when someone posts that they liked the sequel movies here, on a more "civilized" forum, and then think about what a 14 year old would get for posting that on instagram when the legions of clone bros find the post. Edit: That didn't come out right. -
This is a Grand Admiral Thrawn level investigation, I applaud you. I think your conclusion is the only one that makes sense- it has to be true. The obvious next steps are to infiltrate the lego house and find the supply line of the dummy figures to locate their origin point. And there's another universe where lego marvel's summer 2023 wave consisted of three spider-man vs venom sets based on the 2007 movie.

I really, really would like a lego set of Black One from TFA. The 2015 set got me into collecting lego star wars specifically, and we have plenty of new parts and more complicated techniques. I don't think including minifigure(s) would automatically fix the subline, but I certainly don't think it would hurt to include the pilot. I agree, I just don't think the shuttle is a good one to do midi-scale. It might just be me, but I always thought of this subline as something more for fleets than shuttles or starfighters. Something like If it's not for an upcoming project, I don't think Disney would tell lego to make a specific vehicle. Nothing in it for them. -
Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

It might just have been speculation from someone here, but I thought a designer or someone said they couldn't put Mary Jane in the bugle because the MCU version was on shelves and it would confuse people? Now that's faulty reasoning if true given we CONSTANTLY have MCU and comic versions of the same character on shelves at the same time, but whatever. -
"Wow, this set features a set of characters lego hasn't done yet, this is awesome!" "Wow, this set features the second most popular DC character, who we haven't had in 6 years, this is awesome!" Imagine a world where we're all excited for the new Teen Titans set based on their upcoming film, and the multiverse of madness in the marvel thread is losing their minds over the fact that after 5 years they're getting a set that isn't about spider-man. I'm way more interested in this than I should be, I need to know. Are there any differences in the prints? That's their mistake for believing lego DC sets exist.

Honestly, I feel like Eli Vanto never really was a bad guy or did anything bad- he pretty much only fought pirates and criminals. His heart was bringing him closer and closer to being at odds with the empire, like when he realized the empire likely had slaves, and I maintain it's one of the reasons Thrawn did what he did with him. It helps the Chiss, sure, but it also takes Eli out of the position to leave the empire in such a manner that Thrawn would be compelled to harm him. To be fair, that guy was ot a character we were ever shown the point of view of or someone we're supposed to relate to/understand, and I also would not be surprised in the least if at least one world power wasn't actively doing something extremely similar to this. Compared to some of the real-world torture methods people had centuries ago, "drive someone insane with death noises" is actually kinda tame. The massive whiplash of going through all those points on logical fallacies/combativeness and then whirling around to @THELEGOBATMAN to tell him it's probably a good idea to stop Dedraposting was an insane twist. Missed this leak- this is going to shelfwarm like crazy and I hope it's made of DBG so I can grab it at large discount to use as a parts pack. (This isn't a "Sequel bad" thing, it's just an absurd choice for a midi to me. It's not that large or iconic of a vehicle, and it doesn't really fit the fleet stuff they've been doing. Why not the dreadnaught with the giant cannons? Or even just a resurgent-class- I know it'd be similar to the executor and acclamator in "mostly LBG triangle", but I feel like since this is aimed at SW fleet collectors they're gonna be fine with having grey triangle repeats.) -

We already knew there was no January BP- I don't think the other recent leaks we didn't already know about, like Plo's fighter or Slave 1, are scheduled for then either. I might have been wrong about the leak but I assumed it was for June, like I'd said. What's really funny to me is that there's a really solid chance Andor S2 does feature scenes in which Syril and Dedra are acting all lovey-dovey with eachother while... preforming their jobs, which would be a really dark dichotomy and also in-character with Andor's interest in showing that all these people are, well, people. They can be monstrous in many ways but still have human capacity for love. -

There's still hope for a thunderbolts set then if that "Only one new MCU movie set in 2025" thing was true. -
I would like to take this moment to clarify my enjoyment of Mara Jade as a character is completely platonic. (Good luck fighting Luke though CloneCommando) I can feel it radiating with power through the screen. I think if a non-acolyte of the Dummy tried to wear it, they'd combust on the spot due to being unable to handle the flow of unlimited potential. So our 2025 arc is "the aslume members launch a raid on denmark".

That leaker doesn't see color. Or hair. Or number of eyes. (Or they saw a black coat torso piece in the instruction/part list and just completely guessed) Also if they're bursting out of the logo, is Bruce just some guy going flying through a wall? -

No. Producer Lorenzo DiBoventura (I think I spelled that wrong) claims it's "3 billion years" or something stupid like that before the live action stuff, but he also claims the Micheal Bay movies are in the same universe as Bumblebee and ROTB, which they objectively can't be. (The autobots arrive on earth for the first time in bumblebee in 1987, meaning they can't in the first Bay movie in 2007, Unicron is, well, Unicron in ROTB meaning he can't be earth in the Bay movies, and a number of smaller things.) Transformers one objectively cannot be the same universe as the micheal bay movies- the lore of the One universe is completely different from the lore in the Bay universe, and there are other more spoilery things. TLDR: It's a new universe/continuity not connected to anything else. It's also REALLY GOOD. I know the trailers make it seem overly comedic and kiddie, but it's never as jokey as the trailers make it out to be, and at a certain point in the movie things get serious and remain so for pretty much the rest of the movie. -

