LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion
Brickmamba replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Best looking figures so far in terms of originality and execution are bumblebee, toy soldier n medusa. With good accessories, painter, diva, captain n skydiver. The rest kinda lack lustre at this point, it will be interesting to see how tlg will pull off the bald head for the old man.- 1,076 replies

Good work, nice looking displays

Looks promising, the color scheme works well
-
Very nice, really like the exterior, simple clean n effective, I reckon the interior colours could have bee simplified somewhat so it can be easier to read given the scale, all in all well done

Not bad, it's nice to see a bike that doesn't use the standard bike mold/part

A few months ago there was no doubt i was going to pick up this set, now on second thought other than the decent drop down gate, in general it looks to be a rather simple add on room that fails to capture the cave like environment of rancors pit. Also it would have been nice for the keeper to get a more accurate headpiece so he doesn't just look like a shirtless 'Jedi' and instead of the redundant skeleton, include the keepers buddy which he cries on the shoulders of in the movie as an exclusive to make the set more enticing. As it stands I'm really just interested in the Rancor figure and if I can find one at an acceptable price I can easily forgo the entire set. Thanks to the OP for the nice early review.

REVIEW: 10937 Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout
Brickmamba replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for an outstanding review. This set makes for a great centre piece to display all the dc mini figures. Ranks at the top with the funhouse as one of the better heroe buildings -
Very nice figures, I would happily pay to have storm and cyclops, the printing on those two just fantastic

Review: 10193 Medieval Market Village
Brickmamba replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I have not a single castle set to my name, but this would be the first one that I would scoop up given the chance. Not much more to be said, fantastic looking set, kudos to the OP for a review well done. -
REVIEW: 76001 The Bat vs Bane: Tumbler Chase
Brickmamba replied to PhillipJFry's topic in LEGO Licensed
Have been waiting a long time to get my hands on a Lego tumbler, unfortunately this one is a disappointment, size is not the real issue, the design is rather simplistic as if aimed for 12yo, it lacks detail and the robust feeling of an armoured tank. Alas the figures are so good in particular bane I will have to get my hands on this somehow, thanks for the review. -
Thanks for the pictures, seeing this theme really brings back childhood memories, will buy just for the figures
