  1. A young officer aboard of a newly commissioned ship decided to buy some fruits from the market, because he was told that fruits can keep him in good health during long distance travel. A small build to increase Oleon's shiplimit.
  2. It's reassuring to see all these moustaches, symbols of experience and devotion. The eagle looks really good.
  3. May Commander Ragnarrson finds his fortune in the bricks seas, looking at all these supplies and arms, he's on a promising path.
  4. It's a cozy place you are presenting here, making me wanting to spend a few dbs there. Nice job, Fraunces.
  5. Welcome, comrade. Nice intro, I like the torso you are using for your character.
  6. Somewhere in Nola Mar, the loyalists gathered in an old fort received the visit of a small group of foreigner, though wearing civilian clothes, they were betrayed by their manners. The commandant of the loyalists, a former Mardierian officer, was pleased to find hiscounterparts among the visitors. The volunteers forming the rank of these loyalists were unaware of the content of the conversation between their officers with these foreigners, but when the later ones came back a few day later, they didn't come empty handed. When arms, ammunations and provisions were delivered to their hideout, they knew they were going to walk out from the clandestinity.
  7. After several days spent in a residence, or should we say a place of incarceration, Sir Cooke began to grow impatient. It was a mansion situated near a bridge, Sir Cooke didn't know if this arrangement was intentional, since it was the same bridge he was hidden in when he firstly landed in Nola Mar. Nevertheless this arrangement had the only effect to aggravate his bad temper. Even the finest Oleander Terraversan wine wasn't good enough to consolate him. Today, the man guarding him was a former Mardierian, a veteran of colonial war, he was wearing proudly the plastron of his old regiment, this together with the morion, gives him an archaic look, contrasting with the lastest model of musket in his hands. @Bregir This build is not intended to affect on the outcome of Cooke's situation, it's just for fun.
  8. Yes, she's a motivated one, and that letter had nothing to do with certain rumoured relationship.
  9. Thank you guys for commenting my build again.
  10. The two story house looks really good, and I like these furnitures. The officer coat fits perfectly, congratz. The street scene featuring the Legionnaires looks good too.
  11. Great use of cups and other golden pieces, the pillars look too, a very nice build. You mean pirate and imperials alike, I see a strong competitor to the the Jose's chain here.
  12. The men playing aggressors wear redcoats as a tradition. The advantage with obsolote weapons like axe and matchlock is we won't need to spend extra to time to let them to get familiarized with newer ones, in others words, they are readily available and can be sent to combat at anytime.
  13. The mission of OL's pioneers is to open a breach in ennemy's defense, cleaning the obstacles for the assault troops, a dangerous job, reserved to the brave of the braves. That's why the pioneers were generally composed of veterans, or as we can see here, indigenous soldiers from a warrior-tribe. On the training ground, a sergeant-instructor is teaching them how to deal with a fortification. These indigenous soldiers are bloodthirsty warriors, they were reputed to rush the ennemy's line like a storm, but relentless charge wasn't always the answer to every problem. As they rushed altogether to the ditch, they were stopped by the fence and completely exposed. "Alrighty, regroup, let's try another tactic. Chef, you don't need to go that forward, stay behind and cover them at a distance. And you can forget about the axe, you won't have enough time, one of you should sacrifice himself to let the others approach the wall, is it understood?" Said the sergeant. "Ah, much better." Exclaimed a merrier instructor.
  14. Glad you like it, guys. Ouch, that's a serious accusation, but I think we could find its origin in Duchesse's personal taste.
  15. Emmm, Oleon is called the Kingdom of Light for some reason, let's hope this light doesn't come from a burning stake. Non sense, we are bound by a brotherhood forged in internal conspiracies. Lord Calida is far away from home now, his brothers would be glad to take over care of his possessions for him.
  16. All these speculations about burning stake are fun to read, it's true that the Order has strong influence inside the kingdom, but don't forget we've a Royal Armoury in Astrapi, and a military academy, meaning the balance of power would be in favour of science and enlightenment.
  17. Duchesse de Courteville, for unknown reason, has always been an enthusiastic supporter of Oleon's navy. Amongst her contributions, we could quote the supervising role she played in the construction of a military academy in Astrapi a couple of years ago. Concerned with the well-being of the brave seamen, she allocated a fund to expand the harbour facilities. Here's Madame de Courteville asking Mlle. de Valois to deliver a letter for her. This build is intended to increase my ship limit.
  18. I bought this set on the first days but it turned out that it's my son who's the happy landlord of the barracuda bay. I'll see if I could buy another one when the price drops a bit. The set has been assembled for while, though something seems to be wrong with it, I don't why.
  19. I echo with the others, the beach looks good.
  20. What a massacre and it's brutal, with all these head pieces lying around. Apart the fact they were ambushed, the reason of this one-sided slaughter would be wrong place selection for the Lotii, they should never have paraded in places other than a certain square. Nice build, the rockwork looks good.
  21. The tower looks good and I like the paved baseplate, I also like the use of halbard and shields, giving the build a more medieval-ish feel, inquisition in perspective.
  22. @Thomas Waagenaar Welcome aboard, you are in the right faction. Interesting introductory story and nice build, can't wait to see the rest of her advanture. You've been added to our faction pm, I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.
  23. Nice build, especially the scene depicting the loading of the mortar.
  24. Looking good, I like the tumblehome, the hull shape, the overall colour scheme, and the absence of that blocky stern castle commonly seen on lego ships. As improvement, I think you could get ride of that upper part to have a smoother transition from tumblehome to bow, since you already using hinges on top of that piece, you may continue all the way down, until you reach the lower prefab piece, this should allow us to have more liberty in colour combination, especially when smaller ships.
  25. Finally posted! The brick built bow looks really good, slope bricks worked well here, nice interior too, the introducing text is very well written too, and good work with the sails and rigging, and those flags.
