  1. Dang, I just thought that was going to be some EP l micros and them BAM you've got the rest in subsequent spoilers, like those russian nesting dolls . Very happy that was the case though, these are all great ideas! @ArrowBricks those are all good sets too, especially the battle with the sheild generator, I honestly can't believe it doesn't have a set yet (excluding assault on hoth's super inaccurate design, of course). I'm in the mood to draft another list, so I'll head on to return of the jedi. I'm gonna make it a pretty big wave and add in those microfighter double-packs, as well as a UCS: Microfighters: A-wing($9.99): A-wing pilot At-st($9.99): At-st Pilot Home one vs super star destroyer ($19.99): Ackbar and Piett Battle Packs: Endor Rebels ($14.99): 2x rebel commandos (green coat with bandoliar), Rebel commando (tan vest), Ewok. Build is a tree for the ewok to shoot from Endor troopers ($14.99): 2x stormtroopers, scout trooper, navy trooper. build is a speeder bike and some terrain Duel: Final Duel ($24.99): palpatine's throne with some stairs and a suggestion of a shaft to throw palpatine into. Comes with Vader, Luke, and The Senate $20-30 location set: Jabba's palace rescue ($29.99): Leia (Boush), Carbonite han, Nikto Guard. Other sets: Speeder Bikes ($19.99): two speeder bikes and a tree, comes with Luke and 2 scout troopers B-wing ($79.99): B-wing with stand, B-wing Pilot, Ten Numb, Crix Madine, and a Stormtrooper. TIE interceptor ($69.99): TIE interceptor with TIE pilot, Navy Trooper, Imperial officer, and a Rebel commando Endor Bunker ($109.99): Endor Bunker build with Han, Leia, Rex, 1 rebel commando, 2 scout troopers, a stormtrooper, and 2 fleet troopers. UCS/MBS: The Khetanna ($349.99): Jabba's barge with Jabba, Bib Fortuna, salacious Crumb, 2 Nikto Guards, Ree-yes, max Rebo, Klatoonian Guard, Lando, Han, Luke, R2-D2, Huttslayer Leia, C-3PO and Boba Fett.
  2. There was some speculation it would only have the last 2 knights and rey, but that was never confirmed by anyone as far as I remember. I would hope so. They've got to do something to justify a $15 increase with only a few more parts.
  3. We can agree on that at least. We may have different reasons as to why we don't want the sets, but we both won't be buying most of them. Doctor Strange isn't as associated with the avengers in the comics, although he recently joined the newest incarnation, but I'm as surprised as you are about ant-man. Especially since unlike Hawkeye, Black Panther, Nick Fury, captain marvel, and Falcon, we know he's going to be in the game. I believe @Falconfan1414 said 4 figures, but be sure to correct me if I'm wrong. I'd say that gets us 2 new suits, and either Tony and Stane or Game iron man and an AIM agent. (Should we just call "game iron man"/"square enix iron man" the Enix Suit?)
  4. Same here, except without the harry potter. It's a great minifigure pack, and I'm surprised they put such a detailed black widow in this as usually they'd use it as a draw to the helicarrier set. The thing is Lego doesn't dictate that. (although I agree, endgame sets would be better)
  5. not to turn this completely into a discussion about lepin, but the reason people dislike lepin is precisely because they don't care about the model or creative building. They blatantly rip off designs both by lego itself and lego fan's MOCs. It is a lego forum, so the brandname is part of it, but it's moreso Lepin's blatent theft from the lego company and fan designers.
