So, uh . . there’s an image of a golden version of SoFS Kai? Might be fake, kinda looks fake . . also just seems like a weird choice. SoFS wasn’t a Kai season?

I think they said once that End Cities would simply be too big to make a set of. This wave has me excited! I’m really looking forward to the Warped Forest set, that’s been one of my favourite biomes since it was introduced. Also liking the Coral Reef and the Pig House! The trader set looks great too. Assuming it has an actual trader, not just the llama (though the llama’s great too).

True. We haven’t seen the figures for the catamaran but two in the dragon, one in the bike and one (leader?) in the island set. That’s only four. I’d expect two, maybe three in the catamaran, so . . six or seven? Not much, especially compared to the last couple of waves, though those had more sets too . .

Follow-up, it looks like Zane’s in the dragon set with two islanders and Kai, Cole and Jay are in the island with an islander who looks like a leader because he has what looks like a new mask piece of some kind. No sign of Nya . .

Okay now I’m excited. These all look epic! I was skeptical but I think I like the new roads way more than I expected to. Can’t wait for better pictures! -
Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Oh, seriously? That’s exciting! Now I’m hyped, if it’s a new basic suit for Spidey. The Spidey-Hideyhole is . . um . . not good. Not a fan of that suit rack design from what I can see, and we can’t even tell what the figures are. At least it’s a new Ghost Rider (mostly certain) so I’m happy for all you Reyes fans but I have no attachment to the character so I’ll skip that one. Pass on the truck, though the ghost trail part for Mysterio is great. I do like the Miles Mech too. Might actually get that one. Maybe. -
I just saw the pics and they’re great! As usual, Legacy is neat but nothing special, except for ToE Dojo - sooo looking forward to that one! As for S14, the catamarans actually look really cool! I don’t think I’ll get them, but still it’s better than I expected. The island is incredible - heh, when Ninjago does Hidden Side better than Hidden Side did, right? Absolutely getting that one. The dragon is gorgeous but I’ll wait for better pictures, still teal is definitely a plus. And another Lloyd bike, at least this one has that cool flag thing. Neat but probably a skip for me unless it has a great exclusive minifigure or something. Shame we don’t have the figure distribution yet, because I’m actually sort of worried about how the figures will be distributed in S14; obviously Kai and Lloyd, but Jay, Cole, Zane and Nya . . they usually have two or three repeats as well, and with only four sets I’m a bit worried that we might not get a full complement of ninjas, like with Prime Empire.

Fin Fang Foom would be amazing, if done well. I hope you’re right! -
Well, Overlord Dragon is a day one purchase for me, whatever that’s worth. ^^ Might even get two if it’s really good . .

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Really, it’s available in Australia? When? Source? -
Well, it just seems like we’re getting a lot of big ninja mechs. The Golden Mech, Lloyd’s Mech from 2019, it’s just . . overexposure I guess. If it turns out to be a really cool Mech then great! But odds are it’ll just be another pointless ninja vehicle. Sigh. Can we please get more location or at least villa8n vehicle sets in Legacy? They’re doing that Dojo rehash thing from a Tournament of Elements with the Elemental Masters, that sounds great!

So there’s a leaked image of a new Ninjago set that looks like some kind of Easter Island thing with a big totem pole and a cliff, and it looks like a really great accompaniment to Barracuda Bay. I haven’t got the Bay yet but I definitely want to get both of them and put them together now.

*Your entry has earned 3 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Raiders: Discoverers Discovering A Discovery We’re a small crew, us, operating out of Anoth. We jumped over to Imynusoph ‘cause we heard that a supply freighter went down and wanted to . . turn the situation to our advantage, as it were. That’s me in the middle with the stylish hood. Call me Knox. I’m a handsome fella, eh? But after days of searching the jungle, we finally found . . well, we found something alright. “What do you make of it?” I asked the group. “I, um . . don’t know,” our techie, Tarsus - that’s him with the full face mask - replied with a grimace. “But we’re not equipped to deal with this. I say we cut our losses and head back,” “Agreed,” I nodded - but a scream from the rookie alerted us. Trouble. But no fear, we can handle any - wait, are those . . red stormtroopers? The hell? Oh - bzzt.

Am I the only one looking at this island/village set and thinking, “That would make a perfect addition to Barracuda Bay,”?

I have no attachment to Sesame Street but this is a cute set and I’m always up for more named and recognisable characters in my city. It’s a definite maybe from me, budget permitting.

