  1. This part would work well too, but I doubt they have the mold still. Either way, I still don't think LEGO themselves would see it as requiring a new mold, they could do it, but I doubt they view it as required. As for todo, of course they have an "excuse" not to omit them. It's not like every lego set is required to come with the ship's full crew, and Todo needing a new mold just makes it less likely he'll be included. It's not like I don't want these, but I don't think it's logical to act like these are a bare minimum, required for the set, or like lego has "no excuse" not to include them.
  2. I don't think Todo and a new hat are a minimum requirement in lego's eyes at all. First off, there are multiple existing cowboy hat type pieces that work for Bane's hat just fine. It's not like the CW version where he needs an extra wide brim. Todo is more likely to me, but I still don't think he's a requirement. We did have stuff like D-0 in the falcon, Grogu in the Razor crest, etc, but those were all figures that appeared in multiple sets, and I can't see todo getting multiple sets. I think it's a 50/50 on todo, and I doubt we'll see a new bane hat unless they've destroyed the molds for the old cowboy hats, but I guess it's always possible. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. The Dagobah set better have the full x-wing if that's the case. These aren't random nobodies, or even instagram leakers who've been getting some things wrong recently. These are probably the two most reliable leak sources we have, who, as far as I know, never said they had evidence of Jango Slave 1 or the gunship. It's also, just... a dumb choice to represent BB. Bane doesn't have much wider appeal, even with TBoBF (I could understand it a bit better if his ship showed up in TBoBF too, but just him, in a different outfit), and he really wasn't a major part of BB. You could do cheaper, "safer" sets like a $30 V-wing or even a $120 Nu-class shuttle. Doesn't make sense to me.
  3. That first point makes sense, but what new molds do you think the justifier has? I mean, it's possible we get todo, but I don't think we've seen any rumors about the figures or new molds for that set. I totally see that being a possibility. The duel is being hyped up by lucasfilm as the "rematch of the century", and the main draw of the show. I wouldn't be surprised if a large amount of the merchandise was based on this duel. I think the only show-specific merchandise we have seen or heard the contents of so far is of kenobi and vader (rumored obi-wan v vader brickheads, the toy lightsabers that leaked awhile ago), so I'd be surprised if neither set focused on this.
  4. I made an AT-TE moc a week or two ago that was around 1200-1300 parts and around the same size as the 2013 one, so it's definately possible. Glad to see multiple kenobi sets and the possible andor set. AT-TE is nice to see as well.
  5. This makes me think it may have been a mistake. Also, 1082 pieces and $140 for an AT-TE that's supposed to look like the 2013 version just doesn't make sense to me.
  6. "I'd heard there was a secret chord, That David played and it pleased the Lord, But you don't really care for music, do you?...." There's still Hope for the Snyderverse! Grace Randolph's become a lot more reliable in the past year or so, and given the discovery stuff and all the delays, I think there's a chance. A small one, but a chance nonetheless. No. Eternals, aside from being a flop in and of itself, wouldn't really impact their DC decisions, I think. Marvel's other sets have sold fine, and I think lego is able to understand that the sets sold poorly due to the film itself doing poorly. The past decade of DC movies might not all be critically acclaimed, but they usually make good money, and that's what lego's looking for.
  7. I'm not a huge DC fan, but here are the couple of sets I'd want: UCS Wayne Manor/Batcave (Nolan Trilogy) ($499.99): Just a massive Wayne Manor and batcave from the nolan trilogy, complete with Bat-pod and Tumbler. Comes with Bruce Wayne, both Nolan Batsuits, Alfred Pennyworth, Racheal, Jim Gordan, Lucius Fox, Blake, Harvey Dent, Harvey Bullock, Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow, Joker, Two-Face, Carmine Falcone, Sal Maroni, Catwoman, and Bane. 18+ Justice League display ($39.99-89.99): That shot of the League in the Snyder cut looking through the portal at Darkseid. Essentially just a nice display piece to get the League from that film. Maybe make it a larger diarama and include Steppenwolf and some Parademons. The Dark Knight Icons ($129.99): Brick-built Nolan Trilogy Cowl, Batarang, scarred coin, and joker card.
