Looks great! Great work for something that came just recently. I actually like the look of the set but the price.... that's a discussion for another place. Anyhow excellent work looks spot on!

Hello, just a small side note there is a thread here: You may find some past discussions on this same topic On the topic though, obviously I wish it was the old price, but given the bounty hunter pack having such excellent figures I'm willing to make an exception. On the current battlepacks I feel like its pretty reasonable to just wait a month or two till it goes down $5. The first order Pack isn't bad either, but the bounty hunter pack I'd say is certainly worth the increase per figure. Oh, and yeah I'm betting the price will stay the same. Honestly compare the old price with a microfighter. The microfighter has only 1 minifig when for $3 more you could get 3 more minifigs. I honestly feel like under those conditions microfighters appear as a bit of a ripoff. I guess this sort of brings things in line. Not saying I like it though, just stating some possible reasoning.

The Best 2016 LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Round 1
FishW replied to VaderFan2187's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Fett or Vader...... hmmm, a really tough choice. As a character I've always liked Boba for some reason. But I do not have a Vader figure so that kind of intrigues me. I guess I'll go with Fett. Man, hard choice. I feel like Vader is probably the more accurate figure, but Boba is just too classic for me to pass up. Though that angry clone face.... Also should you change your name to BobaFan2187 since you voted for Boba @VaderFan2187- 506 replies

I like the inclusion of the battle-worn storm trooper. Plus the droid dark trooper is cool too. I like the turret a lot, reminds me of those on the death star. The only thing I might nitpick on is I feel the lava could possibly be done a bit differently. Perhaps made smoother or a bit of light red/dark orange(is that a color even) under the darker trans red to add a bit. Again though that's nitpicking considering the model only has a bit of lava I wouldn't take it seriously. Overall awesome!

Mesa like! in all seriousness awesome builds, I can't believe I didn't see this when you first posted it. Agreed the way you did the shields is interesting, considering you could've left them with nothing which is what the sets have done so far. I like all the gungans gear! Nice work!!

Nice build reminds of a cheesy action movie where they end up shooting at each other in zero gravity. The ship has a nice look to it, and I like all the troops you have in the scene good work!

Pretty cool, I'm regretting not buying that battlepack now though. I like how it's built up, it looks really good. What planet is based on might I ask?

I can testify there is definitely Phase 1 gunners for sure. But I don't recall any Phase 2 gunners. There were some that looked kind of similar, like Wolfe pack ones, but I don't think any gunners. I'm sure someone will correct me on that though, I never really watched the show specifically looking for that type of clone What I can tell you is that the minifig seems to be really similar to Hasbro's 2005 figure called At-te tank gunner. It was under the ROTS line, though I don't believe it was ever in the movie. Here is a link to a review of the figure which is where got most of my info(links like this are allowed I think?) http://www.jeditemplearchives.com/content/modules.php?name=JReviews&rop=showcontent&id=1034

I was just thinking about this same thing yesterday. In my opinion, I feel like more people will purchase this set versus your regular troop battlepack, but I'd doubt people will be purchasing as many multiples as they would the troop builder packs. So I'm curious as to how it all weighs out in the end. That being said I'd probably take a pack of named characters over your faceless Joe's 90% of the time. Even more when they have new molds and prints. The bounty hunter pack really is a gift to the fans. Personally I'd feel like for the best of both worlds they don't make named character battlepacks, but instead add 20 or 25 dollar set featuring named/significant figures. That way battlepacks still function as troop builders satisfying those who build armies with battlepacks, but we still get named characters for relatively cheap. Plus with a slight bump in price it frees them up to offer new molds and printings. Though again as I said I hope they stay with named character battlepacks because 4 awesome characters for a cheap price is impossible to pass up. I'm just offering up some alternatives. Also experimenting with named packs was mentioned, what if for whatever reason with Episode 8, or more likely the Han Solo spin-off, has a large opportunity for another named character pack. So they are testing with this pack for a future movie pack. That seems possible. Another factor I wonder is what if they are giving us this as a gift for the slight raise in battlepack prices in the US. I could see that happening too. All this being said I'd like to see: Ewok Pack: featuring Logray, Wicket, Pablo, Chirpu. (I'm sure I misspelled all of those) Jedi Pack: featuring some "background" jedi, Kit Fisto, Ki-adu Mundi, Yaddle etc. Clone Commander Pack: featuring some clone commanders like Bly, Cody, Fox etc. Knights of Ren Pack featuring some of the knights of ren.

[MOC][Digital] MandalMotors Starviper Attack Platform
FishW replied to Moppo's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow looks pretty good! Props for going for something different, it is a very interesting ship indeed! The wing movement looks cool and very swooshable. -
I bought Minecraft The Wither for 28 USD. It seems fair I wanted the set but the regular price was ridiculous. I also bought 2 mystery minifigure packs of the Batman series. I got Pink Batgirl(I was a bit disappointed to be honest, I was hoping for a villain) and I got King Tut(who is incredible much nostalgia from the old tv show, and his leg printing is amazing). But my favorite purchase was I found the Joker Battle Training polybag and it was only $1!!!

