Just saw the movie today, and I was blown away at how fantastic and brilliant it is! Bane was easy to understand, and Anne was purr-fect as Catwoman. Can't wait for it to come to DVD!

It's awful what happened, my thoughts and prayers go out to the victim's families and friends. I've been following the news on this all day, and WB pulled the plug on a trailer for "Gangster Squad" (which shows before TDKR), because it included a scene where the mob shoots people in a movie theater. I know it's only been cancelled in Paris so far, but no where else, but security has been stepped up in NYC and Washington DC, and AMC theaters banned "face-covering masks, fake weapons, and costumes that may make people uncomfortable." Meanwhile, I really want the new TDKR set.

I don't know much about the spiderman tv show, so I only have ideas for DC. Set 1: Aquaman Vs. _________ Minifigs: Aquaman and new villain (Black Manta?) Could include Manta's submarine and some rocks and coral. Set 2: The Dark Knight Rises set Minifigs: TDKR Bane, Gordon, Batman, and Catwoman (wouldn't be the same without her!) Could include The Bat, Bane's Camo Tumbler, and some scenery. Set 3: Batman Vs. Mr. Freeze Minifigs: White Suit Batman, Mr. Freeze Could include a vehicle for Batman (Batpod?) and some vehicle for Mr. Freeze. Set 4: Arkham Asylum Minifigs: Batman (winged), Red Robin, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Dr. Quinzel, Security Guard, Joker (prison) Could include Arkham with cells for villains, watchtower, office, and operating/torture room, and a motorcycle for Robin. Set 5: Batman Vs. the Penguin Minifigs: Batman, Penguin, Penguin Goon. Could include the Batboat and Penguin's sub.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Mr_Malfoy replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Venom? Nick Fury? Aquaman? TDKR Bane, Gordon, and Batman? Scarecrow, Penguin, and Mister Freeze? Dr. Harleen Quinzel and Arkham Joker? The Bat and Camo Tumbler? I swear, I think I've died and gone to LEGO heaven!!! -
I don't think they'll be releasing any more POTC sets. I would save up $40 more and buy QAR and Whitecap Bay (they go well together).
-
Disney/Pixar's Brave. Great film, better than last year's Cars 2 . Can't wait for Monsters University.
-
That's very true. For example, if you look at the new Spider-man set, you get Spider-man and Doc Ock (both very famous), and Iron Fist (didn't know who he was before the set was revealed. I thought he might be a villain before the set picture was released).

What would it take for you to stop purchasing Lego?
Mr_Malfoy replied to Blackicep8ntball's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Death. Then again, Armageddon may not be too far away. I also agree that LEGO would never sink to such a low quality that would make people stop buying. LEGO will never be on the same level of M#@%B*!?:"~. -
Maybe it's about Sheldon and all his nerd friends.

Monster Fighters 2012

Agreed on both the comment and the Haunted House. Amset Rah's comment may be the best Eurobricks comment EVER. -
Monster Fighters 2012
Mr_Malfoy replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You are so lucky to have the Haunted House already! Could you post a review, please? -
Picked up 9466 The Crazy Scientist and his Monster, 9468 Vampyre Castle, CM 7 Viking Woman, and the exclusive Mini Sopwith Camel. Funny thing is, I had to go to one mall to get 9466, and had to go to another one for 9468.

Nice review, Flare ! I remember getting this set for Christmas in my stocking a few years back. -

Monster Fighters 2012
Mr_Malfoy replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would have to guess that perhaps LEGO likes to give people who don't know about the oddball releases a little surprise every now and then. Meanwhile, I'm going to a LEGO store tomorrow, hoping that they have The Crazy Scientist and his Monster and the Vampyre Castle. -
Ignoring all the complaints and arguing, I must say this set is absolutely divine. This may be one of the best sets ever released by TLG. I now know where my VIP Points are going .

Um, there's already a thread for this topic: Future LOTR and Hobbit Sets. But, while we're on the subject, a set of Minaz Tirith and a set of Orthanc would make me .
-
Awesome designs, Nuju Metru ! I would buy these if they became real sets in a heartbeat, especially Osiligath!

I just bought Gandalf Arrives, Shelob Attacks, and Uruk-Hai Army today, and I have to say I'm very impressed with the new Lord of the Rings line! The minifigures and the new horses are fantastic, even Gollum (ugh!). However, my favorite thing about the LOTR line is Shelob (which is ironic, considering I hate spiders). She's hanging from a chain on a ceiling fan now (which I think is so cool that you can hang her up somewhere), and she's very well designed, and really sturdy too .
