  1. Sorry for the delay in commenting markus, but I'm just catching up following a week of (enforced) holiday! Anyway, it's well up to your usual excellent standards; the village is perfect and I really like your tree design, I haven't seen that before
  2. Congratulations AC, thoroughly deserved!
  3. Hi Disco86 & markus, it's great to have you both on board! The details of Episode V will be announced on Saturday, so you don't have long to wait
  4. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as they've been dashed before (I'm looking at you set 9678) But still a new Cloud City...now that would be awesome!!
  5. At least we're consistent! Don't worry, the next Episode should play more to our strengths...and just remember what happened in the 1980 version of Episode V
  6. It's 99% ready, and we're planning for a start date of around the 10th May. It's going to be different from anything that we've done previously.....
  7. I'm more interested in the new poster for May 4th....it looks suspiciously like the Bespin Duel to me! I'm eternally optimistic that TLG will answer my prayers at some point in the next 5 years!!
  8. Great work ACPin, flawless as usual!
  9. Hothbricks has just published a list of the sets that will be 15% off, I assume this is for Europe: http://www.hothbricks.com/ No Ewok Village (sigh)..actually I can't believe I just said that
  10. Great work marshall, it's always great to find someone who's as equally obsessed with Cloud City as I am! You've done a great job of expanding the original set whilst retaining the 'classic' look of it. If you're looking to improve it, I'd suggest making the landing platform a touch bigger and using the trans-neon green studs, rather than the orange. In addition, you could also replace some of the internal LBG upslopes in the duelling ‘corridor’ with dark red, and add some additional greebling to that section (black wall pipes etc?) And, sorry for the delay...
  11. Don't worry, there's always Episode V (and remember how well that turned out for the Rebels!)..... I have a feeling that we'll do far better next time
  12. Well done TWP, and......
  13. Great entry TWP, and some really nice little details, you've clearly put a lot of effort into it! I'm not totally sure about the Gungan shields though I've updated the title for you
  14. Hi MstrOfPppts, great build, I'm sure that Lord Vader will continue to think that you're special! I've edited the title for you
  15. I forgot to include this photo in my original post A few more LEDs to enjoy! Good luck to everyone, even my Rebel friends
  16. Hi, a nice little build, all contributions to the Empire are gratefully received! I've updated the title for you
  17. I think that you should concentrate on ships Bob, and give the rest of a chance!! Superb work, it's just beautiful
  18. Thanks for the offer BEAVeR, we'll bear it in mind Plans for Episode V are well underway, and we should be able to unveil it shortly after the judging of Episode IV has been completed. I'm hoping that it will encourage a lot of new participants; the objective might be especially interesting for you
  19. Hi rollermonkey, please bear in mind that most of the moderators have full time work or college and look after EB on a voluntary basis. I'm sure that Brickdoctor will update the front page when he has time. There are several links that we've included in the blog in the last few weeks, but I've included one below for FBTB which has some nice photos of the new sets: http://www.fbtb.net/2014/02/16/toy-fair-report-lego-star-wars/
  20. No problem, happy to help You should be able to edit the content of any post you've made, but only Mods and Regulators can change the name of threads after they've been started.
  21. I've updated the title for you as requested, good work comrade
  22. Hi BEAVeR, thanks for the suggestions and feedback We've already got some ideas for the next couple of Episodes which should be sufficiently different to keep it interesting! I don't want to give too much away, but one of them will involve a lot of travelling for one faction, and probably the use of equipment made by S**** and *******na by the other
  23. This is looking superb, the size and level of detail are amazing!
  24. I'm not sure about the new AT-AT, it does seem to be the weakest design of the OT sets in the 2014 wave. It's clearly an improvement on 8129, but that's not difficult! I'll be interested to see where the extra 300 parts have been used, as it looks a similar size, but it does have a few extra details which will account for some of them. I'm really impressed by the new Star Destroyer though, that's on my shopping list. 1000th post!
  25. Personally I would love to see it return, it formed a massive part of my childhood and I adored it During my dark ages I gave my extensive collection to my little nephew, and regretted it ever since. I've debated buying a load of the original sets, but I'm a bit OCD about my collecting and I'd need to spend a fortune to get them in the condition that I'd be happy with!
