  1. .... Shoot that man.
  2. Hmm, a debate, which involves Britain against Americans, AND I HAVEN'T POSTED?! Personally, I think a better era would be around the Napoleonic era as thats when Piracy was more famous. Anything involving the British and American;s beating the stuffing out of one enough would only sell well in America, as, well, we lost the first one and the second isn't remembered here that well due to the fact we were stopping the French. Oh, and we didn't loose the 1812 war. And neither did America. We still held the rights to Canada, you had the right to go off and shoot Indians... If TLG honestly sat down round the desk, with their cigars, large coffee mugs and went "The fans want Pirates." I think they will go more towards the old line, us, as it was the most popular. LEGO Star Wars is only popular really cos it's Star Wars. Oh yeah, they've done wonders with the Theme, but it's Star Wars. LEGO will go "Lets get back to basics" and give the people what they want. In Glorious yellow minifigs *sweet*
  3. He better hurry up, I'm wanting to see the follow up so badly, I refuse to take pictures of my army and garrison until he does. Seriously, hurry up please!
  4. Had to be the Admiral *sweet*
  5. A ship without sails? DO YOU WANT ACTION FORCE TO SINK THIS SHIP?!? Seriously, brilliant ship mate *y* Keep up the grand work! X-D
  6. Maybe he needs the cash? It's why my brother sold his ORIGINAL Star Wars toys years ago. I voted Pirates (SHOCK! GASP! DISTRESS!) simply cos, I grew up with it. I also don't like where Castle seems to be going these days. It seems to be going down the Lord of the Rings/Warcraft alley. Dwarfs, trolls, orcs, goblins etc. If I wanted that jazz, I'll go back to Games Workshop and relearn all THOSE rules... What happened to the simple days. THOSE WERE THE DAYS MAH FRIEND, WE THOUGHT THEY'D NEVER END....
  7. All those redcoats, all those Shako's... Must resist, can't, spend,
  8. I have to honestly say, it confused me, as I spent two days wondering why the forums broke. But now I see why you've done it. I partly preferred the old way, but thats because I'm an old game clan player, meaning I'm used to sub-forums with even more sub-forums. Ah well, all is good at least *sweet*
  9. I say the Knight win, with the aide of a squad of heroic redcoat soldiers! :-D Or just wins, flat out, which ever is easiest :-P
  10. 8-o 8-o 8-o That sir, is freaking awesome! I hope that when I get to making my MOC it's as good as this :) Keep up the great work, I can only wonder what this is going to grow into next! *y*
  11. Despite vowing to never EVER buy more LEGO on Ebay for two weeks, I still haunt it and bid on redcoats, and I find a nice wee selection now and then. French Force Trading Post Hmm, I may bid for this myself...
  12. I agree, it is only a matter of time before once more LEGO sets for the high seas. Also, in regards to this ship and its design, all I can think of is "DO YOU WANT ACTION FORCE TO SINK THIS SHIP?!" I need coffee...
  13. I would so open it. Why? Because it's a toy, and I love to build stuff. And I like my childhood. :-P
  14. I have to agree with my Mister Phes, the only time I've seen the USS Constellation was in the cartoon Action Force (GI JOE for England) in the episode "Sink the Montana" 8-| ... "DO YOU WANT ACTION FORCE TO SINK THIS SHIP?!"
  15. I remember this lot actually. I was gonna bid on it for a while, simple cos it had some redcoats and shakos. Then I decided to think about it and realised I didn't need all that jazz. But otherwise it looked like a good lot. As for swivel cannons, I dunno, I understand the need for them, but also hate them as a cheap ripoff... I need more coffee before I can think on this.
  16. Well, at the moment, collecting has stopped, due to my family going "STOP WITH THE PARCELS!" and we cant move for the bubble wrap. Also, it's scary seeing how much I was spending. As for organisation, how on Earth can I do that? Really, this is one company of men! Organisation was 100 men with some NCO's and Officers, a company! And there was 10 companies a Battalion! By the way, this doesn't include 2nd Battalion at all, which is another, 20 odd figures, pluss spares etc. (I really can't believe its this many. I remember getting my first 4 lots, all from the same guy...) And I keep meaning to have a custom flag, but I can't draw, only write :-P
  17. At long last, after weeks of no pictures, PICTURES! Major Tom Atkinson, Sgt Major Conroy and Ensign Canning "Nepotism? No such thing here! Just coincidence some of us look alike!" This is 1st Battalion, currently consisting of 104 infantry alone. I hat to squash them all up due to lack of room! 2nd Battalion is my (unfinished) Garrison. On a serious note, I want to use Brickshelf, I signed up, but when I try to upload, it always says 500 Internal Error. Any clues as to why this happens? Sorry if there's a thread for this, but I couldn't find it at all!
  18. Joey Lock, thanks :) Though, you need more men then officers! Otherwise, well, its a lonely battlefield :-P Mr Tiber, thank you :) An update should come this Wednesday. A lack of updates was caused by two weeks of shift change at work, where I lost my Wednesday off. (5 of us in the same house, I prefer private work :-P ) I have a lot more men now, and my last batch on the way. Its time for me to start sorting the boys out, and showing the true might of the South Essex, both 1st Battalion (here) and 2nd! (Garrison force) Gentlemen, the Hunt! *raises glass of wine*
  19. Hey, nice article mate! :) I can't wait for the next one, with Imperials :-D
  20. HUZZAH! We have Shako's! Break out the rum! Flog the Pirates! Hire Weird Al to play music etc etc! Oh fabulous day, calloh callay! Shako's, were closer at last! Keep up the great work! *sweet*
  21. By 'eck! That's one impressive army! Though, I have to mention that numbers aren't everything, after all, look at when Wellington was brought in in the wars :-P But, it is great :) Well done! (Got any spare Shako's? :-P )
  22. Quick! I need airline tickets to Berlin! I see Bluecoats, WITH SHAKO'S! Seriously, this is freaking great. Germans, always great builders.
  23. Zulu! Ah, what great, old fashioned movie that was. "Don't fire till you see the whites of their eyes lads!"
  24. Looking at this with the British Grenadiers playing makes this more impressive, I have to say :) It really sets the mood, and I can imagine the lines of redcoats marching forward, in perfect spick and span order being cut down. At least we got our revenge in 1812! I hope to see more work from you by the way, so don't let me down, or I'll send Richard Sharpe to take you out :-P
  25. Very nice work mate :) Though, leave us Brits alone :-P
