  1. I'm back with another Triple WIP! This time, my models are centered around an arctic theme, the first model being an arctic truck. Here's the chassis at it's current state: The other two models will be revealed later, so stay tuned! Feedback is always appreciated
  2. I made this small truck: Also, made a Jeep Wrangler: No instructions, but hope this gives you some inspiration.
  3. Looking great so far! Can't wait to see how this compares to your Pagani
  4. I'm going to build another entry and then decide which of the two I want to enter. It's supposed to mimic a readout for the dynamometer. In this case, it monitors wheel speed.
  5. A little late, but here are the pics (I finished this a few days ago and just got around to editing). All together: Separate models: Back/underside: Car underside: Feedback is greatly appreciated, as always.
  6. Just watched the video, looks like it works great
  7. All I can say is wow! Amazing color scheme, great build, tires fit great! Only complaint is that the caster angle is tilted forward, which usually affects the steering. Does the steering work fine?
  8. A little bit of progress, gonna finish this model tonight hopefully. I got the basic mechanics of the third model working, just have to make it look pretty.
  9. Close, but not quite Transforms into a parade float if you flip it up-side-down That was my original idea, though it would be more like this: ...and in the floor of an adjacent module. It would end up in like a modular car shop thing, and I was even thinking of making walls. Only problem: not enough bley
  10. A few people got it right -- the model's a fake dynamometer. Any guesses for the third model?
  11. Moving on to the next model. This is where things get interesting... As always, I appreciate any feedback you guys have!
  12. I don't think I've ever told myself that I have enough detail in my models and listened. Here's some progress: Any and all feedback is appreciated, as usual. Thanks for the feedback!
  13. That's probably the thing that worries me the most right now -- I have no idea. It seems to be around 300 now, but then again, maybe that's just what I want it to be
  14. NOTE: This is not an official entry. This is a WIP thread for one of my possible entries into the Triple Build Challenge. I'm going to be brave (or possibly stupid) and start a WIP for my first entry. I have a really unique idea planned, but sadly, it has a very predictable start: a car. For now, it features steering, folding seats, and a spinning fan that's barely visible in the above picture. The fan serves a purpose, don't you worry.
  15. "three small-to-medium sized models which relate to or interact with each other" I think that would go under "relate to each other"
  16. I didn't get to test it ouside because of weather, but it does drive over blankets quite well :)
  17. I build with no design process -- the whole thing is on-the-fly. That's not to say I don't make mistakes . It took me about a month to complete the entire project, maybe a little more.
  18. Sorry, no video. Too busy with school, and I really want to get working on the Triple Build contest. There's nothing stabilizing them on the top, but on the bottom they're connected to a cross block that goes down to the chassis. I think instructions would take a bit too much time...
  19. Here it is guys, the finished model! This guy won the Most Complicated Technic award at Brickcon 2013: Features: * 4WD * 4 link suspension * 2-speed gearbox * Ackerman steering geometry * full remote control * opening doors, hood, and trunk * front and rear lights * 3rd party Axial Ripsaw tires (1.9 scale) More photos in this Flickr set, WIP photos in this EuroBricks thread. Any and all feedback is appreciated!
  20. I use tweezers. They're very good at small situations, plus you can close them and use them as an axle pusher. Be careful not to stab yourself though!
  21. What does it mean by "Entries are to be placed in the Entry topic in this forum?" Does that mean we should reply to this topic with our entry? Or start a new topic with [TRIPLE]?
