  1. Thanks, Darnok. I don't see any cruelty here, besides sister de Cloche is there with her baguettes to make sure that everyone behaves correctly. Thanks merc, glad you like it.
  2. I like the boat, it;s only a part of it but I like its shape.
  3. There were a few manifestations in the streets of Granoleon, and our illustrious King Phillip is aware of their request, he'll take good care of his subjects, as he always did. Where's our Jean Claude Van Damme?
  4. I guess the major is wearing a helmet, does he?
  5. Thanks Keymonus. Concerning the pants, I learned from the TVsans army post that they are wearing light blue and yellow, the only yellow legs I could find were plain yellow and the above ones, so it wasn't hard to make a choice.
  6. At the foot of one of the defensive structure protecting the inner city of King's Port, a group of Olean regulars captured a couple of TVsans soldiers, who managed to escape from the tower nearby before it was blown up by OL artillery. Here we can see sister de Cloche rushing to provide care to a wounded TVsan serviceman, by feeding him, the poor guy seemed having an urging need for fine OL pastry. A small build to illustrate OL's progress in King's Port.
  7. Does such thing still exists? Paid in advance I imagine, l'Olius's time is counting down.
  8. Neat build! The facade looks really good and I like the fully paved street too, and it even has an interior!
  9. Nice scene. I like the guy on the right, taking note with a quill, this kind of detail just adds a lot to a build. And the ground looks really good.
  10. I'm ok with that, for me, these builds showed sufficient effort, especially when comparing with some of the properties we used to see before the unfortunate destruction of Mesabi's Landing.
  11. Neat build, I like the clean look of it, with all these tiles. Poor dude, got caught by the Corries, @Professor Thaum do you have plan to rescue your rats?
  12. Looks like Jim is having a fun time with his new musket. I like the multi-layered base too.
  13. Very nice scene, and good job with the accompanying text.
  14. With the arrival of ships carrying reinforcements, the harbours of OL colonnies became busier than ever. In the beginning, the settlers of Astrapi were glad to see this influx of soldiers in their streets, especially the barkeepers of the local taverns, who saw this as an opportunity to expand their business. Unfortunately, they realized soon enough that these aren't going to stay, they just use their colonny as a transit to get access to their ultimate destination. The streets were so crowded with soldiers, that the commander decided to take a shortcut. 2 companies of line infantery to be raised in Astrapi.
  15. Nice build. With these supplies, our men should be able to sustain a long fight.
  16. Nice beach scene! It's amazing to see so many details at this scale, clever use of the snotted bricks for the footprints on the sand. The entranchement looks good too.
  17. Ah, that's what happens when we entrust a task to amateurs, how can these TVsans let a man like Cooke escape so easily, a hole in the wall isn't an excuse. Nice hole btw, it looks very convincing.
  18. Neat build. I like the ondulated terrain. Just hope these brave men could come their senses soon, and let the soldiers do their job.
  19. Nice build, captain! Good work with the custom base, the warehouse is huge, and I like the details you added here and there, such as the horses drinking from the fountain, and as said in the above posts, it's good see so many bluecoats marching.
  20. Personally I don't care if people mix yellow with fleshies, nor using exclusively fleshies in a build. As pointed in some posts above, the choice of using one or another may depend on one's collection. For my part, I'm definitely a fan of yellow faces as I started playing lego in the late 80s, so it's more a question of habit.
  21. Nice build, as usual, and good job with the gun carriage. The vignette looks very good too.
  22. @Ross Fisher Nice build! Great to see the Canon has also set foot on that island. The wave looks really good.
  23. And you are right, some bricks would make the bridge look better. Ouch, these gaps, they are quite obvious, how I haven't thought a way to remedy it. Here you go: Don't forget to hide your legos, I hope you are already buying them Duplos. Thanks, Fraunces! Thank you! Agreed. In fact I'd prefer to send a tank, but you know, we've to stay historically accurate. Sorry, can't see the pic, the Wiki is down for me. Thank you, glad you like it. Pardon my ignorance of English language, but I don't see any dog there, are you referring to the minifigs?
  24. Thanks! There are a couple of wooden clads floating around, as far as I know, @Phred @Bregir have built there versions before.
