  1. I'm not sure if this information is relevant or not, but Brickset has listed four sets for The Lord of the Rings for 2013: The Wizard Battle (Isengard), The Council of Elrond (Rivendell), Battle at the Black Gate, and Pirate Ship Ambush (the Corsairs).
  2. I put The Lord of the Rings videogame, Attack on Weathertop, Mines of Moria, The Bat vs. Tumbler, and the entire Hobbit line on my X-Mas list. As for buying myself gifts, I always wait until the day after Christmas to go buy anything I didn't get .
  3. I already did. Nobody around here seems to have them.
  4. Nice review, Masked Builder! I've been wondering whether I should shell out $30 on eBay for this, and now, I think I will.
  5. Waiting for the release of the Hobbit sets...

  6. Meh, I think Mirkwood is overpriced, but Barrel Escape seems like a steal (for some strange reason I thought that set would be priced at $80).
  7. Three Series 8 minfigures: Santa, Actor and Cowgirl. I love all three of them.
  8. I'm really looking forward to Attack of the Wargs, Barrel Escape, An Unexpected Gathering, and Escape from Mirkwood Spiders. I'm looking forward to Riddles for The Ring and The Goblin King Battle to a lesser degree.
  9. Very nice MOC! As for the comments on Inferi, I think that perhaps Gollum would be the best minifigure to use for Inferi.
  10. Hmm... I'm severly disappointed with this. It looks like GS really screwed this up. Does Amazon give you the minifigure with pre-order?
  11. Being a huge fan of "The Lion King" I love these custom designs! Who are you planning on doing next?
  12. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but where are the LotR sets in that picture?
  13. I'm not sure if it counts, but I recently received The Battle of Helm's Deep as a birthday gift, and I love it! It reminded me of why I fell in love with the LotR line in the first place: great building techniques, fantastic locations, plus gorgeous minifigures and accessories. I already have a copy of Uruk-Hai Army, but I'm planning to another copy. I'm also planning on putting Attack on Weathertop, Mines of Moria, and the LotR video game on my Christmas list (I cant buy them since I'm saving up to go see a Broadway show. Hint - my avatar is their CD soundtrack cover). When I put the videogame on my list, I heavily hinted the fact that if you pre-order, you get an exclusive minifigure (That Elrond minifigure makes me ).
  14. Watching my new favorite show, "The Cosby Show"

  15. BenX, where did you get that information on next year's LotR sets? Real or not, I want them (although the sets based on Treebeard and the Balrog seem a bit overpriced - unless more is included?).
  16. Best: Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter Worst: Avatar and Black Widow
  17. Probably doesn't count, but I received The Battle Of Helm's Deep as a birthday present today. I love it!
  18. The Wizard of Oz. The classics never die.
  19. Oh, you designed it, marcobessa? Well then, I have to say, you did a fantastic job!!!!
  20. Bought 9465 The Zombies, 9476 The Orc Forge, and 3 Series 8 Minifigures: DJ, Pirate, and Skiier. I'm thoroughly pleased with everything.
  21. The Aquaman set is definitely a must-buy! The Spiderman is ok, I'll buy it just for Nick Fury and Venom.
  22. Ah, I'm glad to find other people on Eurobricks who share a passion for theatre! I've been in several plays/musicals, and currently rehearsing for a production of Treasure Island as the Squire. I've seen several plays and musicals (touring), and two musicals on Broadway: Mary Poppins in 2008 and The Lion King last July. I'm currently saving up to go see The Lion King again in NYC. Hint: putting stuff on eBay really helps.
  23. Wow, I haven't posted on here in a while. I've been really busy this past few months. Anyhow... When I first saw pictures of the Arkham Asylum set, thought, "OH.MY.GOSH.THAT.IS.THE.MOST.AMAZING.THING.I'VE.EVER.SEEN." As for the Tumbler vs. The Bat set, it's ok. I do like it though (especially the fact that the Tumbler is accurately sized). I think the best idea to buy that would be with the The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-Ray. As for the Daily Bugle, meh. It's kind of bleh looking.
  24. Is preparing for Halloween...

  25. Jurassic Park. Great film, watched it while playing Jurassic Park: Builder on my iPhone. Can't wait for next year's 3D re-release!
