Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
Maple replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Figured. LEGO will release it when they planned on it. It's a store exclusive so it's probably not top priority however with movies being delayed they have time in their schedule to make it. I'm really excited to see more of the set as it's the biggest non station building we have gotten in City in... foever. -

I'm a Wolf guy myself. My first Castle, and largest set as a small child had the Wolfpack figure. I have no idea what happened to that set but I still have the torso somewhere. So weirdly Black Falcon means nothing to me. -

LEGO probably hasn't figured that out. The January Catalog, which I got... Saturday... has Marvel's The Eternals (I think that's what's it called, I lost the catalog.) and they are no where to be found on the website. Covid has really screwed everything up, which is actually great for non license sets. -
So I won the station on eBay as I have no desire for the train. Anyone have any idea how many PIECES are just in the station?

Yeah I think that's the one. The figures are modern but 90s classic like. The last City PD on a baseplate (I'm not counting the modular). And white bike. :) -

60047 is a great Police Station, I got it for cheap at Walmart. I always wanted the one with the white bicycle. -

That's what I like. It's not the same as the other 4 in City that all feel the same. However I feel it is the only one that really would have benefited from a fire pole. Plus $100 sets are $100. I've been trying to get it on ebay for $35, but no luck. Today it went for $40. I don't want it that bad but I think it would look good next to the last hospital. My first Fire Station was the World City $30 set. I then got a better one on clearance for cheap, probably the one after it. -

Yes. Big thank you! I've bought hundreds of figures for .50-.75 cents but sometimes they are missing hands. I'd like to fix them up at some point. D'oh! You are right. I remember talking about here that hands were being sold, but yeah all 'OOS'. Do I place my normal B&P order and then call them to ask to add 50ish hands? -

I think the hatred here for 60215 is funny as I love it and have hated pretty much all the Fire Stations in the last decade because they lacked 'soul'. I which LEGO would have made a Police Station in the style that would have connected to it and the docks. Instead we got the garbage Police Station. -

Sure thing. i had the order list on the floor. haha I don't know why that is the only torso from the set for sale. Expensive on Bricklink and when you search the set nothing comes up. When I order I search 76382 (torsos). Does anyone remember the number for hands? I need some replacements for broken / missing ones. -

6315658 I think I meant to order two of that one instead of two of the mayor. -

I did that with the hair pieces I stuck on the Monkey Kid baddies, that hair is only 13 cents. It's always why I didn't buy legs. I figured I can get those cheaper elsewhere. What's worse is I mistakenly ordered doubles of two torsos. Could have saved me $1.60. Once I put heads and legs on the minifigures and they look complete I'll feel better. I want to place another order with the easter bunnies but I've already spent $700-$750 on LEGO this year. Asian sets, Assembly Square in case it retires and I won the Disney Train Station for $105. The Blacksmith house has a few pieces, looks like 1-2 new heads and a compass. -

It cost $47. The rat hat/helmet was the most expensive piece I've bought at $3.50. I kept meaning to get the carts and forgetting so I finally grabbed three. They are surprisingly cheap and clearly will never be used again in a set. I hope they will come back in stock I want two more too. I think I placed my order on the 29th or 30th. -

Lego 90 year set voting split and throughts
Maple replied to durazno33's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
But it's sadly not considered Classic Space, it is to me because of of my first sets was the small thing with the four long skis, I only have one left. But the colors are amazing. I think it would be a great pick as a free gift with purchase for the year it takes place in. No new molds needed, just a few trans orange pieces. -

By this logic I think it's Ice Planet's turn as it's been nearly 30 years and the theme took place in 2022. :) Online voting is FAR more fair / accurate than a democratic primary and a US election. (Nice feature Eurobricks by combining my two separate quote posts into this one. I like it!) -
Your price complaint is a joke, this isn't an unbiased review. You came in thinking the new road plates were expensive and set out to 'prove' it. I can prove they aren't. City sets have never made any sense on price. 60281 is $40 and only has 212 pieces, that should be a $20-$25 set. I'm missing $20 somewhere. 60245, Monster Truck Heist is the same price as the new Modern House 60291, yet has 25 less pieces and no road plates. Last year's Police Station was $100, has 743 pieces and 7 figures. Yet 60292, Town Centre has 790 pieces, a ton of the new road plates and 9-10 figures for $100.

Is it a store exclusive? Those are always shown later. But it was already leaked, so it's not like LEGO is keeping it a secret. -

Exactly. It's mostly a very calming thing. There is a reason why during the pandemic that LEGO is even more popular. -

Jang has a video showing off how to connect and make the old work with the new. It's not 100% as the old ones are wider but it will work. And let's be honest, I think autism and ADD rates are higher in the AFOL community than the general population. I know several people who use the bigger sets, mostly modulars, to help with depression and other mental illnesses. -

I just got the underwater base and one of the best things about it is the Hammerhead! Very smart of LEGO to reuse the shark mold. -

I thought that is a $60 set? So it will be $48 at Walmart and Target. I don't want the set, but the hull adds like $20 to the price. The deep sea explorers hull sold for $30-$32 on Bricks and Pieces. I'd say $45 is a fair price for the set. It is a City set, so $48 isn't even terribly overpriced compared to the theme. -
I completely agree. I can't wait to see the model and hope it's less than $200.
