  1. They look great! Sweetums is instantly recognizable, enough so that I, with my limited muppet experience, knew who it was even without knowing his name (I thought he was named jack? Scared the sh*t out of me as a kid, so it's funny to hear his real name is Sweetums.)
  2. I'm planning on getting yoda's hut, two snowtrooper battle packs...and I guess $40 more of stuff given that the Beru set is gonna be pretty expensive on the aftermarket. Hoping for a clone pack, but I doubt they'll be in stock. My brother loves purple, so maybe I'll get the tank too. This is the way. Although, what is it actually made of? ABS Plastic? Cheap metal? It almost looks like stained wood to be honest. Hey, she got all the out in front of the stairs of her home.
  3. Hmm. No blue milk luke, just a keychain with probably 0 aftermarket value. I was figuring i'd sell the promos off to recoup some of my losses, but now it's just the Beru one that'd be worth anything, and I have at max $120 of lego star wars I want to buy that'll be out by then. Yeah, that's pretty stingy. Since the qoute was missed earlier, I'll say it. Lower promos are either re-used or not even lego, higher one is a much higher threshold than normal, double VIP points are a limited selection of sets, many of which are retired/retiring or out of stock already... This deal is getting worse all the time!
  4. I have to agree, it's accurate, but Luke's landspeeder just isn't the most engaging vehicle. I'm still glad we're getting one, just since it's a pretty iconic vehicle to have, but I hope we get something more visually engaging next year. The AT-ST is due for a new UCS model, and if the gunship sold well I'd say May 2023 might be far enough off for them to crank out a UCS ETA-2 or something.
  5. Maybe it wasn't Fulcrum or Promobricks, but I saw a ton of people saying they thought the May the Fourth promo would be a skywalker homestead, and a few even mentioning Beru as an exclusive figure. I think he just saw that, made a post off the rumors, and got lucky that it came true.
  6. That would be nice. I don't usually get brickheads but if it's better than the family guy looking previous Vader brickheadz, maybe I'll get it. I think it's usually specific to star wars, but I might be wrong. He originally said it was going to be a commander cody minifigure (That's why his account exists) and then just jumped on the bandwagon of skywalker homestead leaks. He's fake.
  7. The Dioramas come out around then, too, don't they? That's my plan for $80 of it at least. I'm pretty sure a similar number of people want Revan as want Beru, if not more, even right now with a Revan already having been a GWP twice (IIRC they redid the promo in 2016 with an even more limited stock). Revan is a MUCH more popular character than Beru, which is why I like that she's the promo. A nice character to have to sort of capstone your collection, but no one's favorite character. How dare you disrespect Nien Numb in such a manner! Until Lord Numb is released, we will never have the holy trinity of Gonk Droid/Nien Numb/Pit droid. (Jokes aside, I would say Nien is the next one from the OT. He was one of only 7 heroes in battlefront 2015, he was one of the main characters in a middle-grade novel I read as a kid, and he's been in a fair amount of other games, books, comics, etc)
  8. I laugh, but of course they will, and given the whole osprey thing my laughter turns to a hopefully irrational fear that the promo somehow gets cancelled. Honestly I'm pretty happy with it. It's a nice small set with a figure many people want, but most wouldn't feel is a slap in the face to get as a GWP. Was only planning on getting the Dagobah set, but maybe I'll buy some sets to give as gifts or something.
  9. I mean, i doubt it's a small version of the homing spider droid, but I suppose it's possible they meant a crab droid. Given that they didn't clarify, though, I doubt it. There's got to be a word for "crab" in german, right?
  10. Ok but do you have information, or are you just making an educated guess based off the info we have? If you can't say you can't say, though I'm personally not aware of a situation in which one can say information but can't confirm whether or not they have it, I'm sure such a situation exists.
  11. Hold on a second, do you have insider information? Because if so, bravo. If not, you might want to phrase this a bit differently, as it sounds like you're saying it's confirmed when no reliable sources or official retailers have confirmed it. Even Promobricks is only hinting at it.
  12. Nope, it's a fabrication. I wouldn't call it a slap in the face, but it would be really annoying to people who wanted the character, and I guarantee 80% of the people complaining that the figures were lame would be complaining about Cody being locked into the gunship set. Only difference is I suspect many people who were fine with the actual figures would be complaining alongside them. Well, yeah, but lego never claimed that those were the fan vote figures, or even that the fan vote figure would be guaranteed in the set. Plus, all the question asks is for people to "add which minifigures they would like to see included", and as such there's a honestly a fair chance Mace and the Clone Commander could honestly have gotten more votes than Cody, since they in the film the set was based on. Also, I'm like 90% sure neither of those figures were already in production in February of 2020 when they announced that the gunship won. And sure, they didn't announce the figures themselves then, but given that it was a full two years before the other two sets...I think it's more likely that clone commander and Mace Windu were placed into those sets due to them being in the gunship than the other way around. This really doesn't make much sense when you think about it, and what's your point, anyway? That lego might not have put the top fan voted figure in the set, which they never said they would do?

  14. It's that damn codyleaks guy, too. He admitted he was fake and said he would stop posting like 2 days ago, and he's immediately back with this. It's driving me up the wall that some people believe that guy. No, I totally agree. Chiefly because, as much as people love to whine and complain, lego really listens to fans about stuff like this. Then you just look at it as a risk-benefit thing. I don't know that a statistically significant portion of the population would buy an AOTC walker but not a ROTS one. A ROTS one allows them to put in figures they've seen significant interest in, like P2 Cody. It's a pretty easy way to get more sales, since more people would buy the set if it includes a more desirable figure. (I mean, I got an AT-TE less than a month ago and I'm interested, though I think I'll take their "we don't want to put desirable exclusive characters in expensive sets" statement seriously and cross my fingers he'll show up in something cheaper in 2023).
