  1. Lol, hunchbacc Wraiths amirite? Nice and chunky too. Does look pretty cool tho. Nice shots btw.
  2. You're welcome, glad to know it worked out for you. Best wishes on your LEGO project!
  3. I see, perhaps try dialing back to the previous version of LDD. You can find the link somewhere here: If it still crashes a lot, another thing you can try is to use Stud.io 2 since it is compatible with .lxf files and also has a built in render engine.
  4. Hmm, I've had models up to 20k+ bricks in LDD, and it only crashed a couple times, but was still workable. I assume that you have already lowered the graphic settings in LDD? You also said that you have the most up to date version, did you install the latest version from the LDD website? (You'll know if LDD tells you that it cannot connect to the internet on startup everytime), that can be somewhat unstable. You'll need the version of LDD prior to that. Does your computer have multiple graphic cards? As in, both an Intel integrated graphics card and a Nvidia (or AMD, etc) graphics card? If so, try switching and see what happens.
  5. *cough, is this even made with LEGO bricks!? The gorgeous stickers and black color scheme really makes this look like a die-cast model truck! The cabin looks so good, I just wanna hop in there and drive it!
  6. Woah! I don't even know what to say. It phenomenal on every level! Looking at that torso feels like I'm out of this world
  7. What a masterpiece! The fact that you built all those angles with little to no gaps is mind boggling! It also look incredibly cozy both on the inside and outside. Every aspect of this MOC is brilliant!
  8. Yeah it doesn't really look Harley. I took some inspiration from the HD 2020 Live wire, which is kinda sacrilegious for a Harley Davidson, but I went with it anyways.
  9. Thanks! Yeah, I thought I had nailed it with the colors as well. Thank you! Glad to know that I also nailed the futuristic design. Thanks as well! I wanted a shock absorber like element, and those linear actuators fit perfectly in it's size and design. Now that you mention it, it previously didn't occur to me that this motorcycle doesn't even have a chassis. That's a interesting way of putting it
  10. A futuristic Harley Davidson concept motorcycle I built for the "Build An Epic Ride For The Future" contest on LEGO Ideas. I thought I'd post it over here for fellows here to check out (Above): An over the top render of the motorcycle riding on the highway. It's capable of self-driving, hehe To stay somewhat fateful to the classic Harley Davidson designs, I maintained some details like the V-Twin engine (which is now oversized, and transparent), the exhausts (even though it's supposed to be emission free...), and the placement of the front suspension forks. Other than that, I guess it looks closer to a futuristic sports bike I also thought that elements such as the Large PF Linear Actuators and the Mindstorms IR Sensor (which I totally wrecked it's color), without considering their functions, provide plenty of free details in such a small space. I would certainly like to know what you think about this motorcycle Did I do Harley Davidson motorcycles justice? Thanks for viewing!
  11. Woah, the details you were able to carry over into such a small model is amazing! I'm loving those linear actuators at the bucket arm.
  12. You modeled all the parts!? Wow, fantastic job! You really nailed the materials of the bricks. I do like how you went with "Silver Ink" instead of a chrome silver. The silver material is also incredibly spot on! The motorcycle looks stunning with it.
  13. Amazing! This is one masterclass on building techniques and landscaping! The colors here are really pleasing too. But some of the things that really stuck out to me was the small logs of wood jutting out from the wall, and the floor tiling in the entrance. Really great work!
  14. The shape of this Modular Building surely took me by surprise! It is incredibly well built! The colors are pleasing and clean, (mostly perfect, except for the green baseplate, it clashes a bit with the sand green walls..., IMO ) The window design you built here is also superb (mostly on the front and especially on the upper floors), it's really simple but incredibly effective. The interior shots are really nice btw. I've always struggled with DOF, and you pulled it off very well here! This is just my thoughts, but using sky HDRIs does make the render look flat. Especially without any additional lighting to create some interesting reflections. But I think it all comes down to preference, your renders look really great as it is already, and I'm just nitpicking. Other than that, fantastic Modular Building! Can't wait to see another one from you!
  15. Wow, both of the structures look fantastic! An incredibly solid design with great choices of colors! I really like the sculpting and the texturing on the white building. But what really stand out for me would be all those greenery. They are amazing!
  16. Those are really cool builds! Love the concept and the colors!
  17. I don't know what kind of shops you have in your country, but if there is a LEGO Shop, or Toys R Us, you could find promotions there, but that typically includes having to spend several hundreds to get it. If you're lucky you could find some local dealers who sources for LEGO sets, the prices should be more reasonable than those online.
  18. By bagged LEGO, do you mean promotional polybags, as in small lego kits that come in small plastic bags? Or do you mean loose LEGO parts that are sold in bags? Either way, the websites you mentioned are kind of the only way if you are looking for the old ones.
  19. Great! I'm glad you got the part you needed! As for fixing them on to the model, Studio 2.0 snapping system won't work because (I assume) you have not defined any area in which parts should snap to. There are two ways to solve this problem. .1) Open the part in Parts Designer, and there should be a button somewhere that lets you define snap points for the sail. I haven't had much experience with that, but it shouldn't be too hard. .2) The easiest method would be to select your part and press "T" on your keyboard while in Studio 2.0. This would activate some arrows which you can then drag around to get the part to your desired location. Though be aware of the "grid distance". If the distance is set to large, you will not be able to get the sail to exactly where you want it. Set the grid to small for precise movements. - As for where to locate the "grid distance" setting (if you didn't know about it yet)...There isn't an obvious button. But in the toolbar at the top, you should see a button that resembles a small grid, click on that and you should see a dropdown menu with the "small", "medium" and "large" settings. Hope this helps! Good luck with your project!
  20. You didn't really specify there, but parts won't appear either in the parts palette or when you import official sets because the part is not in the Studio 2.0 parts database in the first place. But there is a simple solution, Bricklink, the maker of Studio 2.0 created another software called Parts Designer. Parts Designer allows you to import many types of objects such as, .obj, .ldr, and .dat (.dat is the file format for LDraw parts). So with that, you can try browsing the LDRAW parts database online and see if you can find the part you are looking for. If you can find it, download the .dat file, import the file in Parts Designer, and export it to Stud.io 2.0. The part in question would appear in the "Custom Parts" palette. If however, you cannot find the part you are looking for in the LDraw parts database, either you can wait for them to add the part (who knows how long that would take), or you can model the part in a 3D modelling software. Sometimes, LEGO Digital Designer has parts that LDraw does not have. See if you can find it there. Though extracting parts from LDD will have it's own bouts of peril... I hope this answers your question!
  21. What a beautiful scenery! I really love the colors used. I also like how you chose to make it bigger than minifig scale, it works so well here!
  22. Wow, this MOC proves that it's possible to create amazing Technic cars at this scale! It looks really clean, and the design of the front and rear is recognizable.
  23. Very nice MOC! I especially like the use of colors. The additional custom decals adds to the model tremendously. ...Though I think the window design looks a little uninspired... But overall a solid MOC!
