Without the use of the cloth piece I don't think the set would close correctly.- 136 replies

In that one, very select case, gendered torsos are probably fine. Besides that and maybe swim suits there is no need for hips. There are coats that could just be coats but LEGO adds hips. I just pretend that the hip part are pockets. -
Thank you for that great, well thought out, reply.

I think you are mixing up iconic and nostalgic.

Really? I don't pay attention to the Police torsos that much. Yeah that's not needed. LEGO doesn't need gendered torsos, at all, for it's non license sets. It's just silly. NO MORE HIPS LEGO! :) -

I just looked up the paramedic torsos. I agree, the older ones are better, but the new ones fit the new teal and barf yellow color scheme. Super agree with gender neutral torsos, big fan of gender neutral torsos. There is no need for gender torsos for non license sets. Just that shirt torso screams 1987-1993. It's something you would see on Full House, it's horrible. I know ugly bangy clothing is in style now but wow it's an ugly torso. However I will give LEGO credit for trying something different. Big fan on that. -
I love it. It's very modern and different. I like it even more now. The car carrier, the little electric charging station. The electric locomotive. It's colorful. I think children will be a big fan of it. Can't wait to get it in 2025 when it's on sale for super cheap. :)

The one of the right might be the ugliest shirt torso in LEGO history. -
They didn't? Feels like they did to me.

Yeah that's a Vidiyo piece so it was retired. I ended up with like 4 of that figure. It's one of my least favorite. -

I started building the moon base. Th dome pieces are really badly scratched. LEGO really needs to do something about that. But I will be requesting four new pieces and LEGO better not give me a hard time. After the last time I now request new pieces for any scratches on a set. Yeah. I think it's great that it's so different. No. I don't keep track of useless info of strangers on the internet. I just don't get why you would want a model that's the same as an old model. It makes no sense. It's not always the same, more so with City. But it's a good starting point. -
You are late to the party. This happened a week ago maybe. LEGO has no idea what's it's doing. The old system wasn't perfect, but the new one is so broken I think it's beyond repair.

Why? I like that design too, but if you want that design then buy 3677. Something new is always better to me. -

I don't think so. They are probably selling off old stock they have. I like the train engine, it's different and modern.

You can preorder a full set for $62 on eBay. It's the easiest if you want them all. I just got Series 22 for $44 shipped from a new seller.

I don't want to hear excuses. LEGO made $2 billion last year. Make a bigger room. Hire more people. EVERY other company on Earth work in shifts. There can, and should be a night shift. My dad worked in an ice cream plant, it ran 24/7. In fact if you shut it down it takes 3+ hours to do and takes even longer to start it back up. I think it was shut down three times in the last 50 years, once because it lost power. There was no need to change the old system if LEGO couldn't handle it. -

I got the moon base for 37% off, can't wait to build it. I was hoping for closer to 45% off, but I'll settle. -

Completely agree. I don't think they stuck in all 1 billion, but even half a billion is insane when LEGO has so many actual world problems they don't want to bother addressing. -

So people who were defending this F-up, what do you have to say now? Yet again another needless change by LEGO that is a huge mess. Just hire more people! -
I'm now regretting not getting a second set for $135 because this looks so good!
