  1. The lens flare have blinded me. But that's a pretty damn good looking MOC you got there.
  2. OMG, my set finally shipped! Thank you baby Jesus. Cant wait to display this with the 42009!
  3. I wish it's only $10. From my own experience with the TRU around here, they mark-up all LEGO sets by 20%, from Minifigs to flagship Technic sets. There's no discrimination at all. If I don't see it on sale at Target, I buy it from LEGO S@H or Amazon. I don't buy anything from TRU.
  4. I agree with doriansdad on this one. Until they stop taking orders from S@H with the out of stock or sold out tag on the product page, I would go ahead and place an order and see what happens. I mean what's the worst that can happen? You would be missing out on an awesome product because you believe in what somebody else said.
  5. This is nothing new, and why I dont use ebay or craigslist anymore. Stolen goods.
  6. This is not my first time ordering from S@H. I'm on the west coast US. Ordered within 10min after the item came live PST (I believe it came live at 830 PST). All the items have same status, in process, which I assume will come in 1 shipment. Ps. A call to TLG got me the update that theyre packing my stuff for shipment at the warehouse, awaiting FedEx pickup.
  7. I've been a VIP member for quite a while and this is not my first time shopping at S@H. Just got off the phone with Jane at TLG, gave me a live update that my order is getting packed at the warehouse waiting for FedEx pickup! OMG! /faints
  8. OMG, the wait is murderous. I made sure I'm living in a country where TLG will seed a large amount of sets to, I made sure to order the item as soon as it becomes available, and I made sure to give them all the right order information. It's day 2 now and my order has only gone from Customer Service to getting stuck at In Process, while I see other US AFOL getting theirs shipped or delivered. This is stressing me out to no end! I'll have to call TLG customer service again today.
  9. My order is now In Progress. Hopefully it will ship out tomorrow, as well as them receiving my return so I can use the return credit to buy the 42009!
  10. The color is fine IMO, they need to make them bigger though! I need to see them CAT mining trucks scaled to minifigs!
  11. As far as what's available for purchase from LEGO directly, the unimog should top your list follow by the mobile crane mk2. Epic sets to get you out of the dark ages!
  12. I got my order confirmation around 8:40PM PST last night. Order number is Y4511537xx. Still no order shipped email yet. But if you got yours shipped and I ordered way ahead of you, I should be fine.
  13. So being a worry bug, despite ordering 10 min after the item going live, I called customer service to confirm I got my order in. They told me theyre still verifying the orders. Oh man, the wait and anticipation is killing me! Ps. The item went live at 830pm PST on the west coast.
  14. allanp, I read your post in the other thread. Great idea and exactly what I have envisioned! TLG needs to make it happen!
  15. Can't argue with you on that one. That's another epic set that I'd like to see updated.
  16. Am I paranoid to think even though I got my order in 5-10 minute after it went live on the US S@H site, that I won't get my 41999. Should I drive over to Glendale this morning and buy the set at the LEGO store and if I get the shipment, I can always return it. Hmmmm. Well, here's the thing. Even if I buy 2 sets, with the intention of reselling, the shipping cost alone will turn me off. I just returned the 9398 the other day and the cheapest cost to ship it back to LEGO was using UPS Ground, which cost me $50. That's crazy! Unless I charge double the cost of the set, tax, and shipping, the effort is just not the trouble!
  17. OOS on the US S@H. Expect 30 days for next shipment. Oh happy days. I will see if I can use LEGO in house credit at a LEGO store or if it's restricted to phone in order only.
  18. Oh damn, it's OOS already in the US S@H. That's hella fast. Something about shipping in 30 days if you order now. Do you know if they printed all 20k copies or they're doing it in batches?
  19. Thanks for the review once again. 176 unique minifigs. That's insane! What do you do with all the duplicate figures anyway?
  20. Don't worry, there aren't enough AFOL in your region buying up all the sets in one night, especially with the 2 set limitation.
  21. Hot dog stand polybag is no longer available. Order over $50 gets the Galaxy Squad mini mech now.
  22. You brought up some good points. I just hope they don't regress and build something that's worse than the 8070. I mean it wasn't a bad supercar, but it wasn't as technic as I wanted a super car to be. I just hope they don't go the direction they did with the 42000 compared to the 8458. That was such a let down. I still can't decide if I want to pick up the 42000 or not.
  23. Here's the direct link to the US S@H for the 41999 in case people can't find it. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/4x4-Crawler-Exclusive-Edition-41999
  24. Limit is 2 at the US S@H. Never crossed my mind to order 2 so I can make a possible profit if this set is indeed so limited that people will go through great lengths to buy it. But I think I'm happy with my 1, just as I did with my 1 Unimog and 1 motorized excavator. It's all the enjoyment that I will gain for myself building, learning, and admiring these awesome LEGO Technic sets. Now the wait is on for the 41999 to be delivered to me next week along with the 42009. Soooooo happy and excited to be building these awesome sets!
