This is just a simple group shot of my mercenaries, me in Minifig form, and my American troops. And here they all are! A close up on myself. This is shockingly close, as I desperately need to shave more often. The Mercenaries, ain’t they gorgeous ladies? Big on the far left, Dead Eye Steve tipping his hat at y’all, Johnny chilling at the back and Robert at front, who’s had a head change. The main characters of my American Soldiers ideas. Sergeant John “Sarge” Bullock at the front, Corporal William “Professor” Johnson behind him to the left and David “Red” Smith to the right. Hidden behind the Professor is Harry “Sundance” Wilky and behind Red is The Kid. (I haven’t got a name for him yet, he lied about his age to join up.) The pictures were just something I quickly took, clearing a space on my cluttered computer desk, posing the Minifig’s, sticking a piece of paper to hide the junk and taking the shot. I did this mainly because soon my collection should grow (thanks to some new orders) and soon a new era of pictures will begin! Fur Der Vaterland!

Nothing is on sale for the moment. It was just a thought. Please stop PMing me everybody. I will announce if and when I will sell. -

Railway Cannon AA Gun carriage.

Nice to see it finally has air cover! Now, what will it do against Soviet Mine Dogs?! Nah, I'm kidding. Those thing wont get close enough. -
Video of the Mighty Lizbet - now complete!
Sir Norman Ray replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Now I really like this It may be a drain on resources and manpower, but by God its evil. Only problem I see with it is a lack of air cover. Stick a couple of quad guns around the place, and Dr Sinister's precious toy is safe from the skies. -
Ambassador Nominations for Classic-Pirates.com

Mr Phes and Phred get my choices as well. -
Because suicide is painless, it brings on, many changes, and I can take or leave it if I please. And you can do the same thing, if you please. Sorry, MASSIVE M*A*S*H fan, book, film and TV Show. Own all of them. You could go for Sutherlands portrayal http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3739588864/tt0066026 which is closer to the book, and thus real life. But you could make a lot of characters, and Radar's hat is already available!

Thanks! It's nice to hear some appreciation

Ok, how the hell do you make these public?

Wind swept across the barren plane. Decades had past since the last, great war which had wiped out almost all of manking. Those that survived found their planet mainly a giant dustball, and few countries had survived total devestation. In England no word has been heard, as it is thought that an experimental defense weapon saved most of the country, but has shut it's borders. Lise apparently goes on in the UK< but few other places did so well. America suffered badly, and with most of the remaining population now hunkering around in shanty towns, around nuclear bunkers and by the coast, most want to survive and make peace. But America, being so large, has lost area's. So what counts as official government sources in this new USA regularly hires mercenaries and other types to go forth into the giant desert, and find survivors. Robert flicked the safety off his MP5 as he approached the building. Around the side was Big, armed with his shotgun. Both Robert and Big had served in the army, and only Robert knew why he had the nickname. Johny wasbehind Robert, his AK47 in a relaxed pose. Robert had never seen such fast reflexes in a man, but he was confident about his safety. Bringing up the rear was Dead Eye Steve. After loosing an eye to a grenade, his one remaining eye with a sniper rifle was unstoppable. He had also lost his leg, meaning that he wasn't good at attacking. But this was an easy job, a simple, wooden shack with two long dead bodies. But nothing is ever so simple... The whole lot I like the character's I've made for this, but I wish i could have found a better board. I prefer Nuclear Winter idea's myself. But ah well, hope you like this quick construction!

"Mighty Lizbet" Railway Cannon.
Sir Norman Ray replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ah, so Sinister may be suffering from the classical dictator thinking of "bigger is better." Hitler had the Maus and the Ratte tanks. Although, I have got a strange fascination of Armoured Trains, their many carriages of bunks, anti-tank guns, AA Guns, MG's, kitchens and offices. Thats the problem with the modern age, who really needs trains in sheets of armour, when you have freaking planes that go faster... If you made one of those, I'd be as happy as Will from BrickArms announcing the release of British WW2 weapons and Minifigs. -
"Mighty Lizbet" Railway Cannon.
Sir Norman Ray replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Heh, looking at that monster, I remember a quoe from the book "Pegasus Bridge," "Jesus, their firing Jeeps at us!" Its pretty cool, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that creature's wrath. Though, weren't railguns a massive burden on the resources of the German army? Much like how the Maus tank never got finished? -
Aha, you spotted it. Yes, it's in fact BOTH! When I first started Warhammer 40,000 back in 1999, a friend of the family gave me a tonne of his old stuff. He also used to have a train set, and he gave me the board to fight on. I plan to sell it off soon, but I thought it'd be good enough for a quick scene, plus the sun was shining. (I must complain about that, this is England after all.) I do hope to do more scenes soon, showing off my squad of soldiers.

