Nice build! I like the wooden frame and the red roof.

That ship is a huge, and you've managed to give her a demountable superstructure, good job! As usual, I like your custom hull and the color combination. And if I may suggest, I think you could try to make the hull more curvy, now, the hull is quite straight, some curves would be nice. As for the classification, I agree that she should be a class 6. I understand you might wish to put her in the class 7, since she has 5 midsections, but a class 7 ship usually refers to twodeckers or large frigates with 6 midsections. Historically, they should be fourth rate warships and fifth rate large frigate.

[COR-FB-Class 5 Ship] Brig "RSND Dolphin"
Bodi replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Your xebecs are well built but this is even better! I like the tumblehome and the details on the stern, and the railings. The sails and rigging look great too,- 13 replies

Bodi replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
It's a good looking chebec, I like how you've built the hull with slopes and arches, the colour scheme is nice and she's richely docorated with a lot of golden ornaments, good job.- 4 replies

[COR-FB-Class 7 Ship] Quinnsville Shipyard Contract
Bodi replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's a nice looking frigate, with lots of nice details. I also think it should be a single deck ship, and class 7 is somewhat overrated, isn't it?- 10 replies

[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa
Bodi replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Elostirion Thank you! Glad you like our builds. -
Sorry, your story is perfectly understanble, it was me who has used a wrong adjective, I wanted to say "a more compassionate hostess", after all, life has never been easy for subaltern officers.

Looks great! Nice job.

Amusing story, the small island is well built, so do the sea waves, nice photos too, I especially like the one showing the charge of WTC marines... to the rum.

@Maxim I I really admire the effort and time you put on the rigging, the result is very convincing. I'm glad too that you've find a compromise for that gunport. -
Nice little ship!. Grey and brown worked surprisingly well, you made me wanting to try the same with small hulls. I think you did a good job on giving her a quite unique style, with all these golden ornaments. And the figurehead is awesome!

[TSotEP] 1 - In a Corry Tavern
Bodi replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Lady de Winter is back! Wonderful. The tavern scene is very well built, full of details, I especially like the beer. And the dock is even better, I like these little house and the quay is huge! -
Great writing, I really enjoyed the reading, I just hope Capt. Antony could find a more comprehensible hostess. And as Elos said, cool wall technique!

@Legostone Thank you for the explanation, in fact these captures are very welcome, they will allow me to build more ships, without asking constantly a loan. @Capt Wolf We surely don't want him to escape so easily, no, sir.

@Elostirion A very promising start, you are building a colossus here! Bart and Legostone have made some good points and all I can add is to wish you good luck, but you'll probably don't need it, you surely know your stuff. @LM71Blackbird Looking good, I like its color scheme and I like the large slope pieces you used on the hull, I'm trying to build a custom hull with these pieces, about the same way you did here. @Legostone The expert has struck again, I'm absolutely a fan of that bow, is it a frigate you are building? @Mesabi Nice attempt with the modern hull piece, by jugding your pic, I think it would look better if you could add something behind the stern, to make it look less square, thus less modern-ish. -
Congrats on the year. As usual, I like your story and the classic building style, and I appreciate the details you've included to give the barrack an Oleandish look, and I even like your caricatural interpretation of Oleander soldiers, very Corrish.

[COR] Lawliet's house - Small residence
Bodi replied to Flavius Gratian's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's a very nice looking residence, yellow and brown work well together, and your effort on the porch and balcony turned out to be rewarding. -
Wow, that's a proper cutter! I like all the stud techniques you used here, especially the bow, I may steal it someday, and the dynamic posture is really cool.
-
A busy shipyard you got here, Blackbird. The ship frame and dock facilities look very convincing.

Bodi replied to Roadmonkeytj's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice raft! I like the details you included in it, such as the rigging and the rudder. -
Great writing Captain Wolf, nice job! We've captured a pirate! Yeah, can't we just hang him? If I understand correctly, these captured ships represent free licenses, and I have now 4 of them, one class 5, one class 4 and two class 3 and I remember I still have a free class 2 unmocced earned from recent MRCAs.

@Bart Looks very promising so far, I'm liking the bow and the masts. The green roof amidship, is it a cargo hatch? I've seen that on many shipmodels, it looks like some sort of hut.
