  1. I bought 4 from B&P in late 2019. Guess they went out of stock for a while.
  2. Wow, the Xerion is 5 years old already? I keep telling myself that I will get it next year, didn’t realize it came out that long ago.
  3. This is the method I follow most of the time, build with parts first (the color doesn’t matter) and do a digital model if it’s worth showing. I did do a digital model first once with a non-Technic build and it turned out fantastic, so there is a great advantage if you have a particularly bad sorting system for parts (like my normal brick collection).
  4. In this case, I would orient the pins so the bends cancel out. Not the quality I expect from LEGO, but also not the end of the world.
  5. Huh, I just checked my copy and you are right. It is so minor that I doubt it will make much of a difference in a rigid construction.
  6. From my testing the older version seems to run better at sharp angles. I’m disappointed in the new version’s binding when spun close to maximum angle.
  7. My massive B&P haul arrived yesterday, but I sorted it already so no photos. It included 20x the new light bley 3L push pins, 50x black Technic bushings, tons of dark green panels (I may be building a dark green car out of spite), 4x the new long thick CV joints, all of the new Zetros color parts, 4x thin VW T2 tires, 20x white half bushings, 4x long 1x11 pneumatic cylinders, 2x large compressors, 4x 7x11 frames, along with many, many more parts. I've already used the new 3L pins, they are very useful!
  8. The long cylinders from 42128 are now available at Bricks & Pieces for a bit under $8 USD a piece.
  9. I don’t get it, why would LEGO do that? Making that many recolours in the same set is confusing to me, I don’t see why it is worth it.
  10. A rally car / rallycross model competition would be neat. People could use RC with the new buggy tires or whatnot.
  11. I’ve seen red, trans dark blue, trans neon orange, trans neon green (my favorite, too bad they’re impossible to get), white and DBG.
  12. Very awesome model! I had the opportunity last week to ride in a 2000 NSX-T, and it was very cool! You did an excellent job capturing the lines of the bodywork and the pop-up headlights are great! I wonder how it would look in a blue color.
  13. @2GodBDGlory @N-4K0 on photos of the set this part comes in (Darth Vader chamber), it shows a bar hole through the stop end. I believe a bar can be inserted fully through it.
  14. I’m not sure about that, the Education wind turbine blades were recently re-released and B&P has them for $149.00 each?!?!?!
  15. Unfortunately they ran out right when I arrived. Looks like I have to wait 60 days
  16. Woah, slow down LEGO!! Two mold changes out of the blue? I want them all!
  17. I am going to try to get this today — I’m driving across the state for something (unfortunate timing) and will stop at a LEGO store on the way. Hopefully they don’t run out of stock by 2 as apparently there will be shipping delays in NA.
  18. I really wish LEGO provided design numbers in the instructions rather than the annoying part/color code IDs. They are a pain to figure out the design ID which is easier to find online. I sometimes can’t even read the design ID on the part because it’s too small.
  19. What?!?! This is a first for LEGO it seems. I can’t wait to see what people will build with it!
  20. Weird new part in version 2 of Spike Prime Expansion Set: https://rebrickable.com/sets/45681-1/spike-prime-expansion-set-v2/?inventory=1#info Look to the left of the image, there’s a large magenta frame with some sort of grating in the middle. No idea what it’s purpose is, anyone know?
  21. I never had any problems with the old version other than it was a bit hard to pull apart. The new one is noticeably easier to pull apart, but not so much that it is too weak. If there is enough demand, I can take photos to compare the two variants.
  22. I can confirm this, ordered this piece from B&P 6 months ago and both the joint and cup are redesigned in new plastic with extra reinforcement.
  23. I would love this magazine to get a USA release! I assume it wouldn’t include the polybag though since it is not available here.
  24. This is such an amazing recreation. I genuinely want instructions to build this model.
  25. I took a course on a Bridgeport mill once, I thought I had signed up to learn a different tool so I was pretty surprised when I got there. Normally I operate 3D printers (plastic and resin), laser cutters, and sometimes CNC mills.
