  1. What happened last week? The most notable news was Corrington declared war on Oleon last week.
  2. @Ayrlego @Bregir A letter from your Olean counterparts, in response to your declaration of war. To: Her majesty Queen Annetta His Most Holy Majesty, King Philip the First, by the Grace of the Gods, King of Oleon and Guelph, Protector of New Terra, the True Defender of the Faith and so forth, hereby directs the Duc de Boussac and the Duc de Vele to acknowledge the receipt of the letter dated the 31 october 620, sent by your consul in Terra Nova on your behalf. According to that letter, our colonial squadron has refused passage to a squadron of Royal Navy in the waters of Nola Mar, which was used as a pretext to declare war on our glorious Kingdom of Oleon. Whilst we aren't obliged to explain the reason of this reaction, we are still willing to share with you our point of view on this matter. First, our officers leading the interception have observed strictly the code of engagement and refrained from ordering to fire at your ships, despite their aggressive postures. Second, knowing there was a naval blockade around Terra Versa, we can't help wondering what was the true motive behind these uninvited guests and the cause of their reckless visit to Nola Mar, a town freed from the oppression of a so-called,self-promoted Archduke. Now Nola Mar is in the hands of the loyalists, who were wrongly described as rebels. In fact, the only traitor is the one who has usurpated the power on this island and placed himself on the top of the people of Terra Versa by manipulation and lie. It is for this reason that our soldiers were sent there, to help those who remained loyal to their true lord to gain the recognition they deserve. we believe, your majesty, as a lieutenant of the gods and defender of the monarchy, should understand the reason of our intervention better than anyone. We urge you to cease any act of hostility against the kingdom of Oleon and revoke your support to that treacherous Archduke and his lackeys. Serviteurs du Roi, Duc de Vele et Pair d’Oleon, Intendant Général des Finances, Duc de Boussac, Secrétaire d’État des Colonies.
  3. Nice minifigs, I'm a fan of these classic torsos. The buildings look good, I like the variation of colours.
  4. Wait a minute, this is a micro! The log cabin looks very good, both externally and internally, and you did a good recreating this vibrant daily life scene described in the text.
  5. A very nice looking one, the colour combination works out just fine, with light grey and dark grey as main colour, accentuated with red, yellow and green. The tower itself is nicely done, so does the base, and the trees. An excellent build all in all.
  6. Very nice ships, sails and rigging are masterfully done, as usual, nice collection of minifigs too, except that bearded dude with a pony tail.
  7. Looking good, cute litte scene with interesting details.
  8. Nice landscape, I like the brown and dark red plates used as mud. Well said.
  9. A neat built, nice wall technique and bravo for the background story, the press looks good too.
  10. Thank you, the roof technique goes to CapsOnBobs, I'm happy with the result too. Thank you Fraunces. Thank you Ayrlego, glad you like it. Thank you NOD. Thanks BD.
  11. A very nice looking boat, nice job with the sails and rigging, I like the blue plates on the sides to mask that stripe on the original hull pieces, and as said above, the stern and the whale are awesome.
  12. This morning, the guard of a remote outpost in Acropolis was surprised by the arrival of a group of Oleander regulars and a ox cart full of supplies and armaments. Seeing them arriving, the old guard knew something was happening, and his apprehension was confirmed by the sergeant leading the small group. -"We are at war with the Corries." Said the sergeant in a monotonous tone, effectively, the wars were so frequent between these two kingdoms that no one would raise a eyebrow if someone said they were at war, again. Still, the old guard noticed that these newcomers were all of a certain age, with the ongoing TV affair, most of the troops available were sent to that island, and the veterans were recalled to active duty. Vive le Roi!
  13. Looking good, the angled house is a nice touch.
  14. Very nice build. The spier and the post office look both very good, I like the weathering effect on the wall, very fitting for a seaside building, and the accordion looks good too.
  15. Impressive build, I like how you built the roof, and the crennelation looks quite special too.
  16. Good minifigs selection, good posing, the bridge looks good, I also like the attention paid to the details such as personal affairs left behind, piled on the side of the bridge.
  17. I can't the pictures but I like the story, great writing.
  18. Very nice build, I like that part-intensive roof, and the wall, and the windows. The alternance of tan and green plates on the ground look good too. It's also great to see the Tvsans arming themself and joinng the bluecoats to overthrow the tyrant.
  19. That's a fine ship you got here, the brick bending technique works well to create the sleek line of the particular shape of the hull.
  20. Nice job with the variation of terrain, nice minifigs too.
  21. Very nice build, the offset plates on the wall look really good, interesting technique, I also like the alternation of green and tan,and that hairy cow, looks hilarious.
  22. I remember have seen the wip pics of this beast in the shipwright thread a couple of years ago, and it's great to see it in its final form. A very nice looking terraman, with plenty of details, I especially like the richly decorated bow and stern, and the way you've widened the hull with slope bricks, I also noticed that you only used the upper part of the prefab bow, and the result is quite good. Good job with the sails too. If there's anything to change, it might be these large guns as bow and stern chasers, they are as large as those mounted on the gundeck , have you considered using some custom guns to represent smaller calibers? And by judging it's length, I think it should be a class 8.
  23. Though functionning at its maximum capacity, the Eltina shipyard still managed to work out a small sloop to respond to the urgent need for any form of vessels to transport our brave bluecoats to the battlefield. It features a rather rounded shape to prioritize transport capacity, it got no fixed armament neither, clearly, it isn't fit for combat. On the other hand, it's humble appearence could be an advantage too, after all, no one would pay attention to a boat that small. Thanks for viewing. Vive le Roi!
  24. A company of light horsemen has been raised with the funds from the merchants and artisans of Fatu Hiva, as a contribution to the common effort of the Kingdom. The horsemen have spent a couple of days on the beach, waiting for orders from their superior. Rumours say they'll be probably sent to an island named Terre Versée. Thanks for viewing.
  25. A simple vignette to sistership the Ambition, itself being a sistership of the Aspiration. -"Letter from the admiralty." The horseman shouted, a clerk appeared on the threshold of the mayor's office, "that can't be good," said the clerk to himself. And he was right, the letter was about the launch of new ship to replace a class 6 recently sunk.
