I check the live builds if possible, and they are really enjoyable! Thanks for sharing the design and build process! Why have you choosen these tyres, not like what is for the unimog or Defender? -

Amazing cars! @JamesJT do you have the building instructions? Can I get/buy it somewhere? -
Efferman's Custom Parts
bekesizoltan replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm wondering if anyone has designed a custom rim (which looks more 2018 and has more space in it) for the tires of the 8448 set. If not, how could I do it? What are the already existing models that I could use and what software is available to modify these models? Or @efferman, would you have the bandwidth to create one? Thanks for helping! -
This is totally mental, there are lot of mocs that has no big place to have a complex gearbox, but your design would solve those issues, basically it could replace the cardanshaft through the car from front to back. Would it be hard to instead of having 1 to 8 have a Reverse + 1 to 7; or Reverse, Neutral and 1 to 6?

Could someone please list the functions of the model? I was not able to find a list of functions in this forum. Many Thanks! -

I'm wondering about the size of the tires. I thought that the Porsche has too wide tires and it would be hard to build another car with those tires and rims. -

Each orange controls 2 clutches, so totally 8 speeds. -

It looks great! The only thing is what we don't know the features. Ok, no breaks, but what else? -

I don't say it looks bad, it looks better than the Porsche, but I'm more interested in what is inside. I was disappointed by the Porsche when I built it. -

I kept one eye on this project on facebook for a long time. This is really cool, I like every piece of it, and the best thing is that it is a playable model, not just for displaying it. I read that the instructions will be available in 2018. I hope I can build the frame. -

Hi, I'm looking for a reliable remote controllable 5+R sequential gearbox or ideas how to build one. If it would have a neutral as well it would be perfect. Please share your ideas and if you are aware of any kind of existing solution please share the link. Thanks, Zoltan

Best Technic Set
bekesizoltan replied to Pauger's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Definitely 8275. Best ever, good building experience and a relly playable set. I also, like 8043, better to build, however less playable.
