  1. I'm not too worried about the figures that will be included in the new Mos Eisley, provided that we'll get a new Greedo. The cost of 4501 has been ridiculous, and it's already started to fall since the first photos were leaked, which can only be a good thing. It's one of the few sets that I'll definately be grabbing as soon as it's released. Good work Lego!
  2. Hi, I built one 12 months ago using new parts (and a few replacements) and it cost me £600 or approximately $985. I doubt that you could do it for much less, but I'd highly recommend it if you want an interesting project
  3. Just a quick reminder that the deadline for Episode III is the 14th January, so you still have a week left! We've had some great entries so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing the others
  4. Excellent work BEAVeR, I feel sorry for the Wampas!
  5. Great work guys, I'm looking forward to the first Imperial win!
  6. Excellent work trooper 278 I'm very impressed by your determination to build this considering the limited, and inconsistent, source material that you've had to work with!
  7. Excellent work BEAVer! It's beautifully finished and I love your Wampa! Although I must remain impartial, I have high hopes for the Empire
  8. Thanks for the review, but unfortunately your photos aren't visible
  9. Hi, and welcome to Eurobricks! You need to make 10 (good) posts before you'll be able to use the PM system
  10. Brickshelf is down....
  11. Great work Artizan, you've captured the look of Echo Base really well. I particularly like the design of the corridor and the arches in the ceiling I guess that you didn't want to show any festive spirit towards the Rebels, which is totally understandable
  12. Excellent stuff You've got until the 14th January to submit an entry for Episode III, so there's still plenty of time
  13. Hi, I have the following available for sale or trade, everything is brand new and has only been handled for sorting: 7879 TaunTaun (Sealed bag & Saddle) £7 7879 Han Hoth (inc blaster, hood and hairpiece) £5 7879 2-1B Medical droid (plus spare arm) £9 7879 R-3PO £12 7879 2 x Snowtroopers (inc blasters) £7 7879 Princess Leia (inc blaster & popsicle!) £8 7879 Injured Luke Bacta Tank £9 Hoth Echo Base: Parts and instructions only, no minifigures or Tauntaun (most of the bags are still sealed) £30 All prices are negotiable(ish) and I’m happy to ship anywhere at cost. I'm open to trades for sealed TC-14s or Han Hoth polybags. I’ve made several trades on Eurobricks and have 100% feedback on Ebay (member for 6 years). Photos available on request, just ask
  14. This is just incredible, and 'awesome' doesn't quite cover it! The amount of detail is breathtaking, and the engine section is beautiful  Congratulations on finishing this mammoth task, I hope you succeed in your attempt to build it.
  15. I don't understand why the TC-14 was so unpopular, after all it was a nice chrome protocol droid! To be honest I quite like the look of the TC-4, and it's certainly an improvement on the awful Han we had last year
  16. I doesn't look like the AT-AT or Star Destroyer in the images are any different from the old ones (8129 and 6211 respectively), so they're just 'placeholders' for the new versions (hopefully!). The new Mos Eisley set looks a little dissapointing but I've been fooled by prelims before, so I'll reserve judgement until the final images appear!
  17. Thanks! It's surprising that we're getting a system-scale B-Wing after the incredibly short lifespan of the UCS version & I'm not sure why we need yet another Snowspeeder. However, the AT-AT, Star Destroyer and Mos Eisley all sound really promising.....we only need a Cloud City next year and my life will be finally complete!
  18. They should be available on the Lego website in the next couple of weeks, just keep checking here (link)
  19. That's the spirit! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's builds, it's about time we won!
  20. Hi DJ, and welcome to Eurobricks! I'd second the advice to use Bricklink, I've used it extensively in the last couple of years and haven't had any problems. Just have a look around and try to buy from sellers that are based in your country, otherwise the shipping can get rather expensive! Oh, and it's LEGO......never with an 'S'
  21. Hi, I've got a decent quality scan of the UCS sticker if you want it. However, you won't be able to contact me via the PM system until you've made 10 posts
  22. I don't think this is suitable for the forum so it's probably best if I lock it.
  23. Great work Rook, it's just the sort of build that I've been hoping to see I really like the trolley idea, very clever; it's also good to see that the Imperials tidied the base after the rebels abandoned it
  24. Update: we've agreed to extend the deadline of Episode III until the 14th January, so you've still got time to enter!