Seriously? I mean, I called them reusing Iron Spider, but if they’re really reusing Miles Morales’ suit as part of Spidey’s suit rack - come on, LEGO, he’s a separate character! What, is the ‘Spidey with a hat’ actually just Noir behind glass and on display? . . . oh gods that’s actually what they’ll do isn’t it . . I really hope I didn’t just jinx it. Either way I really hope this is wrong. {sighs} -

Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

If anyone hasn’t seen it, I fed the new details into a translator. After the first set with the anti-hero Ghost Rider was released in 2016, LEGO has now brought us the second model around the hell biker. Instead of the motorcycle the Ghost Rider usually rides on, this set will apparently contain his black Dodge Charger. (Update from September 30th) It is now clear which minifigures are included in the set: In addition to the Ghost Rider, you get Spider-Man and his rival Carnage. 76174 Spider-Man Monster Truck With this title, you actually know exactly what to expect: Spider-Man with a monster truck. (Update from September 30th) And so it happens. Spider-Man sits behind the wheel of a heavy, covered vehicle complete with a projectile for a net, which is a brand new item. His opponents are Mysterio, a few drones and Doc Ock, who LEGO has given a different hairpiece for the first time and whose gripping arms are more complex than ever. Spider-Man is supported by Spider-Gwen on a purple skateboard. 76175 Spider-Man Hideout Here, however, one can speculate a little more. Because Spider-Man, unlike Batman or the Avengers, has no real base, it will be interesting to see what LEGO thinks up with such a set. In 2015, the Danes released a 4+ set with the same name, but it really took a child's imagination to realize that this was supposed to be a secret hiding place. Now things could turn out differently: With a price of € 69.99, it is the most expensive set among the new releases and should therefore be a bit more detailed. (Update from September 30th) The hero in red never had a Spider's cave, but that's exactly what LEGO has developed here as a set: remembered with three costumes stored behind glass, a repair station for a motorcycle and a prison cell the base is very reminiscent of Batman's famous secret hiding place. However, the set also comes with a range of funny, playful details: In addition to a skateboard, we also find a video game controller, a dumbbell and a basketball hoop with a catapult in Spider-Man's lair. Whether the friendly spider from the neighborhood has time to have fun with it remains uncertain: Green Goblin on a glider and Venom attack in the set. The three costumes mentioned above are included as additional minifigures: denim jacket Spiderman with a hat, a black outfit and one with a gold spider logo. - Okay, I’m excited for the Spidey-Hideyhole now. Three new suits? Epic! I’m gonna be able to build a really great suit display now! Even if I did miss my earlier guess about them reusing Iron Spider. Shame about the villains, though. That said, it would be nice if this was a reissue of the 2018 Green Goblin, I didn’t get that but I have to admit that was a pretty nice figure with the dual moulding. The other two are probably passes, since I still have the 2016 Ghost Rider and aren’t very attached to him as a character - unless the Dodge Charger is a really cool build, at any rate, but I doubt it. -

Ah. I see. That makes me feel a little bit better about this, then. Hoping for a Red Guardian polybag then. It’s one thing to have exclusive legs in a $30 set, quite another to have a head that’s otherwise only in a $250 D2C. (I know, B&P, but for those of us in Australia it’s just not practical unless you’re making a huuuuuuge order.) -

Four, plus stickers. (Three if Red Guardian has unprinted legs.) Also, Monica Rambeau’s head from that set is still exclusive and has not yet been reused. -

They . . um . . they . . um . . seriously LEGO? Awesome white suit Widow, Red Guardian, and exclusive shields for Guardian and Taskmaster both? Damnit I almost want this more than the Silver Centurion polybag! And I’ll never get it . . Okay, there’s a slim chance of a polybag being released that contains both these figures and, if the shield piece is a print maybe that too, so I’m gonna try not to give up hope yet. But just . . why, LEGO, why? . . With all the BE delays there’s no way they’re actually making a new BW retail set right? -

I concur, they already made that exclusive head mould. I don’t see them redoing it as long as that mould is in use - granted they made a new Dilophosaurus, but that was a four-year gap between iterations and the old Dilo head (for the raptor body) was probably retired already by then. And a Carnotaurus would probably need a bunch of new moulds, not just one body and one jaw . . though if they did make a new body for medium-sized carnivores I admittedly could see them just making a new head for the Carno, provided the body and limbs already existed.
