Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Maple replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I've been a Jurassic Park fan for decades, this is a huge disappointment. The price (I know the piece count thank you), and not Jeep is a pass for me. Nice figures though. I'm still hoping for a Visitors Center in the future, maybe with a jeep. But at this price point it would be like $500. -
The purple and yellow gym set from 2 (?) years ago was amazing. The pale yellow buildings are always great too. I wish LEGO would make the mason brick brick in pale yellow.

When I firsted clicked on this I was thinking that the hotel would be the new coral color of LEGO which would be interesting. But for being very white the colors that there are are perfect. But the most impressive thing to me is the texture. The floor tiling is insane (in a good way). The natural gap between the cheese plates works great and makes the floor even nicer. The little bit of indent under the curved windows outside is just a little bit of detail that really adds to the design because it's so super white.

The replies I've seen defending LEGO's insane hatred of leaks is the reason I only dip my toes into the LEGO community because it's more a cult. LEGO doesn't like leaks than stop being so anal and just release the info May 1st and say the sets will be in stores for VIP members May 14th. There is no need to freak out, leaks get people talking about a set more. It's free press and the fact people here act like a leak is a person attack again their family is ridiculous. LEGO doesn't like leaks then don't send it to stores two weeks early, announce the set sooner. There are a million things to do than blame people making slightly more than minimum wage for leaking a set and creating buzz.

I feel like Eurobricks is something of an old boys club

I completely agree which is why I'm rarely here. Not only is it elitist but it's to an insane level rarely even seen on other sites. Very off putting. -
Probably it's second year when LEGO figured out how to blend colors. Everyone just overlooked it because of the lame minidolls. But Friends is really amazing and super underrated. When the buildings actually have three walls it's the best constant theme around. I wish the coral piece was the coral color but the little animals in coral make up for it. Really well designed sets. That boat is amazing and I love light houses but this one is too tall, too many windows and the slide is silly. The last one was sadly slightly too short. Soon LEGO will get the middle ground.

That Restaurant is stunning. I love cool yellow buildings. The Friends cool yellow beach house was super awesome too from years ago. (No idea if that's the color, it's just what I call it.) The coral piece is neat but kind of useless in the grand scheme of LEGO.

You never drank at the brewery? It's the hip 'new' thing in the USA that the 'tasting room' (aka small bar) is in the factory where the beer is made.

Yes. I forgot his name. I'd love to have gotten a Supergirl!

They all seem to be slightly different. But thank you! I always love random minifigures. My prize A was Hulk, Muddy Solo, and Some other green super hero guy.

Thanks! I'm curious if I mix some sand red in with some coral that it would look like some of the bricks were older in City buildings or if it would just look funny. -

The stuff in 80101 goes in and out of stock. I wish I had the money to buy all the food in separate orders but 'ehh'. Need new job first. Also need to buy Brick Bank before it's gone again. megbricks, you wouldn't happen to have any sand red bricks would you? I'm curious to if they are close to the same shade / feel. -

I have never seen the bowls, I'd buy a bunch if they were. -
LEGO never announces big sets at Toy Fairs unless they are actually doing a press release for them as Toy Fairs are meant for toy shops to know what to order and more exclusive, hundreds of dollar sets are not shown or the star of the show. So there is a tiny amount of hope for another huge NinjaGo Movie set. But Ice Fortress has me excited.

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Maple replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm going to throw out a theory based on nothing. 75934, 75935, 75936(D2C) will be Jurassic Park 1-3 sets. 75937/8 will be Jurassic World sets. Or maybe it's just my OCD of not needing to explain why the D2C set is in the middle. -

The popcorn set is only in two sets, the fire station and the polybag. The Asian dress was $2.22! Way too rich for me. -

Yep and 80102, I'm wondering where the Asian boat race set is. I'm more curious about the other food because I know they were made but I can't remember where. -

Before I order I'm looking for food, taco, lemon, egg, Asian food and dual side minifigure heads because I can't tell which is which on BnP. -

That's more than I make in a week. Heck, that's almost my rent. -
I love the purple rocks and the use of the pink astronaut. I don't know if it was on purpose, but I get a special kick out of the fact that the flower is very Christmasy. :)

Yeah, NASA already has a top secret space crash that's a tiny car sized Shuttle, but no one knows what's it's doing. But an actual shuttle with 7 people on it, none of the children of today have watched live. However yay for Youtube. -

We are all assuming that the 'rocket transport' is a big plane with a rocket on top. If that's the case just switch the shuttle for the rocket.
