  1. I'm not a big fan of the Zod armor. It gives me a very Mega Bloks-type of vibe...
  2. ^ I don't think the UK has Barnes & Noble stores.
  3. That was, quite simply, the most emotionally gripping and well-written episode of the series thus far. This single episode alone accomplished so much of what I've wanted to see in the series: hints of darkness within Anakin, the Jedi Order crumbling from within, and a glimpse into the fate of Ahsoka. 10/10, for sure! I'm hopeful that one of the Disney networks will pick up the series for Season 6; even if they don't, I'm sure that we'll see the show continue via another medium (e.g., home video releases, iTunes downloads, etc.). People are being quick to assume that this is the last we'll see of Ahsoka, too. I think that's a mistake.
  4. You're very welcome! I hope the minifig become available for you guys outside of the states eventually.
  5. FYI, Target is offering an exclusive minifigure with their version: http://www.target.com/p/the-hobbit-an-unexpected-journey-2-discs-blu-ray-dvd-only-at-target/-/A-14461794#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=hobbit+blu
  6. ^ They record episodes months in advance, so you can bet that Curry's been on board for a while now. There was just no reason to announce it until now.
  7. Judging by the clip alone, I'm not too impressed with the performance. Granted, it will probably take some time for Curry to 'settle into' the role, but Abercrombie made such a perfect Palpatine that it would be hard for any actor to fill his shoes.
  8. ^ Summer 2014 is still roughly a year and a half away, so I would think there's definitely time to get another LotR wave prepped and released by then. And I completely agree about the December tradition! I'm so glad they've decided to continue that.
  9. It looks like the finale to the Hobbit trilogy, "There and Back Again", is being pushed to a December 2014 release date: http://collider.com/the-hobbit-there-and-back-again-release-date/ This might actually be great news, as far as LotR sets go! There may be room to squeeze in another wave in summer 2014.
  10. ^ All Blu-ray players can play DVDs, just to clarify. Which king and queen of Gondor are you referring to, rogueang? I think the most likely minifig selection that you mentioned would be simply Grima, Gandalf, Saruman, Merry and Pippin. Even then, I have my doubts about Merry and Pippin. In my opinion, the most likely lineup would be something like this: Saruman, Grima Wormtongue, Lurtz, Gandalf, Uruk-hai x2, Mordor Orc x1
  11. That's cool, but does it need its own thread?
  12. It appears that it is indeed based on Bilbo from the deleted market scene: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sadVF1dhpr8/TwE846VrwmI/AAAAAAAAJHg/SvVBShcyeq4/s1600/5+Hobbiton+Market.png Since I can't see Lego making a set based on that scene, it looks like it really will be a true exclusive.
  13. I'll definitely be getting this! If it turns out to be an exclusive minifigure, that would be totally unexpected.
  14. That could work! Although I think the time has come and gone for an Ephant Mon minifig. Jabba's Palace or the Sail Barge would have been the most logical sets to include him in.
  15. ^ Ephant Mon would have to have a brand-new mold of some kind, I'm not sure how Lego would handle him as a minifig. But I like your idea of having a Jabba's Palace character as the exclusive!
  16. Perhaps we'll get 4-LOM and Zuckuss as exclusive minfigures someday, such as a May 4th promotion
  17. ^ If it isn't a main character, then it won't be Han Solo.
  18. Lego usually offers some sort of exclusive minifigure, along with a sale.
  19. Guys, here's the thread for speculation on future sets: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=78687
  20. We're getting way off topic.... I do hope that the Ewok Village turns out to be a reality, if only to have a Shop@Home exclusive that is System-scale. We haven't had one for a few years now, correct? Last year the only D2C exclusives were the B-Wing and R2-D2.
  21. That post mentions that the Ewok Village will include a new Logray minifigure, but I see absolutely no reason for that. The last one is only a few years old, and is probably about as detailed as you can get in a Lego minifig.
  22. ^ Welcome to the world of hardcore Star Wars fandom. I'll probably wait for some reviews before I decide to buy this one. It's a tough call, anyway, because of all the other great Lego SW sets that are being released this summer.
  23. Wow! I'm surprised that someone from the U.S. managed to snag them this early. From a LegoLand, no less.
  24. Red Five refers to a call sign, not necessarily to a specific ship. The model is meant to portray Luke's X-Wing as seen in the Battle of Yavin.
