Stalins glorious fridge. Haha! -
I wish lego made the axle hole + stud hole parts thicker so the axle wouldn't break the part around it. I know it has the thin part so a gear can fit to spin. But this part is used so much on areas without gears needing to fit so it would be nice to have two kinds of this part.

On page 20, you're supposed to put the steering rack right up against the L motor. Where should the L motor wire be routed from? Behind the round tube pin connector? -

It's so good that it doesn't look like lego! Outstanding work! -

I'm midway building it and waiting for parts.. But i kinda agree on the rear suspension part.. The spring twists sideways a great deal. Improvement would have been to rotate the spring 90 degrees so it's facing backwards instead of sideways. I might test it out if it works by using the pin with hole part. -
Not only you get a physical copy of the instructions for a model you've paid for. But some people have their lego workstation in a different room than their PC.. Reading instructions off from a phone is tedious. Also you can build your lego while the power is out. If you ask me, lego should not change to digital instructions.

Has anyone made this chassis with old hubs + old CV joints and front AND rear steering? On page 4 @ozacek posted the complete PF old parts compatible chassis.. I wonder if the rear could be made to steer? -

Another option is to cut the wire and solder a PF connector to it for buwizz use. I bet the chinese counterfeit motors will have an option to have it on control+ or pf connector. I personally like the PF connector more. It's more "lego-y". The new control+ connectors kind of look like internet cables..

How do you upload the parts list to bricklink? EDIT: You need to use classic mode.. Got it working! EDIT2: Interesting.. I compared the same wishlist on the parts i'm missing. I could get the same parts over 50€ cheaper trough brickowl than i would have from bricklink. Still need 150-200€ of parts to complete the set. Hope the instructions won't be too expensive. -

Awesome! Uploaded it into brickowl. Now it'll take some time to check my rebrickable and see which parts i already have.. Wish rebrickable had an option to check part lists and show what i already have. But i guess once you publish it on rebrickable, it'll be possible. But i'm impatient :D One thing i'd add to the dump truck would be two of those red oil barrels on the deck like the real ones have when in use. -
42100 QA Issues
Mechbuilds replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
To me, it's really not even an issue. Nobody cares what color it is. It's hidden anyways. As long as it works, and it's hidden then the color is irrelevant if it were bright pink. What issue i have is the fact that the metal part was corroded.. Do they have quality control at all? It should not even be a thing. What happened to TLG's motto of "only the best is good enough"? -

Unless the pully wheels got a new tolerance modification or the axle is thicker nowadays but.. I built the same exact thing out of my 42055 parts and had no issue taking the axle out with my fingernails. Sure it's tight but manageable with a little bit of force.. But not fingernail breaking force. -

Hmm.. Well you could put a flathead screwdriver or something similar between the axle and the pin and just wiggle it loose enough. -

1. Lego should replace that. 2. Lego should replace that as well. 3. That's pretty sloppy design by lego. I agree. The cross pin would actually add to the structural integrity. 4. That's not true. You can twist the pin hole pin and push the axle out with another axle from the other side. 5. Shitty design by lego. They should have fixed the issue and tested it. -

When will the instructions be released on rebrickable? The parts list there is amazing cause you can just check what parts you're missing and order everything at once.
