Suspects: The Snogar Chief Adlartok Aggressive under questioning Unable to provide an alibi for the time of the murder - opportunity to carry it out Identified the statue as a symbol of ritualistic sacrifice Did not want to have the holy land mined and had been angry at the victim - clear motive Could have been given or stolen A-280s from the rebels Why would he leave the native statue as a symbol if he would then deny the murder? How could a being so primitive fire such an accurate shot? How did he shoot the victim and place the statue without leaving any footprints? - The blaster wound is consistent with the victim being shot from behind from the right, how come there are not even any footprints in this are? If it is not the chief then who would want to frame him? - why the statue? -

@DrMuttonchops what about the chima spider head for an aqualish, it isn't perfect, but it is passable - especially if the rest of the figure looks good.

Thanks, I definitely wanted to improve my landscaping with more angled sections and I think that it paid off in this build. That said, I agree that it is pretty difficult to work with, so I doubt I will do lots of similar builds. -
Thanks, it is indeed from Erik Killmonger, it felt a bit more of a realistic choice for a mask than some of the ones from CMFs.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the microscale buildings for a first attempt. Another fun detail that I forgot to mention is the Chima fire claw piece which makes surprisingly good lava! -

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the clone figures, I tried to use elastic bands for detailing to minimise my dependence on custom parts. As for the building, I tried to match up slopes to create some interesting patterns and I am pretty happy with the result. Thanks, I will try that next time I post. -

*Your entry has earned 5 XP* It was some time before that I had heard of Karius' misfortune on Mustafar. He had quite some experience on the planet and that was why high command had chosen him for a particularly important task. He was to build a modern mining facility on the planet that would serve the needs of the Triumvirate and act as a strong signal to the natives. Well he had begun to build the facility alongside a grand citadel based upon Vader's which he named 'Fortress Karius'. Things went well to start with but all it took was one rogue gravity storm and all his plans were ruined. He ended up with a large floating island dripping lava into a pool below. Luckily the citadel was not damaged but repairs to make the project viable meant that it went way over budget. After my first tensegrity project failed, I called in some help from my Dad, because while I am more focused on design, my Dad has a background in engineering so was better able to know how it could work. While this build was not quite impossible like my last one, I decided to do something that very few people have done with tensegrity - a completely asymmetrical build at the top. I somehow managed to build the top section with an almost perfect centre of mass and so my mining colony was born. This is perhaps the hardest technical build that I have ever done and my first build in microscale, so I would really appreciate your feedback.

Nice rocks, I think this might be your best landscaping yet - you certainly have blended the colours well. The doorway is nice too!

Really great first build for Factions. When I briefed you on the build idea for this one I thought that there was some real potential but you executed this build far beyond my expectations. I really like the door especially with the narrow slit - you've really conveyed the idea of a prison cell. The interior is nice too - it is good to see some details on the walls like lights and vents. The interrogation droid also looks really good too and throughout the build in general it is nice to see the influence of Leia's cell in A New Hope. Nice build!

So many great details, the building looks fantastic and I love the burned pattern with the remnants of the figure still there. The containers look great too. I also think that you have done a brilliant job with the figures in this one - the expressions and positioning are great and I really appreciate the little detail of the one red hand on the Mando. -

A great build with some brilliant landscaping and despite all the minifigures (which look really good) you have managed to make it not look cluttered. Between you and @Merc4Hire, Clan Eldar is already looking like some strong competition. I really like how you have merged in aliens to your Faction too, I was worried that a mandalorian faction might become quite generic with the limited helmet choice but I really like the minifigure aesthetic that you are going for. Looking forward to seeing how your faction will develop.

Completely agree as to which one should have had the helmet, I just prefer the look with the helmet so wanted him to be more visible. As for the landscaping, it was certainly a challenge to get right and took about 80% of the white parts that I have, but I think that the overall look was worth it in the end. Ironically, the techniques that I used in the pillar were heavily inspired by my earlier work on the misshapen tree on Rishi.