  6. I mean, like you said we got 501st troopers, but we also got 212th troopers, and even 327th troopers back when they used the old helmet mold. Order 66 really isn't much darker than other stuff they've done, and while I don't think they'll have a "anakin kills the younglings" set, I don't think that's why we're not getting those troops. I mean, cody's not the only guy betray and attempt to kill obi-wan, and we got sith anakin in a set. (heck, we got extra crispy anakin too) Seeing as it's looking like all we get for ESB's 40th is the AT-AT and helmets (which are great BTW), I'll make an ESB wave, as we did the january 2021 wave. Microfighters: Millenium falcon ($9.99): comes with Han Solo (ESB) Slave one ($9.99): comes with Boba Fett Battle packs: Blizzard force battle pack ($14.99): 2 snowtroopers, officer in veers-type armor, snowtrooper commander. Build is a speeder bike and some terrain. Hoth rebels battle pack ($14.99): 2 hoth rebel troopers, hoth rebel officer, general reikan. Build is some terrain with a P-tower Duel: Bespin Duel ($19.99): Bespin Luke and Vader, build is the area of the "No, I am your father" scene. $30ish location set: Battle of Hoth ($34.99): terrain with df-9 turret, e-web, and tauntan. Comes with a probe droid, 2 rebel troopers, and 2 snowtroopers. other sets: Dagobah Training ($99.99): Luke's x-wing with foliage and yoda's hut like in 2004. Comes with Luke (dagobah training), Yoda, and R2-D2. (I believe someone else had this idea earlier) TIE bomber ($89.99): TIE bomber with bomb-drop feature similar to those of the republic cruiser and frigate. Comes with TIE pilot, Stormtrooper, Vader, and an imperial officer. The Millenium Falcon ($169.99): ESB falcon with Hoth Leia, ESB han, Chewbacca, c-3PO, Lando, and Boba Fett. Also has 2 buildable mynocks like the UCS falcon.
  7. I mean, some of the comic sets have pretty bad builds, but they're children's toys, and random vehicles are a lot more exciting to kids than most stuff that's comic or movie accurate we haven't gotten yet. I think that's where most negativity here comes from, people forget these are made for kids and not us. Mandalorian got 1 set alongside release and will have a total of 5 by the end of 2020. Like you say, star wars is a whole different beast though, and I think the addition of "the child" not having merchandise at first to avoid spoilers might be why we're getting so many mandalorian sets. FatWS might get a set, but I doubt it'll be anytime soon. For me they're hard to find at physical stores, I can only ever find microbuilds of kylo ren's shuttle, but like you said there's always bricklink, and usually the prices aren't too bad if it's still in stores somewhere.
  8. There's a single instagram post by someone who doesn't seem to have any other original information, just reposts of reveals and leaks. I think It'll still be $40
  9. Honestly it's such a small different that I think it's fine. Like the guy says, droidikas are tough at this scale. Personally i think this is by far the best anyone's done yet.
  10. Lots of times the view ratio is much higher than the reply ratio, but I'm gonna have to go with @Rubblemaker on this one, you're using fake lego.
  11. To add to what @Guyon2002 says, I think the specific rumor they debunked was a remake of 2005's death star 2. I might not get any if it's just a recolor of the 2015 one. I've got a pretty good purist S7 ahsoka, so unless it's got maul and/or rex, it won't be that interesting. That MOC up you made looks great! I agree that they'll probably use the smaller slopes with it. I could see that with a STAP, some droids, and Ahsoka being this upcoming tank.
  12. Yeah, there's some valid criticism to be had of the line, but some people keep forgetting the sets are for kids and get really negative. Personally, I still think it'll be game iron man, an aim agent, and 2 MCU armors, and I'm fine with that. Ah. that makes sense. They do a good job representing his wings, kind of reminds me of a teched-up version of his costume back when he was captain america's sidekick and could talk to falcons. This minifigure pack is the first marvel set of the year I'll buy besides the iron man mech (I didn't realize the figure would be so repeated). I don't have any AIM agents yet and they have lots of nice gunmetal grey parts, black widow looks great and is super detailed, and Falcon is a cool exclusive for the set.
  13. What does it being a hall of armor expansion have to do with a new villian? I mean, stane's possible but unless you mean that I don't see any correlation, the last one just had some outriders. Also, it could likely have 3 armors, but I'm guessing it'll be the Game armor as one with 2 new armors.
