Hi all! I recently rescued my technic forklift from my Dad's place the other day and all the gears are pretty much seized up. I'm going to break it down and wash it, but I was thinking of lubing the internal workings with some graphite powder as I put it back together. Would anyone have any other ideas of what I could use? Thanks!

Hi there! Does anyone have pics? The link says the page could not be found... :-/

I got 7990, the Cement Truck for my birthday from my Sister. Yay!!

I'm the one reclining at the front. It was taken at the end of an exercise at RAAF Base Scherger (near Weipa, far north Queensland) in 2005.

I don't mind that new police chopper. It looks like it builds on the one from the current police station, but they've lengthened the body a little, put a better main rotor blade on top and the spotlight underneath. Not bad at all! *sweet*

Just a look through the gaol to highlight the wall that can be removed.

That's quite OK!! I know I was asking a lot, but if you don't ask..... so now I (and everyone else! *sweet* ) knows the response!! If the missing part for the Derby Trotter is something simple, then I'll take it as is. Let us know what you want to charge for these items and we can go from there. Andrew. -

That's too bad you have to sell it all off! 8-| I sympathise greatly! I can, however, provide a good home for whatever you want to get rid of. Do you still have 6355 Derby Trotter? Would you like to sell it as well? My daughter would love that. I'll also take as many road plates 7280 and 7281 as you want to get rid of. I was thinking; would it be fair just to pay for postage? I know I'm asking a lot, but 13 - 37 Euros works out to be AU$20 - $58 for the postage. -

If you don't need them, I'll gladly take them off your hands. I have the base to 7237 and the three smaller 'squares' that made up the base for the different parts for the building. Other than that, I don't ahve anything to trade. Do you Paypal? If so, send me your address that you would like me to send some money for them. -
Nice work!! Love the racing slicks... it's ready to scream off to any emergency!! :-D

Thanks for the kind words! :-$ I'm intending on fencing in the compound, but not for a little while yet.

Nice work!! Hat's off to both of you! *y* :-)

V-LP-1C Thanks goes to DarthLegois for the inspiration for this car!! :D I originally had it built just like the standard Police car, then I saw DarthLegois' creation and took a few things from it. I modded the rear parcel shelf and added the lights in. Simple! Eventually, I want to replace the front windscreen with the one that is on the fire ute and car from the service station, but I can't find a tinted one at the moment. This will move the roof back one stud, making the roof at the rear slimmer. It can be used either for patrols or when my detective needs to get around. Enjoy! :-)

Put this together yesterday after the Mrs prodded me to assemble it and stop hiding under the bed! :) I didn't want to build it until I saw some pics of the new station. So now it's official, I'm not getting the new Police Station! However, I did really like the compound out the front of the new one, which is going to be incoporated into this set out the back, to safely house my vehicles and gaol. I really didn't like having the lockup out the front. I also got rid of that annoying base plate and put it all on a 48 x 48 plate. Some further tweaking is required; I need to add some trans-red slopes to the top of my dog handler's van, as well as adding some technic bricks and pins to the ground floor roof on both rooms to reinforce it ala 07's Fire Station. I might also build a small kennel for the dogs; can't really have attack dogs just roaming about! Other than that, it's pretty much complete! Enjoy! :)

I love it! I see TLC have been listening and have added an interior, all be it just a staircase, but it's a start! :-) I also love the outdoor setting and the pay-tv dish out the back! *sweet*

My opinion: I don't really like either sets, the plane looks a bit wierd and out of proportion for my taste and I think that the front on the truck is a bit odd after the SNOT efforts on the '07 line of trucks. However, my wife is pushing to get the Surveillance Truck. So it proves you can't please everyone all the time! :-$

These were my thoughts down to the letter! I can still hear Huey Lewis and The News playing in the background!! *sweet* That petrol station / garage would make a really nice showroom for a car dealership!
-
Count me in for all three as they're great looking sets!

Thanks Wout and Darth_Legois_619!! I'm definately getting the cargo truck and the postie plane and van. The Creator house will also be a welcome addition to my Main Street. As for the new Police Station, the jury is still out on that one. I love that its modular, as well as the lockable cells and the handcuffs! :-D The Police helicopter looks pretty good too. Indie also looks like a winner, but not for me, although Indie himself might find his way into my minifig population! :-D
