  1. The video tapes are from Stranger things right? But what pieces is to it's left? Not seen that before.
  2. I normally skip the very few LEGO City buildings as they are really boring design wise, but Target.com USA is having a massive sale this week and I got it for $50SD (50% off). Looks fun, tons of figures and three walls.
  3. Opps. I thought I stuck the link. https://www.target.com/p/lego-bean-there-donut-that/-/A-53825108
  4. So I'm bumping it say it's now $7.50! I feel stupid for getting it when it was $16. I bought 6, two for me (I'm going to enclose it.) and 4 for gifts.
  5. Clearly no one will ever read this Target.com USA is having a big sale, TLM2 sets over $30 are 50% off, City Hospital, Sandcrawler and some others are 50% off. Some random sets like Unikitty are 60% off. And the Target Bean There, Donut That is $7.50!!! I don't know how much off that is being it was $20 then $15.
  6. I'm not sure what I was expecting, I didn't expect them to be good, but damn those are creepy looking! But Angry Birds had horrible 'minifigures' and the builds were decent / good so I'm still hopeful for the sets.
  7. Clearly the answer is yes. And the USA is still probably the biggest market and LEGO having 15 police sets every year helps support the BS that all police are your friend and super duper. But Police sell more than trains, coast guard and space, otherwise we will get them every year. We haven't gotten a Farm theme in 10 years because the last one sold poorly. LEGO is greedy and wants loads of money. It's just how it is. It's why minifigures will be $5 and Disney has a 30% tax.
  8. Right now there are a few of us on Brickset pointing out that Huw was wrong and that there have been special minifigure pieces in the build a minifigure in LEGO Stores since at least last fall. Huw then fights back more and more and in nasty way. But that's LEGO people for you, mental illness is high and even higher in the LEGO community.| However I don't agree with you. LEGO Police makes money, I'm fine with it to a point because it sells and we don't take into account there are more City sets in a single year than we had LEGO sets in a single year 20-30 years ago. But they need to be different. The Prison one was different, I like the first forest police, they have cool torsos. I have medium hope for 2020, they have to be better than the sky cops. Also the City City Police normally have fun HQs.
  9. I haven't been banned from Brickiest, but they just delete all my comments now for pointing out their hypocrisy. haha Then yesterday they delete ALL the negative comments over the double points. So it's City City Police. Bleh. I was hoping for dessert police with tan outfits and some new animals. I'm amazed I have 169 posts here because most of the time I leave for 6-8 hours to go to work and when I come back there are 5 messages attacking my point of view and 35 more pages of comments that never say anything new. If you want City sets you need to buy Friends sets, but even those have been weird since the reboot.
  10. You better love all LEGO or the forces here will ban you from all the internets!!!!! Anyways, I'm not going through 8 pages of crazy, what is 2020's police theme?
  11. Minecraft, Star Wars, City Police that isn't in the City (Like the air cops), Brickheads, Speed Champs, anything based on a useless one off movie aka Angry Birds. However they don't need to end Star Wars just release sets during a new movie, or redo one movie a year. Minecraft they seem to be slowing down which is good to stretch it out. It's like when Chima was around, there were like 35 sets a year. Like LEGO is like "If we throw enough at children they will like 1-2 of the 50 sets". Just slow down. More so because the quality of the bricks and the printing has been garbage the last couple years.
  12. The set is really nice, well built, useful pieces and such great prints. Also nice to see it confirmed that LEGO just gouges certain sets because they know they can.
  13. So was Santa's workshop and that was a fun set. The tiny gingerbread set that was free is HUGELY popular. So I think a full-size one would be a hit.
  14. ^ Breaking new LEGO website isn't working. But it's a good thing that LEGO screwed up the VI system because that needed to be fixed... not.
  15. So it's confirmed that it will be a Gingerbread House.
  16. I like the sound of the arcade things.
  17. I can't explain to you how much I love this. :)
  18. I'm super busy to call, but I did send them an email. When I have time I will be calling.
  19. I was going to use my $5 towards a BnP order this week or next as I had 122 points on Monday, I got 510 points on the switch when a $5 voucher is 650 points. So I'd love to see LEGO's logic.
  20. We can debate on how well things sold, but there is no chance of Angry Birds getting more sets if LEGO has any common sense. I bought the Angry Birds Castle from Target.com THIS YEAR for 70% off. I have never seen sets from a small theme not sell as much as Angry Birds. Plus why would Lego release sets next year when the second movie comes out next month?
  21. Ghostbusters was never exclusive. Play mobile got the license, it wasn't an exclusive deal. That's how LEGO still sold the sets as Playmobile has the license too. I just don't think the line sold that great and what else would they do? They already have two versions of the Echo, that's all we need.
  22. The comments here... unreal and unshackling. It's like everyone has the same LEGO is Awesome at EVERYTHING mindset. It's cult like and sickening. I'll go to enjoying my hobby in private again. Thanks.
  23. Sadly that's no longer the case. LEGO is an elitist item, for rich children and adults. It's clear within 5 years the hobby will no longer be in my budget. Which is what is most upsetting about thing.
  24. Yes LEGO needs to address this or someone needs to speak to lawyers about ad fraud. I've had enough of LEGO prices going up and the printing of the minifigures, and now cockpits being worse than trash. But according to Brickiest I'm a troll and too negative if I'm part of the group that speaks out that not everything LEGO does is perfect.
  25. I really like the post office, is that the new coral color? Looks lovely.
