  1. Thank you so much, @LEGO Train 12 Volts! Water features in LEGO models are my weakness, I love making rivers and fountains and such! :)
  2. @Littleworlds Thank you! It was really fun to design! Although, seven hours later after I'd finished it and had begun rendering I realized I had spent the entire day doing it
  3. Well, after a long period of not doing much besides the giant Eleitian Central Command model, I present to you my newest model, The Cliffside Villa! The idea came about last Sunday, I was procrastinating on doing stuff I was supposed to, as one does. I decided to expand on the bridge, which I had been building as a standalone concept but couldn't figure out what to do with. I was going to build a fairytale castle on the cliffs that I eventually made behind the bridge, but then it morphed into an entirely different building altogether! The porches, stained glass window, and other elements of the actual pavilion came about next, after I'd laid the groundwork (literally) in the form of the cliffs. I then decided to make it into a combination of my previous Temple of the Moon Maiden MOC and something more open to interpretation. So it could be used, (it sits on a baseplate totaling 32 x 48) as an addition to a modular city! Perhaps a large city park with a pavilion, or some form of garden! From my official description: It's a fine spring day at the Cliffside Villa! The Moon Priest contemplates the deep questions of life on the porch, while his daughter strolls the elegantly appointed walkways of the garden. Two guards stand sentry by the staircase, protecting the inhabitants of the Villa from harm. Explore all the secret nooks and crannies of this large set, from the bell tower to the fish pond to the stained glass window behind which the statue of the Moon Maiden is placed! Set features: - 2568 Pieces - 7 Minifigures: The Moon Priest, Moon Priest's Daughter, Statue of the Moon Maiden, (2) Garden Statues, (2) Guards - Villa features a large stained glass window, metallic Statue of the Moon Maiden on a raised pedestal, and two spacious porches. Upper story features a movable bell! - Elegant bridge crosses a large frog pond filled with lily pads and other aquatic plants. See if you can spot the frogs hiding down there! - Statuary adorns the garden, which is built onto the cliffs with beautiful brick-built birch and cherry trees in full bloom. - Relax on the small bench set below one of the statues! - Features multiple unique pieces, such as the Ornamental gold fish adorning the roof, the Moon Priest's staff, and much more! - Spacious basement level beneath the Villa is perfect for placing hidden treasure or whatever you need for added suspense! But don't just follow that one story for this model, use your imagination to make it your own! This model, on baseplates totaling 32 x 48, can be placed as a standalone model or a complementary model for your modular city! Use it as a pavilion, a city park, or a historical monument in your LEGO town. This MOC is now on LEGO Ideas! If you want to, please help support it, I'd love for it to be one of the lucky few that makes it! 4. @MatthewRC I love some of the new edits they made! Especially the delete projects button. There are a couple of duplicates on my page from resubmissions and one or two that were less than professional standards that I need to get rid of :)
  5. @Bricked1980 I hope it gets fixed too! Four hours ago I couldn't access other people's profiles but I could access mine. Now I can't access mine either!
  6. Yeah, it's weird, it's still doing that for me. Hopefully it'll get resolved soon! :)
  7. @Modeltrainman Same for me! I tried to follow someone after supporting their project and it gave me the Error 404 message. Wasn't a fluke, either, it happened with the next five profiles I tried to access. Maybe they're updating? I can still access my profile.
  8. I was hoping for Stitch, but ah well :) Of course I was never very good at predicting popularity, most of the stuff that people go for I find counterintuitive on occasion!
  9. Another update! 620 supporters and climbing! :)
  10. An update to this post, the Orient Express has reached 500 supporters so far, meaning it's 1/20th of the way through the process! We'll see how far it gets ;)
  11. Wow, I didn't know the new LEGO releases were making so many people walk out and leave the building! (Sorry, couldn't resist)
  12. @ProvenceTristram Thank you! And yes, I suppose an 8-wide might have more opportunities for detail. But I can't help liking it the way it is as a 6-wide ;)
  13. @Feuer Zug Thank you! And yes, other people have pointed out distaste for the driving rods as well! ;) So my big project this week is to redo them to be a little bit more realistic, but hopefully so they can still move smoothly without slowing the train down :)
  14. I think I supported that one! I had to look up pictures of the original IP, I don't think I've ever read that book
  15. @Scene Caught me red handed, I'm definitely one of those people ;) Sometimes my ulterior motive of hoping they'll support my projects works, sometimes it doesn't. But there are some projects I won't support just because they aren't that appealing to me :)
  16. @Pdaitabird Thank you! It's currently at 200, so there's some hope ;)
  17. @LEGO Train 12 Volts Thank you so much! The coaches are personally my favorite parts. They were fun to design and make!
