  1. Nice work ImLost! It looks great, I love all of the details. If this fits into a standard Fire Station Engine Bay, then I would very much like to have one!!
  2. Thanks for a fantastic review Svelte!! I don't know if I can afford it when it eventually makes it's way to Oz, but it definately looks great.
  3. This looks like a great idea!! Well done! (and keep bricking!!)
  4. I hope this is correct, I've been patiently (sometimes a little impatiently, just ask the Mrs!!) for this set...
  5. I bought this set today although I'm not overly fussed about the helicopter, just something about it I guess. It's a great step forward TLG has made non-emergency sets and I applaud them for that. The limo is a little narrow, maybe even a touch too long, but at least its a good start to alternative sets.
  6. Hi there efin! I like your Police Station, it's nice! On a side note, I love your piano!! Also, where did you get the McDonald's set from? Great work on your Town, keep it up!!
  7. Sorry about that. I grabbed the images from Brickshelf and totally forgot. My bad!!
  8. I totally agree with Big Cam, this is a fantastic building! Was there a bidding war to buy it? You're one very lucky AFOL!! Your layout looks fantastic. I also really love the products in the store, just like everyone else!!
  9. Cool! I like it! Clever use of the car bases to make one uber-car.
  10. It's a busy time at the moment, there is a bulk fuel delivery and a blown light that is being fixed. Next few shots are showing the clearance of the tanker through the Service Station. I've done a review on each vehicle at ANZFOL. To view them, click here and here.
  11. Got 3179 and 3180 from my local K-Mart yesterday. For those of you that haven't seen inside the boxes yet, my reviews of both should be up and running tomorrow at ANZFOL (see link in sig).
  12. I was at my local (Merrylands, NSW) yesterday and they had the new Star Wars battle packs and Toy Story stuff, no new City.... Weird!
  13. That has quite a lot of stuff inside it!! I really like the way the rear opens up as well. Well done!!
  14. Thanks for the review mikey! Even though I love this set and can't wait to have it my City, I voted it above average because of the ends of the trailer. They are a bit of a disappointment. Other than that; City 2010 ON!!
  15. Mine works out to be this Bionicle pen. I didn't know that TLG produced pens! Who would've thought?!
  16. This looks fantastic, well done again to Jamie and his team! I'd love to see one in Australia, but then again, I'm still waiting to see 10197 in Oz. I thought it was a nice touch that TLG put the price up by $AUD20 at S@H and it's not even here yet!!
  17. Thanks for the review Def!!! Unfortunately, I totally agree with Alywin's comments. Overall it looks nice, the colours go together well, but I'm disappointed in the lack of interior space. Whay can't TLG give us some sort of interiors for the houses? I wouldn't think it would be that hard. Also, I was a bit shocked at the price; this will definately be a sale purchase.
  18. To all who frequent this site; Merry Christmas to you all!! I hope you all had a great day with family and friends. I also hope that Santa was kind to you all and that you got whatever was on your wish list!!
  19. I got a slab of Jack Daniel's R-T-D stubbies, (YUM!!) along with a bar runner and stubbie holders. Also, the Star Wars original trilogy DVD pack and a few other bits and pieces. Merry Christmas to you all!!
  20. This is a fantastic truck that you've built. I really like it!! A very similar design might find its way ino my brigade in the future.... Well Done!!
  21. I sure hope not. It hasn't reached Australian shores yet and I've been patiently waiting for it. I still don't understand why TLG don't release stuff world-wide, instead of drip feeding the sets to different countries.
  22. I reckon it looks pretty cool! That would work well patrolling the outer limits of your City!!
  23. Hi meat1980! Thanks very much for the review. It's great to see 2010 sets already out there! I was only half-interested in this set for the truck, as I have 7945 and would like to get 10197. Having seen it now, I won't be getting this set. It is a different design for a truck, so thanks TLG for the though process, but having seen it in decent pictures, it doesn't really appeal to me after all. Plus, for me, the building doesn't really flow all that well, so I can't think of any reason why I'd want to buy it.
  24. Done. My main concern was to get consistant pricing across the different countries (taking into account the exchange rate). I don't see why Aussies have to pay so much more for exclusives than other countries.
  25. Frontline Hobbies in Newcastle have quite a few Service Stations for $59.99 ea. They also have a few Market Streets for $139.99 ea.