  8. Here's my thought process on the candidates: 1. Death star: I think it's either this or the next one on the list. The last one just retired, it's an immensely popular set that's had a remake already, and the $530 price makes sense for a re-release of a previously $500 set due to inflation (If we assume lego hasn't taken the absurd US inflation of the last year into account for the set's price yet, in which case it would be over $600 if I'm doing the calculations correctly) 2. Endor: This just seems very likely. Super iconic location that hasn't really been represented since 2009 (bunker) and 2013 (ewok village). I could totally see a combination of this (Bunker with giant trees on either side containing the village at the top) selling for $530, too. 3. Yavin. It's pretty well-known, if not quite as much as hoth or endor, and there are a variety of things you can do to liven it up (midi-scale fighters, the temple build itself could be pretty cool if done vertically.) Take into account the iconic scenes (pilot briefing room, the control room leia is in during the trench run, the throne room, the hanger, etc), and I could see lego deciding it's worth it to produce. I would have put Jabba's above this if not for the Boba sets. We've had UCS sets release after system versions before (Literally last year in fact with the AT-AT), but I still think they'll wait, so we don't have 2 tatooine MBS consecutively (with mos eisley in 2020). 4. Jabba's palace/sail barge. It's very well known, has a LOT of different rooms and a nice exterior design, and say it's a 3000 pc palace and a 2000 pc sail barge, that gets you to $530 and does sort of the whole jabba experience. The 18+ price point is also confirmed to let them get away with a bit more (such as my bois Frank and Matt in the 18+ daily bugle set), so it gets around any hesitation about certain characters. (I think we all know who I'm talking about....Joe Camel is pretty controversial for his cigarette stance but integral to the palace scenes ) 5. Geonosis areana. Don't get me wrong. If the gunship sold well enough (And I think it sold about average for a UCS set from what little I have seen, so I think lego would consider it sucessful enough to continue prequel 18+), we'll definately see this, an Actis, and a Venator within the next decade. But I don't think enough time has passed since the gunship for this to be released. Even if they judged only the sales in the few months between it's release and the leak of that $530 price point, I think they'd have to have a model at least in partial development to get it out within a year of the gunship releasing. But of course, we're all missing the most obvious options: MBS Canto Bight, MBS Gungan City, and MBS special edition changed mos eisley cantina (The 2020 set but half the bricks are CGI, the han figure doesn't have a blaster, and there's a sound brick that says "MacClunkey" at a 150db volume whenever you enter a 10ft radius of it)
  9. Thank you so much! The AT-TE was a beast to make, I'll be sure to update this thread once I have the physical model built. The ball joints on the B-wing were definately not the best solution, but...yeah there's no but, I can already think of a better way. Welp, I have to update the model anyway given the physical build ended up being a little different. The x-wing's reference to the 1999 design was completely intentional, I actually had that next to me while making it for sizing reasons. Your username makes me a little concerned (I'm sure it's a joke), but I thank you nonetheless!
  10. I'll third this. Incredible design, remarkable structure and details and the power functions thing is awesome, but I don't think really anyone would want to buy this except for the guy who designed the ship itself if it's just a fan design. Even mando fans are more likely to just buy a UCS Razor crest, UCS mandalorian fighter, etc. Especially for $50... seems worth it in terms of size and overall quality, but I don't think there's any demand for this.
  11. Ah, sorry. I've said before that it must be hard to be a leaker when people take everything you say as a clue, and here I'm guilty of that myself! Wait...cigar...UCS CAD BANE? I think we shouldn't even discuss this guy, he's clearly just a troll account that wants attention. His leaks don't even make sense.
  12. ...every time lego released a fallen order set this year, you'd be rich? Jokes aside, this is a lot more vague than your usual clues. Anyone got an idea?
  13. Welp, I just spent way too much on BL parts for my AT-TE. (image in spoiler)
  14. Thanks for making me realize that 80% of the disney era SW I love includes the inquisitors. Such a cool workaround to the rule of 2, giving us lightsaber fights and force-wielding villains our heros have the potential to kill while still allowing vader to be absolutely terrifying and dominate the main heroes of whatever story he finds himself in. (Vader curbstomping literally everyone in rebels is what really turned me around on rebels.) I honestly wonder if we do see Joel Edgerton's Owen in a set this summer. I'm fairly confident we get that inquisitor ship, and it feels like it'd be big enough to get 5+ figures. Obviously Kenobi, Reva, and the Grand inquisitor would show up, but since there aren't many other heroes in this show (at least, not ones they want to reveal or market), I think Owen's got a real chance. Good news indeed, it's such a dumb concept.
  15. He's 100% a fake leaker that got bored after a few (admittedly skilled) attempts at leaks and after he got called out by promobricks, just decided to use his new increase in followers to make a meme account. Looks like some confidential images are leaking (ninjago and a pretty cool viking ship from creator). I wonder if we'll be seeing some SW leaks soon, at least for the may sets?
