Love it, very nice building. I do have a question on the grain cars though not being all that familiar with European style trains, I don't see any hatches on the top so how do they fill them?

Very nice building and will support, but kind of surprised it isn't a modular.

Very nice building and love the bakery, but how do the figs get into the apartment?

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
CSW652 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
So anyone figure out yet what modular this car is going to go with? -
Thanks

Would it look more real if the "pipe" pieces were 1 plate lower since you have the track lifted by 2 plates? Also I assume at least one end of the "pipe" would attach to something like one of those electronics boxes on the side of the tracks?

So no updates on the switches?

[MOC + Instructions] 6364 Paramedic Unit 2.0 Revisited

Very nice. -
From what I have seen so far, the architecture varies from store to store unlike most chain stores here in the USA, so they could almost look like any kind of building. Are these stand alone stores usually 1 floor or do some have multiple floors? Having only been to one small Lego store in a mall, I can't imagine all the stuff a multiple floor Lego store would have.

Lol. Probably should have a security detail there though.

Rather interesting post. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the links so far. I have to drive several hours to find a Lego store from my house and those are all in malls. Interesting to see stand alone stores as I wasn't having much luck finding exteriors online, lots of interior pictures though. Anymore even malls are starting to get hard to find around here.

Very nice looking. Would love to see one well cars with the side off.

Do you have pictures of the actual store? Very nice building though, I would buy that if it were added to the modular line. Supported.
-
This one... I assume only the corner of that building is a Lego store.

Thanks for the link. Any other links / pictures would be appreciated.

I have seen several very nice Lego Store mocs on here and am planning on building one myself someday, but I have to ask are there any real life Lego stores that aren't inside a mall? I have never seen one and tried to search for one on the internet, but just got pictures of stores inside malls.

Curious why this one and the other one are in the town forum instead of the train, but a nice looking loco all the same. Guessing it is a bit taller than the original 4564.

So as everyone builds their 40370s, I suppose Bricklink will be running low on the old style magnet couplers. Still trying to decide if I want to build mine or keep it in the box, maybe I should just get a 2nd one.
-
That would be awesome if they did a new train every year. Wonder how hard it would be to make a motorized version of 7750 using 40370?
-
Just went through the entire thread and looking at the pictures, I can see now the wheels appear to be touching. Guess I will just leave the one coming in the box then. Was looking for a YouTube video of one running on track, but so far haven't found one. Would have been even more awesome had they printed those pieces instead of using stickers, but I am still happy I have one on the way. Hopefully they will release more like it.

For those that have built and powered this, how will does it take the corner tracks? I wonder if Lego will release a 30th anniversary Metroliner next year or maybe they will wait another 10yrs.
