  1. A most beautiful building! Great styling on the façade and overall layout of the whole structure! Looking forward to the next issue of the KPA as well!
  2. Thank you! This is my first attempt at one in real bricks, but I like the way that it turned out!
  3. Thank you! I tired a new idea for the tumblehome look and yes, it is predominantly SNOT work. Glad that you like it!

  5. The Quinnsville Chronicler - Volume 3, Issue 2 - December 619 From the desk of Mayor Richard Brickford. Foreign Power Attacks New Corrish Settlement of Spudkirk - Word has reached Quinnsville that the fledging settlement of Spudkirk has been attacked by members of the Loti Kingdom without provocation and plundered the settlements limited supplies. Although this will no doubt lead to a show of force by Corrington, it is uncertain whether or not this will have major repercussions for the perpetrators or not, but as far as Quinnsville is concerned, any Loti ship sailing near Quinnsville will be fired upon by the mighty Fort Annetta until instructed otherwise. To assist with the bolstering of defenses in Spudkirk, the Corrington Marines stationed there have constructed a forward gun outpost, so that hopefully this situation may never repeat itself in the future. Queen's Birthday Parade Huge Success - The recent jubilant celebrations of the Queens Birthday has been met with great reception all around the Corrish Isles. In our own Quinnsville, a new arch into the city was constructed just for the occasion! Multiple settlements across the Brick Seas also joined in on the fun and displayed their Corrish Pride in honor of the Queen! Quinnsville Shipping News - The shipyards of Quinnsville have been quite busy over the end of summer and early fall with multiple vessel having been constructed. Three ships have been built with the intention of bolstering the ranks of the Royal Navy based in nearby King's Harbour. A gunboat design has passed the naval review board's testing and been admitted into service along with a speedy 6-gun cutter. However, we in Quinnsville are still awaiting the word of approval on the Post-Ship HMS Black Panther. Finishing up the Shipping report is the arrival of a large merchant Xebec from the Corrington Mainland that has decided to call Quinnsville it's new home port. Saltpeter Production Reaching New Heights - The new opened saltpeter mine in Quinnsville is now fully operation thanks to the generous help of the Wayfarer Trading Company based out of Mesabi Landing. Within a few months time Quinnsville is expected to start exporting the rare mineral throughout the brick seas for the purpose of creating gunpowder and assisting in the new found delicate art of ice transportation. If you want to reserve your own stock, we are excepting delivery for orders in early 620! Largest University in New World Opened in Quinnsville - After several years of development and the hard work of countless minifigs, Quinnsville is the home of one of the largest universities of science and the arts in the new world. Many fine individuals will receive their diplomas and go on to be influential citizens in settlements throughout the Brick Seas. The Quinnsville Cannonade Join this Years Brick Seas Soccer Cup - Hosted in Mesabi Landing, the Brick Seas Soccer Cup is one of the most highly anticipated events in the New World. However, I have to regrettably inform my readers that Quinnsville has had a poor showing thus far. While the games have been fierce and hard fought, the Cannonade is yet to score a victory going 0-for-2 in it's first two matches in the tournament. Though we stand defeat at the moment, we may still rise and be crowned champions at the years end by working hard and pushing forward! We will keep you informed as to how the Cannonade is doing in future games! Free land to Artisans looking to expand their craft - As mayor of Quinnsville I am currently offering free land plots to any citizen of any nation looking to set up a factory or artisan in Quinnsville. I, the mayor of Quinnsville, will personally reimburse the purchase price with a bonus from my personal funds to anyone who does so. This offer stands until the next issue of the Quinnsville Chronicler is released. We thank you for choosing to reading this addition of Cocovia's number one news source. ------------------------------------------------------------- Lots to recap since the last addition of the Chronicler had been released! Thanks for reading and hopefully you enjoyed it!
  6. Congrats on the win! Disappointed my team is going 0 for 2 though... Hopefully they can get their act together or a new roster may be in store next year!
  7. Simply Superb! Your builds never cease to impress me. The asymmetrical building with the fantastic brick texturing is very well executed. And the furnished courtyard is a nice added bonus! Minifig posing can be tiresome in digital builds, so great job on that as well! A from me as a apprentice reviewer!
  8. Another great commentary by you @Darnok! Quite the interesting game as well. Shame that the Cannonade wasn't able to pull off a victory in it's first match, but at least the team is solid!
  9. Another great addition of the WTCM! I guess it must have been after Mayor Brickford's bedtime when all that liquor got swiped! The local garrison will surely be on the hunt for the perpetrator! IC, I'll have to work on getting the next issue of the Chronicler out soon! So many great developments in the brick seas these past months!
  10. Quite an Exciting and riveting first match! Great story telling throughout the whole match, most enjoyable!
  11. Thank you! Ah, I see! Yes that is an easy enough fix. I try and get it updated before the first match.
  12. The Quinnsville Cannonade has reached Mesabi Landing
  13. The Quinnsville Cannonade Introducing the Quinnsville Cannonade! The very best athletes that Cocovia has to offer will face off against the best (or worst depending on who you ask) soccer teams in the Brick Seas in less than one week in Mesabi Landing. While some may say that a few of the gents look a little rough around the edges, they are simply prepared for what tricks the other teams may try and throw their way. Their coach, Thaddeus White has been playing soccer since before the Juniper War and knows his stuff quite well so his team is well rounded throughout the field. SS 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr As being the teams first attendance in the National Tournament, Mayor Brickford of Quinnsville has taken it upon himself to donate the construction of a new proper soccer field for use in this year's games. Maybe it will help his teams chances with the referees? SS 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Team Stats: Attack: 3 Midfield: 3 Defense: 3
  14. Another rag tag group of scallywags come to challenge the Brick Seas finest! Win or be burned at the stake, quite the motivation the Padre has got there!
  15. Nice intro, but the real star of the show for me is that market place and the attached storyline!
  16. A good use of all those original heads! Looking forward to going up against your team in the Tournament!
  17. Beautiful ship! I always like seeing big builds like this executed well. I quite like the color scheme as well. The blue, red, and yellow work nice with the tan.
  18. I know that Darnok has done this in the past and I recently started one, though I haven't done much with it yet...
  19. I think Quinnsville will join this years Tournament! I already have some great ideas!
  20. A fine ship executed beautifully! Makes me want to try one myself! Hopefully she lasts longer than the Last one!
  21. I nice little house! The vibrant colors work well and I like the tower!
  22. This one is so cool! I really like the wooden texturing and the angles make more than just a square box. If only there could be 3 more corners!
  23. I true beauty! Such scale and detail! Fantastic work @Maxim I
  24. Thanks! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Glad you like the rigging as well, that's a new thing for me.