  15. I think you're right in that the commenter is fake, but you do bring up an interesting point about the $160 one. It could just be that the final promo was bumped up because of the other two, but it's always possible that it's something bigger. That said, there was a huge easter promo a few weeks ago for spending like $50, so they might correlate size of promo to spending threshold all that much. Yeah I think this is accurate. A fair amount of people want system bombers and interceptors (I even went and made my own), but not many people want UCS ones. Honestly I think it was the same for the gunship. Most people would probably rather have had a system one (in fact there were a lot of voters that seemed to be laboring under the misconception that the UCS one would come with a number of clone figures more in line with a system set than a UCS one) I understand the landspeeder. It might not be the most interesting, but it's one of the most iconic vehicles in star wars. In a way, it's weird we haven't gotten it yet.
  16. Yup, although ironically, that particular one is a MOC. I still think we'll see the nebbie eventually, especially given that it always seemed pretty close between it and the gunship. (Maybe not the bomber though. I think I saw one person on this forum that wanted it, and no one on any social media. I could just not have been looking in the right places, but it doesn't seem like there was any real demand)
  17. Yeah, I don't think they've done anything specifically implying cody. That ROTS shot is, in retrospect, pretty clearly meant to show that they learned the AT-TE was utapau based, not geonosis based. Honestly even like a salmon or coral. The 332nd faces look much closer to red than orange IMO. At the risk of getting into wishlisting, since we don't even know if Cody's in the AT-TE... I think Vaughn could even be in an accessory pack if they continue with those, since he'd require only 2 new prints (one if they want to be stingy). I also think that more minor characters like Doom (and sadly thorn) are definately not coming anytime soon, but I could see a standard CC, p2 fox, etc.
  18. Yeah, they're clearly hinting at that now. I though the original hint was kind of vague, but that's a lot more clear. Vaughn would be easy, though I hope they would use a more reddish orange. The 33nd trooper is too orange right now IMO.
  19. Already supported, I highly encourage everyone else to as well. This is a super detailed set and a great idea for something that would be a legitimately useful thing as well as a great display.
  20. Yeah, Bacara seems unlikely to me (as cool as he is). I think if Cody comes out, we'll see a rash of CCs with that helmet in the future as "justification" for the mold, so to speak. That beskar leaked image...I don't know, guys. It could be the VIP thing (which means we still have the may the fourth promo coming), but it looks A LOT like it's been 3-d printed to me. Hell, we've seen better quality leaks like this for the force ghost and landspeeder windscreen, and those were both fakes.
  21. Yeah, I think it'd be nice to get an actual new figure or a build of some sort. I'm not usually super demanding that if the promo isn't xyz figure it'll be a horrible promo, but a keychain really isn't lego. You can barely take them apart.
  22. I get that cody is long overdue, but Bly and Bacara? They're onscreen for a couple seconds at most. Sure, it'd be great to have them, but there's not a ton of sets they could fit into.
  23. Unfortunately I don't know how to do any of that, so I can't help you, but to be honest that top one looks exactly like an official UCS plaque.
  24. I got tired of waiting and made my own AT-TE, and then spent like $100 on parts to build it, so if the AT-TE does come out this summer and has p2 212th and p2 cody, I will be kicking myself in the head, but I do think it would be cool. That said I also agree that the AOTC AT-TE is more likely. Sorry to qoute you for this, since a ton of people do it and I'm guilty of it myself, but this fake pattern thing is really starting to get on my nerves. There are a few more clear patterns that I think hold some water (we generally don't get a playscale version of a ship while the UCS one is on shelves), but I've seen a ton of crazy ones like this. To use this one, I am 99% confident that lego is not making system scale walkers specifically to coincide with film anniversaries. The set could be AOTC, but I don't think that there is any intentional pattern between walker releases and anniversaries. one of the weirder ones, though I can't find it, was one about how in 2008, we had an AT-TE, republic fighter tank, and gunship, so therefore we're getting all three this summer.
  25. It could be, but let's not get excited (or disappointed? I feel like most people prefer ROTS and P2 clones, but there's got to be some people out there who just wanted a geonosis AT-TE) just yet. The concept of the AT-TE blowing up is what confuses me. Is it just a meme? Is it saying that their rumor "blew up" and it isn't coming this summer? I definately wouldn't take this as any solid evidence of what film the set is from until they clarify. It never stops. And once we get P2 cody, they will move on to a new rex. It will never end. I don't think lego actually puts the designer's film preferences into which sets they make at all. My guess is that they've decided ROTS seems to sell better/p2 clones sell better/there's demand for p2 cody, and as such they're making the set ROTS based. That could be cool. If the set is EP3 based and there's boga, I hope they use the head from harry potter (The one they used for the fantastic beasts suitcase creatures and the hungarian horntail). I don't want a fully molded boga, but I don't think a fully brick-built head would work great either. I'm pretty sure they were. And not just "they're in the background of x scene for 0.2 seconds", IIRC there's a shot or two directly of the dwarf spider droids. Wookiepedia doesn't list them as combatants on Utapau, and they even list sniper droidikas, so I'm gonna say that they definately weren't there. Wouldn't be out of the question for them to put it in anyway, though again we don't know that promobricks was even trying to imply the set was ep3 based.
