interesting. How does one get the Lego Star Wars magazine in the first place? -
I'd like a set with a Boga lizard(as previously mentioned) and a clone cannon(like the one that shoots the Boga lizard). It could include Obi-Wan, Commander Cody, a clone, and a magnaguard. Maybe even a few battle droids could be added. Probably around $40 USD, even $60 if they went all out on the Boga lizard and threw in a couple more minifigs.

First off Hello welcome to eurobricks! Welcome to the curse that is collecting I don't own the set, so I really can't speak on how good it is. If you aren't adverse to waiting then I'm 100% certain there will be a future Obi-Wan. In fact there is a rumour that there will be another Obi-Wan star fighter with hyper drive ring coming out by the end of this year(it is a rumour so take it at face value). Also Episode 1 and Episode 4 style Obi-wans are currently out. But the current set probably won't be around for much longer. It seems alright to me, if you really like the set then I'd say get it. If not you could wait a year or so when another Obi-Wan is out, and buy one of the bigger sets you mentioned now. It really depends on how strict of a budget you are on, and which movies you like better, thus being more inclined to collect vehicles from it. Looking at the box art I would agree the droid stick up to much, you could probably very easily mod this though. My one reason I've never bought a star fighter is the last several have only had 1 minifigure and a droid. I wish they would include another minifigure at least. Overall I'd say the set is decent. If you don't have any previous Obi-Wans then the set is a great addition, and the vehicle it's self is pretty iconic. -

When does the May 4th minifig usually get shown? I'm trying to decide if I should buy some of the sets now or wait till the special event in order to get the minifig. -
The minifig reminds me of the green hornet for some reason. I really like the all black vehicle, though interesting choice on the back hatch being grey. Kind of adds a bit of variety to it though.

Yea, it says Feb 17th which is good I guess. The sooner they get out there, the sooner they go on sale. With USD prices I feel everything is fair except for the battlepacks and the a-wing, which just seems a little high for me. Maybe with the battlepacks since they raised prices the least they could do would be to give us a set of actual blasters for those that don't like stud shooters. I mean I get inflation and all, but I think if they raise it 15% then they could at least add 4 extra pieces. When compared to microfighters though for just 3 dollars more you could get 3 more minifigs, and just take a slight hit on build quality. So either microfighters were to expensive or battle packs were to cheap. It appears they thought the latter.

I'm not 100% on what droid you mean, but I'd really like an R2D2 with some spinning head action plus maybe a third leg attachment. Also I think the battle droids could probably use a complete re-do. I mean I'd doubt they would do it, but with the current model there is a loss of movement and the arms and hands tend to break. Maybe one day... new blaster molds would be awesome, maybe not really specific ones based on movie guns, but just some general ones that all of the figures could use. I think a couple light sabers with maybe some printing would be awesome too. And of course new alien molds would be great. Maybe a cloth hood too? I'm not sure how well it would function, but it would look pretty good.

Yeah really...... that is a big disappointment. I guess it makes a bit of sense. Especially with a bounty hunter pack featuring new molds and all. But this wave I'm a little meh on. I'm doubtful they'd change it now though...... now I'll probably wait till they go on sale for a bit off. Good news landspeeder is only a very affordable $20. Scariff at $50 is better than $60 for sure though. Just man those battle pack prices are just

Awesome! I almost want to buy a second and try my hand at it. How sturdy is it with the connection? Looks pretty sturdy just wondering. Nice job!

Interesting! As long as Scariff isn't $60. Here is a link to a few of the sets that Lego has put a price on. http://search-en.lego.com/?S1=&cc=US&i=1&pt=shop&q=Star+wars&q1=Coming+Soon&rank=rankUS&x1=availability Phantom 2 is $30 Y-wing is $60 Yoda's star fighter and Duel of fates are both $25. I love the y-wing price! It seems great considering it has a few exclusive minifigs. The Phantom 2 is at a good price too. Duel of fates is pretty solid, but yoda's star fighter leaves a little to be desired for the price imo. Overall I'm really happy so far they all seem really well priced, so far at least!

