Awesome! This is just awesome! I picked up the Winter VIllage Cottage last week with the intent of making a large Winter Village display this Christmas. This just blows my plans away. Well done.

Usually by spending $75+. I hope to hit the LEGO store today to get the Winter Village set, and check out the PaB wall.

Very nice! Love the blades on the windmill. And some excellent tree techniques. If you have access to Photoshop, or something similar, you can try raising the brightness, and lowering the contrast to bring out some more detail in your photos. They are a little dark. I assume from the flash on your camera.

I too, was a brick chewer in my youth. Whenever I was building, I had a mouthful of LEGO. And who needed a brick separator when you had teeth? :-) Funny. It's like you stole my collection. I think I had every set you posted!

Wow! Look at all those colors! I can't wait to get a hold of that olive green boat looking set.

In-cred-ible. Awesome build. LOVE those trees!

Very cute. Where'd you get the maxi-minifig?

I have an opened, not quite complete, 6985 Cosmic Fleet Voyager for sale. Set includes box and original instructions. The set can be found in my Bricklink shop here. I am asking $225 for it, but will listen to offers. Here are a couple of pictures: More images and details can be found in my A LEGO A Day Shop.

Very nice! I love the colors. They seem so rich! Are the two factions meeting on the road friends or foes?

Wow. Great models. Really like that tank! Is it your design? I do feel the base is a little small too have objects of this scale battling. I'd like to see more space between them. And I LOVE the guy flying through the air from the blast.

This really is a beautiful model. The attention to detail is outstanding. The things like the cart tracks are very clever, and well thought out. Excellent job. Thanks for sharing!

The it wasn't a purchase, I picked up the Slave 1 mini polybag at LEGO KidsFest this weekend.

Report button seems to have removed it.

Impressive! Really liking this updated look. Where are those brown legs from?

I watched the last installment of Underworld. Awakening I believe. Terrible. Awful. Not even Kate Beckinsale in skin tight leather made this worth the time.

Couldn't resist the Death Star at $335 with free shipping. Can't wait to build this thing. it should provide lots of good photo opportunities!

Discontinuation of “Grab Bags” in LEGO Brand Retail

Total bummer. Last time I bought a bunch of these, I got the better part of a Maersk train in them. Awesome part selection for an awesome price. These will be sorely missed by this AFOL. -
Not today, but Friday I finally ordered the Death Star. Couldn't pass up the price!
-
Great idea! I love that you're revisiting an older theme, and updating it with current part selections, yet staying true to the original color scheme. Brilliant concept.

That's the most beautiful "hastily" constructed wall I've seen. All workers should take such pride in their work!

Sorry. I build for me. If people like what I build, that's awesome. I don't need anyone's acceptance. It's nice to have, but not why I build. Very much speaking from personal experience with my kids. I do find their interactions fascinating. "Fight" might have been a strong word. They (almost) never get physical. More of the if-you-don't-do-it-my-way-I'm-taking-my-ball-and-going-home kind of fighting. Just have to say, that is a gorgeous truck!

It makes me sad that some people need rules for everything to be comfortable. It's sad that they have to be so rigid all the time. Watch children when they play. They get together, and just start playing. They play with what they have on hand. Maybe it's Lego. Maybe it's a ball. Maybe it's just them. They just start playing alike. They have fun. Inevitably, the one one kid starts introducing rules. "No, you can't go over there." "No, it can't touch the ground." Simple at first, and might even make the game better. More challenging. Then they add more rules. "You can only touch it with your left hand." "It can't touch the ground, or you're out." This continues to progress. Sound kids start to grumble about it. Soon, the play has ended with fighting and such. It got too rigid. Just have fun with whatever you do. If you have your own rules, that's great. Why should everyone else have to follow them. Lighten up, Francis.

Interesting... Space Marines vs. aliens. Sounds like Starship Troopers!
