Thanks. I'm rather partial to the tophat myself. I think it looks quite smashing:
I've always loved the monacle, but this Lego face should not be mistaken for Col. Clink:
I did too. Definately not a traitor. I have far more Lego than Playmobil, but as you've mentioned, I like them both as well. It's just that I've been building a Playmobil Western diorama lately for a new Web Page. Playmobil is fresh in my head until these new 2007 Lego sets start showing up.
And how does that relate to this thread?
You have a point, but the lion is a very common image for castle themes, as well as griffins and other symbols. I always thought Lego was the copier, but you never know.
Very nice review D. The ship is actually better than I thought. I didn't realize it had a mast. Also, the sub is pritty slick. Seems a bit heavy on the stickers, but aside from that not bad. The set has some nice accessories as well.
Thanks for taking the time to review this set. I still haven't ordered one from SAH, but will have to soon.

Your guess is as good as mine, but usually cost drives a lot of these types of decisions.
On a side not IS, I love your signature graphic. Very nice. Sounds like the prelude of a story?
Old Brickster?
As I grow OLD, I realize that all things repeat. I believe that through the efforts of AFOL and the popularity of pirates with children, in movies/media, Lego has to jump back on this theme. It will happen, it's just a matter of when. A Legoland pirate ride is also a nice sign from Davy Jone's Locker.
I've been wanting Lego to produce a lighthouse for years (not counting the pink Paradisia set). I'm glad to see one part of the SB collection. It doesn't look too bad, and the door can always be swapped out for the real thing.