That is awesome! The micro fight looks really good. I wish it was a set so I could buy it. I lie how you've done the mini diorama! That stormtrooper with the banana looks furious

Could the droid be from the Vader set. It doesn't look the same, but it might be. My guess is no, but figured I'd throw it out there. Also the guvian death gang looks great. They have excellent molds and printing, but is it just me or they an orange-brown? In the movie they were more of a crimson red. I'm not really that worried though, as on the prelims they seemed to be that red. Still kind of weird. Maybe I'm just color blind

Yay, awesome news! Sorry to keep asking questions, just know I'm very grateful for your info, but any thing on the jedi starlight with obi wan and maybe a young Boba? I think it was rumoured to be a retail exclusive so I'm not sure if it would have been there or not.

Kind of a pre-special editions model. Looks pretty accurate for a mini build! Nice work!

Bet interesting indeed! I'm not gonna pry on the Episode 8 sets, as I'm sure you are not allowed to say! But my question is were the other summer sets(rathtar attack, bounty hunters, etc.) in the secret room? Or out for the public meaning we may get some set descriptions or pictures even! And Vader's transformation is awesome can't wait for it too!

Thanks!! Wow that is exactly what I was hoping it would priced!! Super excited! I'm interested in the other sets prices! Especially Scariff and the Phantom 2. I have hope but I'm happy at least one set is decent priced. I had a VIP account awhile ago..... I've forgotten the password and username years ago.. I think the last I used it was when I bought the Rancor pit My plan is to make a new account and maybe wait till May 4th and buy up the sets! If Scariff is $50 I'd be happy since obviously it is better than $60. Looks like the wait will at least be worth it a little!! -

Depends. If you will be able to buy more sets later than Transport since it is on its way out. If you can only buy one then it becomes a bit more difficult. For the minifigs I'd probably go with the y-wing. The transport has Leia and Ackbar which probably have a better chance of appearing in more sets then Raddus and Mordoff, especially the later. As for builds: The transport is decent. The Y-wing is classic. And the tie striker is good too. Overall I'd probably say the Y-wing is the better set in my eyes. But as it just came out it may go on sell in a few months. Plus with the transport retiring it'd be better to pick it up while you can. -
I feel sorry for you. I was so close to buying that set just for Dengar. Yeah I noticed that too. Maybe it is a stand in. Nice. If you notice to the right* is a stormtooper, the top right is vader, and the top left looks to be blue legs, maybe a cloud city guard. Who knows if it is official, but the other figures around it would indicate a Cloud City setup at least.

Woah thanks man! That rathtar escape looks a lot different then I expected. The rathtars look to not be full but at the same time they look like they separate from the build. Weird. I'd kind of think that they both probably aren't full, but again it is hard to tell what is behind both of them. Still looks cool, I'm certainly willing to give it a shot, I'm kind of impressed as to how big the actual inside of the place is. Not just like a wall. It also looks to be well off the ground. Is that the rathtar containment pod or cell at the back with the second rathtar coming out? The set looks to he loaded with play features. I think Old Han with the old hair piece he had is alright. Quad jumper looks giant. And as you said it looks interesting enough to buy. Hard to tell who the minifig is on the left of the storm trooper. Certainly not Constable Zuvio by the looks. Doesn't look like any other minifigs as I can recall then again it is super blurry and hard to tell. Those construction builds aren't bad either! Scout Trooper on speeder bike, and Stormtrooper commander. I share your thoughts on the bounty Hunter pack with stud shooters. But again 4 named characters is awesome not going to complain!! And actually that blue speeder seems pretty awesome, I was kind of impressed. I believe the 4th minifig may be 4-lom, or at least I think we can say it is certainly not Boba or Zuckuss. The color scheme looks to be black and that head is different and smooth on the top. I don't think the minifigs is finished yet so I won't speculate further, but he certainly seems cool. Vader's transformation again looks awesome I'm glad it includes a full Vader and a full emperor. By full I mean including cape and lightsaber. Glad to see they didn't skimp on those! Nice thanks for sharing these
