  1. Oh.My.God. I'm so sorry, I forgot how big the one in the movie was.If it was 1:1 scale, it would be close to 100k bricks!Maybe even more!
  2. How about transferring power from new half to old half through use of a friction clutch? There could be a wheel inside the old half with power coming to it from new half and another wheel say 2 studs in front of it, attached to powertrain of old half. When the new half moves 2 studs forward, the two wheels mesh and the old half moves. I'm not sure if this makes sense but it could work...
  3. It looks nice, although the headlights look a little too close to each other
  4. Wow this looks absolutely stunning! Is it 1:1 scale to the movie?
  5. oh my god i feel so stupid now sorry! fixed.
  6. Wow that makes much more sense although the headlights seem a bit different
  7. It looks quite nice, although i think the front is a bit too square and the wheelarches too.... also the wheels appear to be off-scale to me
  8. 42054 has been getting a lot of love in the C-modelling department after its launch, and im pretty sure its one of the best 2h 2016 sets!
  9. Umm.. I was saying that what I said was flawed logic.. But you bring out some really nice points here! A company always has to compete with knockoffs, which is really sad and yes, about 80% of people dont really care about what they are buying. I guess sometimes you cant help it as most people just buy it as a past time and are not keen on it but it really hurts the market for those who care, like you said. I have never bought used as where I live there is either nobody selling used or the used is so obscenely expensive that no one can afford it, so I cant really relate to what you said :-( But it does make sense, considering that a lot of sellers these days are not truthful and in a money-minded society like we have, no one can help it
  10. It depends on the person you are.. If you wanna support the company and stay true to the spirit, you buy the real deal.if you wanna have a nice time, you can buy whatever you want. Its a bit of a flawed logic considering knockoffs are generally bad towards a company, but with something like lego, sometimes the price is too high..
  11. I am pretty sure the only sets that skyrocket in value are those that people loved, were justifiably priced at the start and were good enough to be flagships or were flagships themselves. Eg- 8880, 8258(from what I've heard),and probably 42069 soon..
  12. Needs moar weapons! Moar is always better! But otherwise a great build
  13. Makes sense, considering this is pretty much the opinion of all people
  14. Yeah, who wants a topic with promises but no proof?
  15. Oh well then, this will be an interesting build!
  16. You have instructions for it or am I missing something?
  17. I think the parts count will be exaggerated by the number of pins and axles used But still the amount of lift arms used here is staggering
  18. Wooww that's so heavy! It's heavier than Lucio Switch's Fire tender! That's just mental right there
  19. I can't even imagine the skills needed to build at such a tiny scale!Marvelous!
  20. I'm not sure too many will be able to build this behemoth It's so well built, but yes the gearbox should change
  21. I personally think the chassis should always be towards the grey spectrum, I find it most appealing
  22. Woah this is epic at this scale ! I wanna see the end result seeing your previous MOCs If technic makes it tough to make interior, use system. Its a lifesaver :D
  23. Oh. Well I'm a noob at this, I make manual... I thought xls has enough torque...
