  1. The buildable Droideka is rather well done. The minifig scale one looks absolutely awful tho. The price is too high — 50€ would've been much more reasonable than 65€. The diorama is... mediocre, I guess. Definitely the most sauceless one we've got yet. The build is okay, but I genuinely have no idea who this was made for. Why would anyone be willing to pay 80€ for a microscale Podracing diorama?
  2. Reading that felt like having a stroke. Like, what? LEGO DC Luigi's Pizzeria with an exclusive Luigi minifigure, with Scarecrow and Carmine Falcone hiding in the... pizzeria's basement? What was he cooking?
  3. The Acolyte trailer tomorrow. Really curious to see if we get sets for this series, as we haven't heard anything yet.
  4. After collecting my thoughts on the set, I have to say I absolutely love it. The build is extremely impressive — there's so much going on, bit it never feels messy or incoherent. The front looks fantastic with the colorful tavern, the detailed landscape, and a huge tower with a wall in the back. The interior is packed with various rooms and hidden details. The minifigures are awesome too — big variety of races and classes, lots of new prints, interesting accessories. The Beholder looks incredible, and I also love the addition of a Gelatinous Cube. The Dragon looks very impressive and really unique (where are its eyes tho?). I've seen some complaints that the original set was much better because of a unified colour scheme, which I don't really get — isn't the DnD aesthetic about the variety, all unique characters and locations somehow blending seamlessly? I'll take a colorful set anyday over a one using only green, grey and brown.
  5. Evil Jay looks so raw. Love that minifigure. Looks different, but in a very good way. Interested to see how he's incorporated into the series.
  6. That's... not how it works. The Batman 2 would've come out three months after Superman. Now, compare those movies: The script for Superman has been completed months ago. Various major and minor characters have been cast all over the last and current year. We also got a lot more smaller tidbits of information. The Batman 2 has a... "far from complete" script.
  7. Yes, it looks exactly like it should. Much better than the generic mask LEGO gave us. Hope they fix it in two years (they probably won't).
  8. Bruh, where do you get all these random opinions? LEGO easily could make as many sets for DC as for Marvel — they just don't want to.
  9. Yeah, it probably will. March 2026 seems more likely.
  10. As much as I love the sets (the minifigure selection was really weird tho), I just can't get over how bad the Batman minifigure is. Innacurate mask. Inaccurate face print. No arm printing. No leg dual-moulding. Innacurate cape. No collar. Also, but that's more of a personal preference, I think gunmetal grey would've worked better than dark grey. Really hope they fix it next year.
  11. Saying that while liking the Shadow Box is ironic, don't you think?
  12. Looks fantastic. It feels like actual effort was put into this set, quality wise. The price is reasonable, it has an actual target audience, and the minifigures look awesome. There's even some dual-moulding! If that Batman and Harley are included in the Batmobile, I'll definitely get it. The Harley Quinn minifigure looks amazing.
  13. That's not comparable in any way. Comics have countless issues. A lot of them contradict each other, but it doesn't matter, because every writer is allowed to write their own story. There's no consistency. MCU is trying to make single projects, while also building up to a culmination for them. They announced a Multiverse Saga with Kang as the main villain. Then, in the beginning of Phase 5, they make a movie where THE Kang (not any of his variants, but Kang the Conqueror) loses to... Ant-Man. And then they bury themselves even deeper with that awful post-credit scene. There's no denying that they messed it up horribly. For example, Loki did an incredible job of introducing Kang variants, and showing how big of a threat they are. Imagine if Thanos was the main villain of Guardians of the Galaxy, and got defeated by Groot in that very same movie. There's no way you'd treat him the same in Infinity War.
  14. They won't do that. It would be an absolutely ridiculous decision, business-wise at least. It won't affect the box-office in a negative way. Quite the opposite, the movie will definitely make more with him. A few angry parents will be irrelevant for Disney. The question is whether LEGO also decides to capitalise on it. I genuinely can't see why not. I get not doing sets based on an R-rated movie, but it's not like we haven't gotten a handful of Jokers since his R-rated $1B+ movie has released.
  15. They wouldn't transport Deadpool into the MCU if they didn't plan to include him in any other movies. It's pretty obvious he'll appear in the new Avengers movies. After all, he's one of their most popular characters.
  16. Depends on how big their role will be, and how many sets LEGO will make. Not sure if they'll appear in The Kang Dynasty, but Secret Wars has potential to be the most soulless, cameo-filled movie ever made. If they have a big enough role, I don't see why LEGO wouldn't include them in a set. Unless the merchandise takes the Endgame route, with totally random, inaccurate sets.
  17. It's not like they knew any of that while designing the sets...
  18. Unless they bring back the 2007 flying fart. Embrace the tradition.
  19. I know we're getting heavily off-topic here, but what annoys me the most from some of those ridiculous replies is the word "agenda". No, including women in movies is not an agenda. I genuinely have no idea why people act like suddenly the problem with the MCU is half the world's population. There's always the ridiculous counterargument "Well it's because they are badly written." Okay, but you're acting like the only badly written MCU projects are the one with women as leads. Yes, She-Hulk was bad. I didn't like Ms. Marvel. Haven't seen The Marvels, but most people didn't seem to enjoy it. But why are you ignoring other recent MCU projects? Secret Invasion turned out to somehow be the worst MCU project ever. Quantumania was awful. A lot of people really disliked Love and Thunder. We're here to discuss LEGO, and not listen to blatantly sexist comments about the state of the MCU. Saying stuff like "If you ask almost everyone what they think of the MCU in it's current state and what the problems, there's no doubt they'll mention the feminist (men are bad the patriarchy) agenda that's getting thrown into everything we love, It's not hating women if we don't accept bad writing and agenda [...]" is an indicator that you're living in some weird kind of bubble where opinions like this are common. @Lego Nostalgia It feels like you're starting this line of discussion anew every other day. It always comes back to women and women-led MCU projects, especially The Marvels. A lot of people on this forum, myself included, are tired of hearing your comments like this. Could you please stop talking about the MCU and its "feminist agenda"? Could the mods please intervene in some way?
  20. B— but I heard it's a modular Daily Planet with Superman, multiple Justice League members, and a few recognisable villains we've never gotten before?
  21. I'd say that it's unlikely, since the game has a customisable main character. Not only that, but it's kinda pointless from LEGO's POV — the builds would be probably the same Hogwarts expansions we're getting, but with less recognisable minifigures. Regular expansions with Harry, Hermione and Ron would sell better.
  22. Next magazine gift has been revealed, and it's... an Imperium Guard Commander, but with the face of an Imperium Claw Hunter. Very disappointing. It's not only completely useless because of the wrong head, but also the chances of getting S1 Nya and Cole in the magazine are rapidly diminishing.
