  1. Nice instructions! Next "year" I will build my own special version. I also need to get one of the motors. When I look at the sets including them I know why I don't have it - all the sets were not on my wishlists.
  2. Can it be a monowheel ...with spare tire wheel? Sorry, could not resist asking this but I don't regret anything...
  3. Hi, after long years of only reading the site, I joined in 2018 and finally I would like to spend some words about me. My first set was 645 Milk float and trailer. The first phase took some years, my brother and me we had quite many sets until 1978 or so inlcuding the first year technic sets and some small Classic Space sets I all remember fondly. New start after my Dark Ages was 6514 Trail Ranger in 1996. I spent one hour building many different car versions from this one box - which was quite a fun with only 32 pieces. With the restart the focus was on 9V trains, City and Technic, 8868 e.g. - one favorite one. Around 2000 I also bought my first StarWars set - 7140 X-Wing. Then I started with collecting the alien minfigures from Lego Star Wars. Of course it did not stop me and nowadays I have all Star Wars minifigures you can see on Bricklink and some more. In 2018 the Lego Star Wars Minilands closed and I decided to build my own one. This year I built Cavegod's Sandcrawler, KitBricksto's Tantive IV and Brickvault's Ghost, the parts for the executor are also prepared. Many other plans are set up of which I luckily some need to do on my own. On Eurobricks I especially like the friendly way of conversations and discussions with many well experienced builders and fans from all over the world.
  4. If these would be fuel tanks on the side it wouldn't have run out of fuel in the film I guess. When I remember correctly these are plasma bombs. I also checked now the instructions on rebrickable- 40 Euros are okay for such a beast - if you can't afford this creation it will be because of the number of pieces and the question where to put it... https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-60189/Julio lego/bunker-buster-ninka/#details There you can also find some more pictures I assume the pieces in red can be replaced by any colors? Also some pieces should be able to be replaced by others (35394, 4*4 dish in lbg by 3960, 42022 brick curved 6*1in lbg by 61678, slope curved 4*1 and plates, and 6179, tile 4*4 w. studs in orange by 88646 tile 4*4 and plates or tiles, 2356 brick 4*6 in lbg by 2 times 6*2 or plates, maybe 3033 plate 2*2 with oct. frame in dbg by pieces in silver? - I don't understand why new ones are such expensive - I have quite a lot of them). What sources did you use? From the one picture I would say the front parts left and right would be a little longer?
  5. A cool creation of such a big and different ship. I am not sure if it is on my wishlist for UCS mocs since there are many others with higher priority. I guess the most weight is on the rear but the two front parts will be too heavy for the thin connection as far as I can see. Most probably you will need to support them. Anyway, will you publish your instructions? This could convince me
  6. I was not much interested in any pullback motors - this amazing moc changed my mind
  7. A beautiful collection even one is flying around somewhere -missing one to 20. I struggled some minutes to decide which one I like most and it should be the gray/pink in the left upper corner - a nice change in colors for Star Wars ships. A reddish brown/ yellow one would remind me of 4778 Desert Biplane which color combination I liked very much. Bright light orange is a lttle too dark for that. And which one do you like most?
  8. Yes, the rigid hose 75c29 or any (not too short) length can be pulled to a circle. This was also used for the cockpit of Brickvaults Ghost v2 where clips with slopes were fixed to it. But you have to fix the ends with clips or to connect them using pneumatic hoses. If it is fixed then it will stay.
  9. A cool model. I still have questions about the concept itself. From the pictures on Gradall I would assume the telescopic arm is resting on another arm which is lowered and raised by hydraulic like at a normal excavator not by a rotational mechanism. Also I read the extending would be also done by hydraulics -maybe this would be an easier way to follow? Anyway I would assume your gearbox is not fitting into a supercar, that's a pity...
  10. Hi Lasse, beside the other points like steering or gearing down the lifting mechanism I would like to mention that rigidity is a main point as you experienced. If you look to the top part of a real straddle carriers it is not flat but similar thick to the supports. In your model it is only one liftarm thick but you can easily make it 5 layers high also giving you enough space for diagonal connections between supports and top. As you know liftarms are anyway not as rigid as studded technic bricks and can bend much easier, This makes it also more demanding especially for such a construction. I liked also the short lfting of the carrier itself which of course does not happen in reality. In the end you already created a nice construction and you took a good challenge.
  11. It is not worth to split the 10019 for this Tantive IV - there are only around 150 parts you can use for this build. As you can imagine this is a totally other build than 10019- times and available parts changed a lot. From the new Tantive 75244 you can use around 600 parts. My advise would be to buy the instructions and simply check what you have. Anyway you need e.g. 344 times the white slope 93273 - pretty sure you have to buy some- same was valid for me even I have around 1 million pieces.
  12. it is currently in redesign, please check his website: https://alloutbrick.com/products/medical-rescue
  13. Gold parts? Please check 80012
  14. The pictures of the MOC are looking very nice! Just downloading now the instructions - worked very easily. Check out his website, parts list mentioned there: https://rebrickable.com/users/AllOutBrick/lists/79526/ It is now on my todo list...
  15. The more you show of the ship the more like it!
  16. Cool - I need them!

  20. In the meantime 37352 Brick, Modified 1 x 2 x 1 No Studs, Curved Top is available in dark bluish gray for 15 Eurocent in BnP. Replacing the expensive 6191 - luckily I did not start yet with the building so I don't have to think of replacement in another way.

  22. Hi Christian, here are my comments to the pdf instructions, as you wished also with page numbers and step numbers if needed. For other topics please check page 6 and 7 of the thread, the hints from brickmarlin. Also the motor for the conveyor belt is missing. Some points were too easy to fix during build, others were not easy and will be most probably also not easy to fix in the instructions.. It was really a pleasure to build it. I still have to fix some panels on th ehullwhich are lying in a box, desperately waiting to get in operation. p.21. 11: free hanging pieces, fixed with next page p.33, 8;p.57, 8;p.61, 8: free hanging pieces, fixed with next page p.28, 16;p.42, 16;p.52, 16;p.70, 16;p.75, 16: free standing pieces, fixed with next step Technic bricks on pins and between plates at same time: p.83, 2,3; p.83,4; p.84, 4/6 etc. repeated action for whole base also p.217, 136 etc.: plates to put between technick bricks p.88, 17: technic bricks coming on p.106, 36 p.96, 26: bricks, liftarm in between comes with front door on page 426 p.112, 12: free hanging pieces, fixed with next page p.126, 45: technic bricks to build in afterwards p.183, 102: start of putting inverted slopes between bricks, whole front like this until p.215 p.271, 189: bricks came too late p.301, 8: wegde plates too late p.305, 17: round bricks too late p.308, 7: free hanging plate p.311, p.312 2,3: round bricks too late p.351, p.356 technic brick between pins and bricks p.353, 7 free hanging bricks p.354, 12 technic brick between pins and bricks p.352, p.358 actuator put too late on axle p.374 red technic brick coming too late p.381, 382 plate with hole and plate too early p.408, p.409 actuator to put on pin between bricks p.502, p.562, p.573 walls to put between hinge bricks p.539, hinges to be put between plate and tiles, fixed on page 559, tiles too early p.575, black tile and wedges not fitting with grilled tile on bottom greetings, Martin
  23. Hi all, I want to mention that new pieces from 75275 A-Wing and from the Monkey Kid sets are now available on B&P So I had to order the trans-yellow 6x6 dishes and trans windscreens and some other stuff. Also the modified head "pig" was available but I had to shorten my order this time - it was getting too long again...
