Even if it’s a genuine minifigure the print can easily be custom. Asking TLG direct May be the best way round it.

There’s a Reddit discussion that comes to much the same conclusion. My personal thought is that we would see it in other places, not just for sale.

Sadly DLC = downloadable content. If they were physical packs I would be receiving more letters from the bank asking what the hell?

That and the Young Justice DLC pack. I can dribble, I mean dream.

It’s the kids activity book Faster Than Lightning, which features the Flash travelling to another dimension, hence the red mask on GL. All of the other illustrations that feature unreleased characters are based predominantly on Lego Batman 3 characters, except for the Lantern Micro. The book was published this year, but it could easily have been in the pipeline for 12 months. If the YouTuber is insinuating that Lego plagiarised his design he is walking on very uneven ground, though. Lego own the license to use DC Comics characters, and they conceived Mighty Micros. Without that concept the YouTuber wouldn’t have come up with his build. Without Lego he wouldn’t have been able to come up with his build. He put it on a very public forum without any copyright. There is no denying the likeness, but the MOCer may well have to suck it up.

It’s a really good mech, Batman’s jet pack is what it is, and all new/exclusive figures. No complaints here.

It’s just as unlikely that a Lego book copies a MOC as it is a set does. The principle is still the same. As it’s the only thing not a nigh on direct lift from LB3 it’s difficult to gauge what it is.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they are allowed access to draft character designs that haven’t gone through for whatever reason. It’s good to know that certain characters are thought about, getting them produced is the gravy.

Yup, check my OP above for source. I'm intrigued as to whether the writers of the book know something or were given carte blanche. Either way, my newly acquired Flickr page has the other images, having battled with size.

The mask is odd because it’s a spot the mistake puzzle with things like Superman with a moustache, Catwoman wearing Wonder Woman’s tiara, etc. I’ve been arguing with the other pictures but I will put them up soon, likely through Flickr. I see someone has pinched the photo and stuck it on IG without citing me or getting the source right. Causing lots of frustration. Love it.

Apologies if this has been touched on before, I don’t think it has. If it hasn’t it shows how well the book has sold so far! So my son was given the Flash activity book today, and it got me wondering. Have the activity books got previous for spoilers? I only ask because it features a Green Lantern Mighty Micro, bigfig Grundy, Giganta (same as the DTV, but hey), Plastic Man (can only see his head design), a silhouette of Toyman, a JLTAS Hawkgirl, a CW-style Green Arrow, a bulked up Cyborg a la LB3, Stargirl, and bigfig Parasite. Now that’s a lot of potential reveals, or a lot of artistic license. I can post photos of the above if anyone wants.

Any UK peeps who are on the fence about the Batmobile, Amazon have it at £66.99 right now. Oh, and they have Rage of Atlantis for pre-order in October.

Well to be fair, in the UK comic The Dandy, Desperate Dan had/has a cactus villain who I think was called...Cactus Man.

He’s an example of the custom character you create and play. I get the feeling that a lot of time could be spent coming up with a personalised minifigure. Planting my prediction flag in the LoD hall. It’s on a par with the HoJ, but bad guys have all the fun.

Putting shops in the same order as they are on the studio tour is hardly grounds for set confirmation. TLG are highly unlikely to base the set off of anything but the films. Your “prediction” was little more than a wild stab mixed with a hint of logic based on evidence available to everyone. Hardly makes you a scion, really. There is no logical basis for a micro scale Diagon Alley - it positively lends itself to play features - other than Hogwarts, which was only that scale because of the vast size of the 1:1 scale version. If all you are interested in is “triggering” people, then you have misjudged the situation.

It’s not rumoured, they released photos in time for SDCC. Actually one of the better ones and makes decent use of the Batpieces. It has Firefly with the much coveted helmet.

I’m quite hopeful that @Duncan Young‘s notion that Grundy and Copperhead were going to come with the app-controlled Batmobile wasn’t far from the truth and they come with a regular, hand-controlled Batmobile.

Disney own their version of AiW, not it as a whole.

If you wanted to go with a hatchet job the CMF Balloon Clown has a green hat that could have the print removed. And a bowtie. And long coat tails. But yeah, they are running out of excuses, surely.

I would like a mix of vintage characters we still haven’t seen like the Ventriloquist and Hatter, Manbat made to bigfig proportions, Hush as you say, and some other Bronze/Modern Age characters like Spoiler, a version of Cassie Cain, Azrael, Lark, Bluebird. Also some other Batman role models, protégés and villains like Huntress, Grundy, Question, Bronze Tiger, etc. If they are going strong for Batman at 80, I would like to think they take a similar but more serious approach to TLBM, ie decent villains rather than the likes of Zodiac Master and Eraser. I’m glad to have them, but there are characters higher up the list. @Falconfan1414 dang it, but hey ho, this is the rumour discussion thread after all.
