Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

Good idea x105Black. I also might use the Talons for something in my lego world. -
Impressive songwm. That's a lot of mounted orcs. I can't wait for the Jurassic world sets so I can get some raptors and dilophosaurus. Maybe even an indoraptor if I can.

Aanchir I do think the dragon could work in a fantasy setting. It would actually work well in my lego castle world. I would love to get my hands on the bricktober figs but will have to see what happens with them. The new star wars set of snokes throne room has the new skirt piece in red for the praetorian gaurds could be very useful. And yes the Harry Potter sets have some excellent pieces available and the minifigs will be very useful especially that dementor. I can't wait for the thestral set to come out so I can use it for a mount for some of my demon warriors. -
Wonderful job. The rockwork is nicely detailed and the water looks nice and clean. The buildings are very detailed and have that elvish feel to them. The boat looks great. The minifig posing is well done also. All the colors go well together especially the red and white.

This is cool. I like the fig posing and the figs themselves are nicely detailed. The wall looks great too. Nice Job.

Really love this. The towers are great the white and grey look good, especially the tops of the towers with the grey are done very nicely. The towers are very clean looking too. The detailing on the bridge is fantastic. The base is great especially the landscaping. The water looks great too.

I would love to do either Dragonlance or Forgotten Realms. The characters are all really well developed. Especially a character like Drizzt from Forgotten Realms so many stories to choose from. Or a redo of the Dragonlance Chronicles the movie was ok but was rushed and not given the proper attention it deserves. The battle scenes alone would be incredible to do. Either TV or movies would be fine but would need a large budget to do correctly. That would be a dream job for me.

I'm having trouble with resizing my photos to fit on these forums can someone send me in the right direction. Any help would be appreciated thank you. I'm taking photos using an iphone 6s if that helps.

I think if people can get past the fact that Han is not being played by Harrison Ford which was never going to happen so I don't get all the whining about that. I'm going to give it a shot. I'm going to take my kids when it comes out. I want to see how he meets Chewie and how some other plot lines of the movie play out. I also didn't think The Last Jedi was that bad. Being a life long Star Wars fan I think it will be a fun film to watch. I haven't given up on Star Wars like some people have just because they don't agree with what Rian Johnson did with the Last Jedi.

Great job looks awesome. The rockwork is superb. The castle is great. The round towers are nicely done. The roofs look good too especially the ones on the round towers have that rough shingle look to them. The figs are great where did you get the Lannister helms from?

I'm just saying they are not lazy. I like alot of the infinity war sets too. I was commenting on your statement that the quality should be better because the movie made 1.3 billion which makes no sense because the merchandise is usually made from concept art and sometimes things get changed and the fact that the merchandise is out before the movie comes out. By that logic The Force Awakens merchandise should be off the charts.

Awesome job. I love all the houses, the landscaping is great. The river is nicely done. The only thing off to me is the wall isn't the wall around Bree all wood not stone?

Nice job. I like the texturing of the wall and the little accents of color.

what does the fact that black panther made 1.3 billion have to do with quality of the printing when these sets were in production way before the movie came out. Your logic here makes no sense. I think the Black panther sets are fine especially since we got a bunch of new molds for them. Yeah I wish the antman sets had leg printing but its not gonna sway me from buying the set. And the fact that wasps helmet isn't 100% accurate doesn't bother me. If you think they are being lazy that's your opinion but I really don't think they are being lazy just look at some of the amazing sets that are coming out this year HP the great hall, the roller coaster set for city, and some of the new Ninjago sets are fantastic. If you think they're being lazy your kidding yourself the decisions to include printed legs and new molds are coming from someone and 99% sure has to do with budget constraints or deadlines.

Sad to see you go. Hope you keep building though. That has always been the fun part for me building new structures, figs, landscapes, etc. I'm a total castle guy but i find a lot of useful parts and figs in other lines like Ninjago, Marvel, DC, Elves, Nexo Knights, and Star Wars. I love creating new figs out of all the different figs out there. I too hope they come out with castle soon. But i love building my own stuff especially with my kids. I hope you find something that keeps you building. Good luck on all your en-devours. Hope to see you back here soon.

Yeah I'm really loving all those new molds for Ninjagos new wave. The dragon hilt is so cool cant wait to get my hands on it. Even some of the villains armor and the other new swords from Ninjago will be very usefull. The dragon bone sword itself is very nice too. I'm hoping they do a wolf hilt too(great for game of thrones MOC's) and other ideas for it. That shield is fantastic also. I love customizing minifigs so all these parts are great. I hope lego keeps making new weapons and armor for a new castle theme when we get one. I think if they did what they have done so far with Ninjago and the Elves themes and apply some of the same thinking to a new castle theme it would be great and appeal to many people. A new castle theme with new plant molds, animal molds, new armor, new weapons, new factions both villains and good guys, even the same old dragon mold would be fine just in different colors than red and black, new colors for castle pieces and new building techniques could go a long way to giving castle the shot in the arm it needs to be more fresh and appeal to more people. Now is lego willing to go that far with it I don't know but I would love to see it. -
Nice little scene. I like the texturing of the walls and the figs are nicely done. The green plants in winter are a neat touch gives it a little more color.

Yeah I'm just saying overall a pretty good wave. And I think the outriders head could have been better also.

I would really like to know if all you people that are complaining of the prices of lego also find the prices to get into sporting events like baseball, football, basketball, etc crazy. Or find the price of food nowadays out of hand. And the fact that big oil companies basically have you know what to everyone for generations but we still do nothing about it. But back on point I think all these sets look great. Loving the dragons and new molds especially the weapons. Can't wait till these come out so many useful parts for my MOC's.

Get ya but I grew up with limited lego colors and very few variations on lego minifig heads and i made it work as a kid and on into my teen years. The amount of new molds and new colors and fig heads they make now is insane so I'm ok with what we get I mean the possibilities are endless and they keep getting better compared to when I was younger I made things work with limited parts, colors, and figs. I think we get a little to spoiled sometimes and expect to much. If lego was this advanced when I was a kid i would have shat myself. Being a kid now and into lego would be awesome. But maybe that's just me.