  18. @Digger of Bricks Thanks for the mention! I'm glad to say it's at 100 supporters already and climbing! :)
  19. @Unfinished_Projects Thank you so much for your support, and I'm glad you like it! :)
  20. Hello there! I present to you my new and improved Orient Express Thriller! Oh dear, there's a mummy on the Orient Express! But don't worry, he's locked in the sarcophagus! Or is he? ;) The original model for this MOC was created back in 2016, but it was a different engine design, only one coach, and a tender that I could not for the life of me figure out how to make compatible with power functions. This new and improved model has a sleeker engine design. I'm no train expert, so if it doesn't have a little doodle bop or something that real trains have, don't get too upset ;) Minifigures: Dr. Arthur Rutledge, the Mummy, Cad Goldwater, the train's jazz singer, Princess Dragomiroff, the Chef, the Engineer, and Hercule Poirot! According to my official MOC bio: Join dashing, adventurous Arthur Rutledge as he travels across Europe with several priceless artifacts to be delivered to the Louvre Museum in Paris. But be careful, his evil nemesis Cad Goldwater is also aboard, and will stop at nothing to acquire the relics. Will Rutledge be successful, or will the Orient Express be stopped by the nefarious plans of Cad? It's up to you! Two coaches: A passenger coach with three compartments. Can be converted into a sleeper car too! A dining coach with a small kitchen for the world-famous chef to serve the passengers. Each coach has fully opening doors! This model is now gathering support on LEGO Ideas! If you like it and would like something like it on your shelf at home, please share the link and consider support the project! It would be awesome to get to 10,000 supporters! Thank you :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/92865fe4-df96-4ccd-a5a9-2a1042138963 I've also created a short commercial for this MOC, with pictures, a jingle I wrote, and test footage of the train with power functions moving at two different speeds and with one and two coaches attached! Check it out! :)
  21. Update on this MOC: - LEGO sent to me a physical prototype for me to help promote it! It's currently at 28% crowdfunded on the Bricklink site, third to last :( But it still has 44 days left to go, so I'm hopeful! :)
  22. This is my latest Castle MOC: The Clovershire Castle! Built entirely within the Stud.io program, I began the model with a completely different model in mind. Below is a picture of the Temple of the Moon Maiden, a MOC I had submitted to the LEGO Ideas platform. I wanted to take the bridge you see in the background, as well as the water, and the staircase on the right, and create something totally different with it as a baseline. This was the result: My inspiration came from pictures of old misty castles in Scotland and Ireland. I wanted a ruined castle feel, but one that was also partially restored. The bridge was framed by a ruined window, and the mountainside to the right became a rocky buttress to the crumbling castle wall. And of course I left the lanterns in because I thought they were cool. This model got submitted as a contest entry to the AFOL Designer Program with Bricklink, and became a finalist! Below is the MOC after a couple changes were made by the Bricklink and LEGO teams. It's currently in the crowdfunding stage and accepting pre-orders. If it makes it to the funding goal, it'll become an actual set! At the rate it's going, it seems a little doubtful that it will make it, but there's still hope! If you like it, you can head over to the site and check it out! :) https://www.bricklink.com/v3/crowdfunding/designer-sets-for-adult-fans-of-lego/57599/Clovershire-Castle Stay tuned for my next MOC post! :)
  23. Thank you for the mention, @Digger of Bricks! It was a AFOL Designer Program entry that didn't make it to finalist, so I modified it, added about 500 more pieces or so, and submitted to LEGO Ideas! :)
  24. Mine is definitely in the bottom four of the sluggish ones. Most likely going to write it off as a total failure, but at least I made it to finalist!
  25. So true! It's the ones who have less expensive sets I think that will be harder to get. It's much more difficult to attract 200 people with a less expensive set that, to put it delicately, doesn't attract much interest.