I apologize. She sure will, and then you two can eat all the cereal you want while listening to the imperial news networks before she leaves for work. This is a deeply upsetting tragedy. Especially because since we know a fair number of the june sets now, it's possible we just don't have a BP coming. (Unless prices leaked and I missed that?) And cereal. I like that this is just certified @THELEGOBATMAN lore now. You should add "Dedra's Husband " to your signature. Holy cow dude let the poor man dream in peace! Exactly. Syril, with the information/indoctrination he's living in, has mainly just been doing his job and trying to stop someone he thinks is a murderer (I mean, I guess Andor really is a murderer, and killing the second guy was pretty dark even with him being corrupt, but you get the point). Dedra's going around torturing people and knows full well what the empire is. (Look I'm not judging what THELEGOBATMAN's into ok?) He allegedly is, but he also pilots one in Rogue One, so it's not much of a stretch anyway. -

Go eat your cereal, man. She's not gonna date you just because you both hate Cassian. I don't think we know yet. We CANNOT start this I have to imagine it's why he's in this instead of the Peridea set. I don't care if he has dual-molded arms and legs with printing on every possible face, -

YES. Preferably one of the decepticon "Big Three", but who am I kidding, I'll buy anything G1, evergreen, One, etc. I'm normally not a big "buildable object" guy but I really, really want to see lego do an 18+ Matrix of Leadership. It just got a big recognition bump from one... assuming anyone else goes and watches it . It's really good guys, I swear, it's really good, please don't let the live action stuff dissuade you from seeing this. Depends on whether or not Absolute Batman can throw him. -
Matpat-> green -> green lantern? Matpat was in theatre-> artist -> KYLE RAYNER? In all seriousness it's because heroes sell better than villains in most situations. Look at the makeup of basically any theme. Star Wars (although that one might actually be a little more balanced compared to the rest). Marvel. Batman. notoriously, Ninjago. Harry Potter, although that feels like cheating because the main setting of the entire franchise is a "hero" building. You heard it here first, in this totally unaltered post, guys. Demo Dummy Mech January 2025. ICON MENTIONED, can we get him in the next CMF? haha... as if we'd get another CMF. I saw that $50 Man vs Jonkler 3-pack at walmart today and I'm really tempted to get it, because that's great value for $87 of sets (even if it should be like $65 of sets), and I don't have a batwing or non-tumbler batmobile, but I know I'll regret endorsing this jonkling.

Changing the name wouldn't ruin his characterization, but what you said was "it didn't tell us anything about the character we didn't already know", when the story where Slave One gets it's name- and him naming the ship itself tells us a LOT about jango. But moreso to the point- I don't get why the onus is on proving why the name shouldn't be changed rather than why they should change it in the first place. If someone comes out and goes "we need to rename stormtroopers because the nazis had troops named stormtroopers", is it now on everyone to prove why the name stormtrooper gives meaning to the unit? I'm getting off topic, so this'll be my last post on it until/unless we hear more on it, but the last I'll say is that this is a UCS set, not a 4+ set. Accuracy is given more importance, the name is actually part of the physical product due to the plaque, and while lego is still a family brand, this is a set aimed at adults. (And also we have stormtroopers and death troopers and many other names regarding bad things) Given that even in 2024 I doubt lego fails to put Plo in Plo's fighter, I'm taking this as a win. Found Syril's account. Yeah, obviously the color was based on Clone Wars and not the movies, but there's no source where that head shaping is accurate. I misunderstood- I thought you meant literally that lego could re-use a print, rather than just that it'd be similar to an older existing one. Though regardless, it'll be nice to get a female print for the ISB style uniform. THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! THRAWN! "This could have been a 224th mudjumpers battle pack!" (But no, I suspect most clone bros will just be commenting how terrible it is that Enoch is in the set) I think this one is reasonable- especially given Enoch was rumored for the Peridea set, it seems like they weren't able to allocate a new mold budget for him in 2024 and shifted him to this instead. Still not great to have a named character in the BP, but a lot more understandable than something like the jedi and clone troopers pack. -

That is concerning, especially since it's a team up movie. But so long as we get John, Yelena, and Ghost, I'll be happy. Buildable Galactus with a microfig of Julia Garner's Silver Surfer, take it or leave it. First Doom, first Defenders, first comic character with Nova, that show being able to use wider parts of the marvel lore was a great thing for early lego marvel. -

Man this is quite possibly the worst ship to choose for "the name doesn't tell us anything about the character" - there was a whole story behind the name that tells us a hell of a lot about Jango and who he was. Also, I've never got this "why do you guys care that it's being changed" - why would they care enough to change it in the first place? Never more than twelve (system sets in a year now) I hope Plo gets a new mold- it's been long enough it'd probably count as a new one even if they just recreated it, though I'm not sure if being rubber changes anything. -

RIP nightcrawler, he's being blasted with the god of all ice spikes while Jean, Rogue, and Gambit sip their starbucks. x-men calander would be cool (haha, ice) but I doubt lego's confident enough to give it an advent calendar already. I know D2Cs are more expensive, but they're also aimed at the nostalgic adult market, whereas the advents are usually more aimed at kids. -
