    I understand what you are saying I just think its funny that now that there is no true castle theme out people complain that we don't have one but when we have one people complain its to childish or the colors suck, or the heraldry is boring, etc. I can't wait for a new castle theme to come out so people can trash it then complain when there is no castle them.

    You do realize its a toy for children. I know they have some sets for us afols but its mainly for a younger audience. I get that we all want what we want. And they said they have adult study groups but that also depends on their preferences and what they like to build which alot of afols build city, trains, modular, star wars, etc. Not all afols like castle. I mean the people at LEGO aren't stupid they have a solid product that reaches millions. I think they know what they are doing. Look at some of the new FB/Harry Potter sets coming out, I think they are pretty sweet looking with alot of great parts. I think if we are just patient we will see something special for us castle fans. These things take time to develop just give it time.

    My oldest son made a brick costume for Halloween a couple of years ago. I think their are some great figs in this series especially the dragon. Great review WhiteFang.

    I really like the hut and landscape. The base is really cool. Your figures are great too.

    He lost it in Ragnarok when Hela destroyed the hammer. Its in the movies. So if you haven't been following them that's why he has no hammer and has a new weapon for Infinity War. The movies are good you should watch them. The sets are really nice though. I really like teenage groot. The outriders are cool. I really like the Thor set. I can't wait to get the rest.

    Exactly its like the big oil companies complaining they only profited 3 billion instead of 4 billion. I mean this had to slow down at some point. Just like the economy of the world will have ebbs and flows. As far as Toy R Us in the US not all stores are closing. They are keeping the one in waterbury CT open. I really don't think that's going to affect sales. Everyone is buying things online now. Amazon will soon take over the world the way they are going. Lego just needs to have a little better set selection and start including more figs in sets and reduce the number of sets they release. That's just my 2 cents.

    There are plenty of americans that like LOTR, GOT, the vikings show on the history channel and now the show Knightfall. Both my sons like fantasy adventure. My youngest loves all the hobbit movies. Whenever my kids friends come over they all want to play with my lego collections especially the knights, dragons, trolls, etc. There are alot of those build your own civilization app games for your phone. So I think there is a market for it. Lego just needs to find something that will appeal to the masses and roll with it. Although I'm sure some people here will find faults with it then complain when there is no castle theme. So hopefully Lego can find a castle theme that most people will enjoy and flesh it out like kingdoms.

    I would love if they used some of the villains in concept art for Nexo Knights like the skeleton warriors or the demonic looking ones. I think those would be great to have. I would love a griffon faction too. But I do agree with some of you that we need castle is different colors other than gray when a new castle theme comes back. I must say the new armor piece for the tech vampires in Nexo Knights is very useful. Hopefully some of our dreams come true.

    I think your missing the boat here. You make it sound like we haven't had castle for ages. Nexo Knights is aimed at kids not us afols. I don't think lego was trying appease us castle and space fans by creating Nexo Knights. I am an avid lego castle fan love anything castle. I would love to have any castle sets. I hear what you are saying. But I am also a lego enthusiast and love to build and create new minifigs. This is my favorite hobby. All I've been trying to say is that I use several other themes to build up my castle world, especially when there is no castle theme or lotr theme running. I use parts and figs from marvel, DC, elves, nexo knights, ninjago and star wars to boost my armies and help create my buildings and landscapes. You guys make it sound like lego is crapping all over us on purpose and I dont think that is the case. I just try to enjoy lego and will wait for the next castle theme to come. In the meantime I find what I need through the other themes.

    Lego produces several adult oriented sets every year look at the ucs sets, the fishing store, several of the technic sets, creator, and modulars. They definatly wasn't ignoring us. They have always been a kids based toy but have given us afols plenty over recent years.

    I think the only properties Disney didn't get from fox is fox sports and fox news. I think it may be possible to get deadpool again. Disney is just trying to gain control of the whole marvel universe that's just my opinion though.

    Nice little scene. I like the tree and rockwork. The little boat is neat too.

    Great job love the beach. The rockwork and landscaping are nicely done. I especially like the rock that arches out into the water.

    That is certainly interesting now that you bring that up. The castle builders are some of the most creative and talented people I've seen. They are constantly trying new building techniques so it wouldn't surprise me if Lego tapped into that group. If this is actually what has happened they could be creating something epic and that would be great.

    I'm american and I love castles and fantasy adventure. I read LOTR, Dragonlance, and other fantasy novels. I have always loved building castles. I even have quite a few books about castles. I also like Star Wars and Science-fiction but not as much as I like castle and fantasy adventure. But I do own some guns too . I guess its what your into. I have plenty of friends that are into Skyrim and Warcraft etc. I think a lot of the younger generation have more interest in their phones and social media. There is definately an interest in fantasy these days with the popularity of GOT, The Shanara Chronicles, and games like Skyrim and Warcraft. The Fact that amazon paid a ton of money for LOTR must say something for the genre. I hope lego sees this and developes something new and interesting soon.

    Maybe the box art is dull to avoid spoiling possible plot lines for the movie. I could care less about the boxes. The sets look great.

    This is insanely detailed and creative. I love the rockwork, it looks incredible. The cheese slope roofs are are very creative. The buildings are textured very well. The use of smaugs' wings on the windmill is great. The outside oven is cool. I love the black chinmey and smoke. The balcony is one of my favorite parts. The fountain is awesome. I could go on and on. Just fantastic work.

    This is awesome. Great landscaping. The castle is impressive. The minifigs are great. Was it part of a bigger display and do you have more pictures?

    Yeah my 7 year old can't wait for the show to come back on here. He really likes the show and loves all of the villains. In todays world there are so many things for kids to be interested in. Its not like when I was a kid and I would play with lego for hours. Now kids have all these video games and toys to choose from. Lego really needs to keep their ideas inventive in this ever changing market to keep kids interested. Right now Ninjago is their biggest original success. It will be interesting to see if they can come up with something that matches Ninjagos success.

    Very nice work. The main building is excellent. The statues are creative. I really like the dragons colors. And you have some awesome minifigs.

    I like this alot. I got this set also when I was a kid. This brings back some good memories. You did a fantastic job. I really like the way you incorporated the tree. The interior is nice too.

    I really like your ship. The hull is decorated nicely and the blades used around the bottom is a nice water effect.
