  1. So after collecting my thoughts, I really like this set. It's great how vibrant and colorful it is. The whole terrain area with an inn and the remains of a tower looks wonderful. Can't wait to see all the details and easter eggs in the HD pictures. I think the dragon looked better in the original concept. While I think that the build itself looks better as a standalone, the previous one has been much more dynamic as a part of the set — the way it circled the whole tower and was looking at the Inn with its tilted head. The new one looks like it can't be displayed as well, it's kind of just standing there awkwardly. The colours are better imo. The minifigures look interesting and diverse. I can spot six of them, same as in the original project. I particularly like the inclusion of an Owlbear — it wasn't a part of the set before, unlike the Beholder (which also looks awesome).
  2. I'm fairly sure that if they were a real, a reliable leaker would share those — but not a single other person has mentioned them.
  3. While I don't think it's confirmed, it seems they might've switched to a single season of the series per year. Apparently, this whole year and its three waves is based on the second season of Dragons Rising. Seeing as Part 1 releases in April and Part 2 (if it follows the same route as S1) in August, it would actually make sense. It'd definitely be weird tho, and the first time the Ninja got three different suits in a single season. As for the villains, maybe the tournament (which is probably a Part 2, June wave thing) has its own guards or something? Getting the same villains in three subsequent waves would be really disappointing.
  4. I'm not sure how reliable those rumours are. Not a single reliable source has even mentioned them.
  5. What do you mean? It's been revealed a week ago along with all the other March sets.
  6. Wow, this set looks fantastic. The build is simply perfect. Incredibly well done. The minifigure selection is also excellent. Glad they included the Prince and the Witch, makes this set feel fully complete.
  7. Not Jurassic World 4. A new Jurassic movie, but a completely standalone one. According to Deadline, no main characters (whether from the original or recent trilogy) will return. David Koepp, who wrote the scripts for the first two movies, is returning to also write this one. Most surpsing news of all, David Leitch is in negotiations to direct the movie. He's known for action movies that aren't sci-fi in the way the Jurassic franchise is — John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Bullet Train, Deadpool 2. That's a very intriguing choice.
  8. Just built Egalt the Master Dragon, it's a fantastic set. Definitely one of my favourite LEGO dragons ever. I love how unique it is — the master aesthetic with the sword, hat, moustache, and beard. The simple colour scheme is great, the red details are a nice touch too. The minifigures are awesome. I love the new Ninja suits, Nya's in particular. The masks are less bulky than expected, and I like how sharp they are around the eyes.
  9. Same, it's actually weird that it's not. It really looks like it. According to Chris "Doc" Wyatt, the metal on her left arm is just armor and not a prosthetic robot arm. ninjago.fandom.com/wiki/Sora#cite_note-7
  10. Her arm is not a prosthetic, it's just armour. A part of her outfit. The armoured arms are also a part of the Summer outifts — that's why Sora and Lloyd share the same arm design in the leaked banner.
  11. Really glad that Sora and Arin are finally gonna get new suits. It's also great to see new shoulder pads. As for the suits themselves, Sora looks pretty cool, but I don't like those golden arms on Lloyd.
  12. He does. You have to look closely at the head. There's a line representing his lower jaw moulded in there.
  13. Prices have been confirmed for like half a year now tho. 71810: 15€, 132 pcs 71811: 50€, 267 pcs 71812: 70€, 623 pcs 71813: 120€, 1190 pcs 71819: 120€, 1212 pcs And whatever do you mean about Lloyd's mech? They've revealed it two months ago, it's releasing on March 1st along the other sets.
  14. I am also confused by the fact that Baby Riyu is included in Arin's Buggy... isn't he bigger now, accurately represented by the smallest set? Makes no sense to include his baby form.
  15. Overall a really solid wave with a lot of variety for a small number of sets. The Riyu set is great for its low price. Glad they included both Sora and Arin. The build looks better in lifestyle pictures — no idea why they use this weird spread-legs position in most of the other photos. Arin's Buggy is definitely the weakest set of this wave. I suppose it might be using dark blue and purple elements because Arin stole it from Wolf Masks and got it modified. If not, the colour scheme wouldn't make any sense. Cole looks kinda weird with those orange arms. It's also overpriced. Kai's Mech is really good. I like the build as a whole, and especially the big swords with smaller ones on its sides. The minifigure selection is great too. Shadow Dojo is the exact opposite of the Dragonstone Temple — it's really spacious and spread-out. I love the aesthetics, but I can't help but feel that it lacks substance. The building is mostly an empty facade that lacks a proper interior. Minifigure selection is incredible tho. Dragonstone Temple, as I've said before, looks incredible — just not for that price. Glad I was wrong about Euphrasia (weird that she uses Female Apprentice's hairpiece and head). The minifigure selection is still weird.
  16. I mean, she can be, since the leaked picture is a prelim — some things are set to change, and they often use replacement minifigures. It's just that judging by this picture alone, it's the Female Apprentice from the Core Creative Box set. Same hairpiece, same faceprint. She also has a new torso and leg print, making it less likely to be Euphrasia.
  17. Unless they change the minifigure in the final set (the leaked image is a prelim), we ain't getting Euphrasia. Crossing my fingers they do tho.
  18. Yeah, definitely a strange decision to use a random student instead of a named character. Definitely takes away from the set imo. The wave for S1 also had some non-canon elements — Wu, Jay in a Ninja outfit, Imperium Claw General and Imperium Guard Commander have never appeared in the series after the Merge. This set takes it even further — it feels like every two minifigures are from a different setting, and the build is completely made-up just to be aesthetically pleasing. I definitely like this concept tho. A more timeless set that can represent Ninjago as a whole, and not just a single Season. It's just that the minifigures are kinda random, especially the student.
  19. I'm pretty sure this set isn't canon tho. I think it's just supposed to be a nice diorama-like set, but not fully connected to the other sets. Nya and Kai use their last season outifts. Wu appears, even though he's missing (obviously he could still appear in the series, but I'm pretty sure he won't be a part of S2). They used the Core student again, even though she's not a part of the series. And then there's Lloyd and Ras from S2 to somehow connect this set to the others in this wave.
  20. While I love how the set looks, I expected something much bigger. It's absolutely stunning, but it does not look worth 120€ in any way. Possibly the first time a set has me taken by surprise so much. Leakers did a really bad job describing it.
  21. This forum is on it's way to become another Arkham Aslume. Are we stupid?
  22. Since when has this thread turned into a "hating on The Batman" conversation?
  23. R2-D2 also looks really good. Not interested in the slightest, but I like it for what it is. Really glad the anniversary minifigure stands are compatible with the ones we got five years ago.
  24. Get ready for people to throw around ideas like Aslume, Daily Planet, Hall of Justice etc. only for it to end up being a 200€ Man vs. Jonkler bust. Like, seriously. Expect the worst, and you won't be disappointed. That's how this theme works right now.
  25. Hush would be a weak choice imo. Too similar to how they've handled the Riddler in the first movie — yet another masked, mysterious serial killer. I want Clayface made out of clay. I don't want every The Batman villain to be a regular human murderer exacting revenge.
