Yeah, me, I'm probably: creativity 9/10 experience 5/10 (Lego for 8 years, mocs for 3, good mocs for 8 months) collection of parts 5/10 (25K parts) money to buy more parts 4/10 I'm pretty much a kid, who has been doing mocs for 8 months. I'm in the middle of a 3K, 67cm tall 26x26 studs, fantasy, dark lords tower. This will be my biggest project yet but I really wanna do something from Star Wars for this winter. I'll probably wait for ep 8 to come out and maybe do something from that. Good Idea but already been done :( Again all these have been done :( People build things fast!

[HELP] What should I include when selling instructions?
MovieMocs replied to MovieMocs's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks so much! I just posted my instructions of my smaug head. I made sure to be no expensive parts and posted the parts list on my ad and on rebrickable. It's the hobbit/lotr so I'm hoping the market is big enough for that. I also gave away some free instructions yesterday for a microscale Aircraft carrier. I'm just starting out with the whole instructions thing so well see how it goes :)- 6 replies

That is true but I'm gonna do something so I'd better start getting creative :) It doesn't have to be a ship you know. It can be a place, character, land vehicle...water vehicle...

I just don't like it. The parts aren't great. Red in technic just doesn't work for me. I just don't think those two things go together. I'm also a huge fan of power functions and I know it's "Upgradable" but the initial set being "Power Functionsless" is kind of a let down. As far as the whole airport rescue thing, it's not ment for Lego. They tried it in 2003, not a great plan. http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/lego/images/d/de/8454_Rescue_Truck.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090917230456 Now, take a look at this baby. While really big and probably a 5K+ part count, this guy made the whole "Technic airport firetruck" work. This is a cool moc, also, it sprays water:) Lego Technic Airport Crash Tender by Lucio Switch, on Flickr

Now that is a cool MOC :)

That's probably my #2 right now for UCS projects. It's a great ship :)
-
The bike wouldn't be a very good UCS model and the ship has already been done :(
-
A technic one has been done by Lego

Cool, I wish there was a good tutorial on YT...

REVIEW: LEGO Star Wars Final Duel II (2002)! Set 7201
MovieMocs replied to QwikBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This was a quality set for the figs. and the doorway :) -
Great ideas! Speed bike is done, desert skift is done, tie bomber is done, cloud car is done but not very well so I could maybe do a better version of that. Cloud city would be a great moc but not UCS and already done on Lego ideas. The sail barge is already 1K parts+ so a ucs would be tricky...maybe though...Again love the ideas. I'm sorry the Starspeeder 1000 is just ugly. Sorry to be so blunt but it is. That sounds pretty awesome, it could be the same scale as the UCS Shuttle tydirium. um...no comment...
-
That's been done many times :(
-
Yeah...ok. It's a good moc, I just would have posted it after the movie came out so more people recognize it. I hardly recognized it from the trailer. Maybe post it again after Justice League comes out:)
-
@GrahamSlam @NathanR @All in the Reflexes @TemjinStrife @Dragunov2 Thanks for the input guys:) I know there's already an A-wing (I was gonna do that) I was also considering the grevious bike wheel that fit the ucs grevious but...wow...that would be like..80 cm tall and about 8K parts...I don't have that kinda money though I challenge someone else to do it:) I'm looking to build something that is fairly iconic but no ones built yet. I don't really want to get into the EU or old republic or even clone wars (There really were not many good new ships in the CW anyway) Thanks again for the ideas. I might do a grevious bike that's still UCS but not fit to the UCS figure.

It's cool, but the movie isn't even out yet!!
-
DUDE! You need to give me the part number or bricklink page for those chrome plated pistons/hydraulics there so cool!! I love the whole moc! and also guess what...I like trains.
-
Wow that color scheme is intense but awesome! I love the chrome plated hydraulics...actually I love chrome plated anything, who doesn't? Great moc, like always

Hey guys, I'm looking to start a UCS scale star wars project but I don't know what to build? I've looked and almost all the ships, vehicles...anything, has already been done either as a Moc or an official Lego set. I'm planning to make instructions for this once I'm finished and sell them for quite cheap (Probably around $5 CAN) so if anyone can give me an idea that I end up doing, when I have the instructions I can give them to you for free. I just need some help finding the perfect Star Wars "Thing" to UCS. (Sorry, I'm using UCS as a verb...rip) Thanks!