  16. Sure, but I don't see those neck tendril things fitting into that helmet. In this specific instance you can look at the price guide and see that he was routinely selling for $100 plus before the trailer dropped. There are definately people who buy figures listed for cheap and resell them for more, but it wouldn't have happened universally within a few hours.
  17. The rpg/reference books get retconned pretty consistently and really shouldn't be considered canon (The dice are a pretty good example, as well as the encyclopedia from years before the whole "boba fett's starship" debacle calling slave one "clone one" multiple times) Yup, I totally missed her. Forth sister's armor is a plot point in one of the vader's castle comics. Now it's a comic, which has had a pretty major retcon, though only the one (the kanan comics got steamrolled by the bad batch premiere, with the time of day, his master's lightsaber color, the planet's look, clone legion's armor, his escape from the clones, etc all being retconned completely) You can look at the price guide, it's not because of the kenobi trailer. Figure prices tend to increase when demand increases, and people buy the cheaper ones, leading to price increases. It's not like every seller simultaneously updated their prices after watching the trailer. It is interesting, though she is also being called third sister. My guess is that Reva was her jedi name, like how sixth brother is Bin Valen or the blind one is Prosset Dibbs.
  18. Must have missed it, that's cool. I wonder if they'll use replacement numbers considering how many there are at this point and that a good chunk of the top 10 are already dead by the time of kenobi. I think the rumor for awhile was Grand, ingram, and 5th as the three main ones, and seeing as fifth gets a few solid shots in the trailer on multiple planetsI'm guessing he'll be seen more, whereas this lady might just be someone sitting in on the meeting who we don't even see leave Nur. Yeah, his head is probably my biggest worry about the show (which shows how much I like it already if my biggest issue is a guy's head), but you're right that it probably won't change his lego design. I don't think we'll see the helmet since that seemed to be his flight helmet and they seem to be using a bigger ship, not starfighters. Ah, megablocks, I sold one (I used to have 2, since I loved that TIE advanced set) a few years back for $20. Absurd that you can buy a 1000+ pc set new and sealed for twice the price of just one of the figures from it.
  19. Only moses ingram's character is new, the other one is Fifth Brother from rebels, who has a minifigure. If the molds still exist for the male inquisitor's armors and Fifth Brother's helmet I could see all three showing up. I haven't been this excited for SW since...maybe even force awakens. I loved mandalorian and fallen order (side note: I'm so happy Nur is back from that game, one of my favorite SW locations), but that wasn't really as much in the build up as actually playing/watching them and realizing how great they were.
  20. I think he means that the batfleck bike is in the flash movie.
  21. Yes, and my point was that being an animated series, lego isn't likely to think it as popular as something from the films. The daily bugle is spider-man based, and he's at least in the top 2 for most iconic superheroes, not to mention 2021 being a huge year for spider-man. I don't think we'll never get an x-mansion, indeed I think it'd be a popular choice, but I think it's more likely to come alongside the mcu reboot, or have them based on the comics characters. Even if it were to come out alongside x-men 97, it wouldn't be this summer's D2C, as I feel like we'd know X-men 97 was coming this summer if it was. This is not true. It was announced at disney+ day: November 12th, 2021, less than 4 months ago. Moon knight was announced years ago.
  22. Yeah, we're getting the inquisitor ship this summer... Seems like it'll be a major vehicle and there's no way they aren't making sets for this. As a side note, I couldn't stop screaming this entire trailer (Only in spoilers in case someone starts whining that I spoiled the trailer for them)
  23. The eternals sets sold incredibly poorly, man. I'm seeing some of them at literally 50% off at target, which is unheard of. Wouldn't be surprised if they are solely responsible for tanking the wave even if the rest of the stuff sold well. This is not only based on an animated series, which makes it somewhat dubious that we'd get a set for it, but that series wasn't announced until late last year. Do you really think lego would make a $500 set within 6-8 months of the official announcement of a show? When there's been no indication the show itself is even releasing this year? I think it's got to be the avengers tower. Seems like the only real option. (also remember that by the time the time heist happens, it's just an A remaining on the tower anyway.)
  24. He's 100% faking, same with the cody guy. Difference being that this fellow's put in some serious effort whereas the cody guy's essentially doing that: "Source? Trust me bro" meme.
  25. Ironically this was what made me get the Tumbler. The Bale films are my favorites, so I ended up getting that one. Thanks, got the tumbler. You're right, they'll definately make another Pattmobile for the sequel. I'll be honest, I'm more than a few decade too young to have an attachment to that series. Does seem to be a nice build though.