Will the wave with the new sets(Vader's Transformation, Rathtar Escape, etc.) Be out before May 4th? Specifically in NA -
That Wat Tambor is cool! I like how you used the binoculars on him. I also like how you included play features into! Great work!

I'd kind of like a brickhead of Boba Fett. Even though I haven't seen the movies in years, I've found my self becoming a fan of Boba. I think a figure of brickhead would be awesome. Also maybe a brickhead of Vader, Kylo Ren, or just a plain stormtrooper. I guess I find the masked characters more interesting for some reason though a brickhead of Yoda would be epic.

OK that's cool, I was considering joining but I don't have much time to do a dedicated review. While it'll probably take awhile for me to do a review, i'd certainly love to pick up a few tips on what makes a good review. So if it'd be possible I'd love to join!

What do people think of the new summer waves prices? They showed them at the New York Toy Fair. They only showed the USD prices though, so you would have the convert. Even that isn't correct all the time as according to conversion The Phantom 2 was going to be almost $50, and it costs an amazing $30. Anyhow I believe it was: Battlepacks: $15 Republic Tank and Vader's Transformation: $25 Quad jumper: $50 Rathtar Escape: $80 Tracker 1: $70 The arrowhead: $90 Scout with Speeder Bike: $55 Stormtrooper Commander: $25 The Advent Calendar: $40 Overall my impression is positive. If the prices stay like that I'll be really pleased. The fact that Vader's transformation and the tank are both $25 is almost mind boggling as I could see them going for more(knock on wood). I don't mind the battlepacks raised price as the blow is extremely soften by the bounty hunter's pack excellent minifig line up, even though we have yet to actually see them, and I'm honestly really digging that speeder. The First Order pack isn't bad either with price as it has a new officer, what appears to be a new shield piece, and they didn't give the flametrooper a stud shooter: he has his full pack and gun, an excellent addition super happy with that. The build seems cool too, it kind of reminds me of a sleigh. The Rathtar Escape set is what it is. It has decent figures though I feel like one more guvian death gang member would have really helped it. When it inevitably goes down I'll most likely pick it up as I do like it. The Freemaker sets are alright for the price, I'm never seen the show so I'm not into it really, but I certainly wouldn't call any of the sets a steal. They do have a couple cool minifig heads I'll give them credit for that. The advent Calendar is priced the same I believe.

Speaking of tie fighters and filler builds it would be kind of neat to get like a ladder or something as to which you could board the fighter. I mean I don't know how canon it would be, but I think it would be neat. Ah yes right you are! I forgot about that, it has been awhile since I saw the movie. Just die to price I'd hope they wouldn't include it. Maybe instead Boga Lizard and just like some probe droids that Cody sends out. Though it isn't 100% accurate as the Boga lizard goes down before I feel like it would still work and keep the price cheap. But anyhow I'd like to see a set of the Count Dooku duel with Anakin. It could could be $25 USD and just include Anakin, Dooku, and either a chained emperor or Obi Wan. Then it would feature build similar to other $25 sets. Or they could go bigger and have all four of those minifigs plus maybe a couple super battle droids, two different levels, and a pillar you can knock over. That would be cool though probably more expensive then I'd be willing to pay. The scene may not be the best to be featured as Lego considering dooku gets his hands cut off and is then decapitated. But then again they've done stuff like the rancor eating a guard so maybe. Either way I feel like another $25 to complete all the Prequels and Original Trilogy Sith would be an excellent addition. Or now that I think of it maybe the dooku vs Mace in a small set with a balcony. That would actually be cooler in some ways.

I've gotten the several of the sets and I've really liked them. At first I wasn't planning on buying this set, but man once I saw that giant magma cube in action I knew I was sold. I'm even making plans to buy The Wither set just to connect them! The price seems good for what you get. Nice review, It was cool to see what all pieces there is in it!

Nice looks very close to the actual thing! I love how you kept it minifig scale but still included tons of detail! The fact that it fits two minifigs is awesome! About the only thing I can think of to make it more accurate would be a shooting motorcycle out of the front but that would be near impossible even more so at minifig scale. Overall I'm super impressed

LEGO Star Wars Buildable Figure Guessing Game!
FishW replied to VaderFan2187's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Let's see. Probably 1. Luke 2. Leia 3. Chewie(I feel like they'd probably release a new character instead of all original trilogy) 4. Snoke 5. General Hux 6. Probably some generic bad guy troop(yeah that's vague) Other guesses that probably aren't right include: Maz, Unkar(may be gone based on deleted scenes not sure), and Kylo without mask. -
Pretty nice! I like the solid barriers!! I feel like the only thing that could be added would be maybe a little bit more detail on the platform over the abyss it just looks a little to black. Other than that I like it! The real question is does it come with snarling Maul?

So much firepower! It looks pretty sleek! Good job!
