  1. Is it possible to put the train motor in the center of the tender and then add a wheel on each end? I assume the added wheels would have to swivel some.
  2. That is part of what I was wondering, but it does seem possible though. While I was thinking of how to power the Constitution train that I haven't built yet, I was thinking it would be neat to make a 4-4-0 like the Wanderer from the old Wild Wild West show.
  3. Just wondering if it is possible to use the large train wheels (85489) with the train motor (88002) and if anyone has done so?
  4. I'll just wait for the BrickTracks switches.
  5. Thanks for the link, I was able to pull a couple off there, but not the ones I was really interested in like the BN SW1200. I will play around on there some more when I have more time. It's a shame Railbricks ended, so far what I have gone through looks really interesting.
  6. So I found and downloaded the PDF versions of Railbricks 1-15, but I have a couple of questions. Are those the only issues they produced or are there more? While glancing through the issues and also in older posts on Eurobricks it mentions Railbricks instructions - are those still accessible somewhere? I clicked on an old 2009 Eurobricks topic link for the instructions and had a bunch of your computer is infected windows pop up - so I suggest not clicking on those.
  7. Just checking before I make an order - the new BrickTracks axles are identical in size to the official Lego ones?
  8. Would buy at least 1. Keep the tracks and maybe sell a few more trains. Wish there were more rail side structures in ideas and as official sets along with single rolling stock sets.
  9. I am also interested in this. I have built one box car and started on a second. The first uses the Lego sliding door part and for the most part is fine, but with one door on each side, it doesn't latch and tends to slide open occassionally. The other thing I noticed is the door colors are limited, expensive and hard to find. I am also trying to figure out how to make a fake plug door and if anyone has suggestions on how to do it.
  10. Haven't figured out the whole picture thing on here yet, but thanks for the replies and help. The torso and legs are exactly like Explorien sp008, but with a white helmet, white arms and a different face. Not sure how I ended up with it, but at least now I know that it is an Explorien.
  11. Probably the wrong section for this, but would someone be able to identify what series this minifig would belong to? Minifig has a white helmet, a white shirt with gray stripe with a circle logo containing a delta wing logo on the right side, and grey pants. If this is in the wrong section I apologize in advance.
  12. Unfortunately I don't have LDD or anything that would open the file, so I just have to create the old fashioned way. Nothing wrong with a little artistic license, it's Lego after all. It's just something I have noticed on several creations that I have seen posted on the forums here.
  13. Like the idea of wrapping the battery box in green. That green seems like a very good match. Would you be interested in sharing the brand / type of vinyl you used?
  14. First I have to say I really like these hoppers. They inspired me to try and make something similar myself, which is still in the trial and error phase. I do have to ask though for this and other models I have seen images of, why does everyone put brake wheels on both ends of the cars?