  14. I could totally see this. True, or maybe something like what @Gjm-greeny suggests above.
  15. Looks really good, I like the rain effect. Also, we need to get that use of the gonk droid as a grill canonized immediately.
  16. it is a delicate situation as far as merchandising that costume goes, but as @UberCorp says they sort of rebranded slave leia as "huttslayer" leia, which I had forgotten about, so it is possible. Probably not something we'll see this year though, so I'll stop talking about it. We're halfway through may, hopefully at least description of the remaining sets come out soon. I feel like the AAT's got to have a side build or a fair number of figures, they can't just recolor it and go from $25 to $40
  17. It's probably propeller mario, though P-balloon mario would be hilarious
  18. @Ashnflash has a good video on how bad of a move it was on their part. Those monkey kid sets have so much effort put into them, but they're pricey as heck. I would say marvel's the antithesis of that, but the prices aren't good for marvel sets either. Good to hear confirmation. I could see it going 2 ways: Game iron man, aim agent, 2 armors. Tony Stark, Obidiah Stane, 2 armors. Honestly as long as we get 1 or 2 new suits I'll be happy.
  19. Hey, you're right! I remember that rumor. Wouldn't expect anything though, the inclusion of the hot rod and maybe an early armor or 2 would be enough to loosly base it off the movie, even if Game Iron Man and an AIM agent show up. I was going to point out stane has a beard, but so does happy hogan and we all saw what his figure was :/ looking at the comic hulkbusters, I could totally see the 6x6 working for some of the earlier ones. Of course, those designs themselves look ridiculous, but then again we're talking about a guy who built a flying robot suit in a cave from a box of scraps.
  20. I agree, unfortunately this is the most likely outcome. except this time, given battlefront 2's OT supremacy balancing (or lack thereof), the 2 stormies would have a fighting chance . 2 stormtroopers, a TIE pilot and a midi-scale tie, and it "recreates the action of RO, ANH, AND battlefront 2". You could even give the pilot Iden's face, since canonically she's the only regular TIE pilot to survive. Given the strange controversies over some people who probably wouldn't buy the set anyway deciding that A: slave leia bad and B: something about jabba's palace being derogatory, I forget what exactly, lego may unfortunately have shelved jabba sets for awhile. Yes, this would be amazing! You could do the whole main endor crew, some ewoks, Rex, another commando or two, and then all the different imperial soldiers there. Add in another AT-ST, speeders, maybe some trees, and you've got a pretty solid MBS.
  21. True, I mean, with the hot rod and stuff it's probably more of an MCU set, even if they throw in aim agents or something, but yeah i'd expect one or 2 MCU armors at least. The only "comic" armor we've ever gotten is the one in the detroit steel strikes set, I'd say it'll probably just be MCU armors and maybe his game suit.
  22. Even better. That would sell pretty well IMO. It could have a hanger with x and y wings in the scale of slave one from bespin, as well as all the rooms from the movies. Surely the throne room is more iconic than "random bespin hallway where c-3po is shot" Ironically, both that and Pentaki had prototypes created at some point.
  23. Good balance of all trilogies, and has CW, Mando, and Endor, which are the three things I think are most likely to show up next year. *plays kloo horn aggressively* We need a D2C cantina, that way we can get all the major patrons. Like a $200 large playset with all the major characters. Or like a city people pack type of thing, I assume the same legal principles keeping the builds in the battlepack stop this type of set from being made, but it would be pretty cool.
  24. Like @jdubbs said, people hated that new rebel helmet. We don't know if they'll do the same thing with stormtroopers yet, but I agree with you that they should (partially because I've got 20-something stormtroopers with the old helmet design) "Hi, I'd like to apply for a job at lego. I have no intention of doing my job, but I really want to leak information out." - future lead designer of the star wars theme
  25. I could see Pentaki, but not for a few years. I think if the gunship sells well, large prequel sets are more likely. You might be on to something though, a new large playset would make sense especially with the death star retiring. I'm hoping it's not just another DS1 remake, but something like a big endor bunker with an AT-ST and ewok stuff could be cool.