At the moment, everywhere. My South Essex army is kept under my computer desk. When I need to feel better, I look at them. All those smart red uniforms. I have a lot of spare Pirate based stuff (Bluecoats, pirate crews, swords, cannons, hats, pistols) which are stored into a 4 drawer thing. Also, mingled with them, is some LEGO star Wars. Over my computer desk itself are current interests. BrickArms stuff mainly (weapons and 5 US Soldiers) plus my own LEGO Persona and a band of mercenaries made from Wild West and Adventurers bits. Also Ted from The Cubes seem's to be here, and not at work In the garage in a a drawer set around 3 foot high is all my other LEGO. Bricks, minifigs, bases, instructions, the odd Warhammer bit, the random Wallace and Gromit thingy and other stuff. I say at the moment, because I am due to move in the Summer to my own house, which will mean it should all be in my bedroom (I currently live in the smallest room) and it means ease of access at last.

On the 6th June, 1944, the largest land, sea and air operation known to man took place. Thousands of troops were shipped across the English Channel to storm Fortress Europe and gain a foothold in German Normandy. But hours before the landings, thousands of men dropped into occupied Europe under the cover of dark. British Glider troops and airborne to the East, to take the two steel bridges and to silence an gun emplacement. TO the West though, thousands of American soldiers were dropped all over the countryside, missing their drop zones by miles. Their objectives, to harass the enemy and disrupt communication was done despite units being made up of a few men, some of whom had lost their weapons and equipment in the drop. In this scene, we see one such unit of men, walking across a small bridge heading to their HQ, meeting up with a young private as they did so. These are my first pics of my BrickArms WW2 Squad. I gave them the huge backpacks to represents the parachute's and all the stuff they carried. My squad is actually begining to form characters thanks to the different heads. So please be fair to me on my first attempt. I think I've posted this in the right area, I usually hide in the Pirates section you see. Rest of the pictures are here

Guide to the Pirate Mini-Figures - The Complete Series
Sir Norman Ray replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I've loved this series throughout its span. Keep up the great work! :-D -
Seems a shame to loose such a classic collector. Blast this upcoming mortgage, I can't buy his stuff! (Where does he say this?) On a side note, Sean Bean is currently filming another Sharpe TV Movie. Like the one from two years ago, it's set in India and is loosely based on one of the India books. (The last film a combination of two of the books.) Whilst it hasn't been the same since the dramatic ending of Waterloo (Why Harris and the old guy! WHY!) seeing as there isn't any glorious Redcoats and French lining up in green fields taking potshots, it'll still be grand.

Captain Green Hair: We'll get you yet. Load the muskets, get the cavalry, call up Sean Bean! I don't care if he's filming, I want this snot covered hair person caught and brought to the evil lair of evilness! THIS, I COMMAND! Thok: Now that there would be flaming obvious as to where it's come from :-P I'm thinking of dropping the rifleman anyway. I never seem to get any more black muskets for them, I dont have time to get custom Green Jackets and can't pay for Sean Bean's likeness. LegoLyons: Firstly, would you happen to be French? Just, that name is so, poetic. Secondly, I haven't done any bidding in months, so it's very unlikely. As for an action sequence, who knows?

How did you become a Pirate LEGO Fanatic?
Sir Norman Ray replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
THIS BLOODY WEBSITE! I'm serious as well. I had always missed the old LEGO, but this site? It wasnt just the the straw that broke the camels back, it also started a large legal battle involving the High Court, EU Courts and God himself on the fairness of camels.
