Great job. The medium flesh with the dark grey goes nicely together. Also is the small part on the roof for housing birds? It kind of reminds me of building from busy cities especially give me a New York city vibe. The arches are nice and the multiple roof sections work well together. The cobblestone is clean and neat. Nice little scene.

Overwatch have an E-league now. So its pretty popular. Fortnite is popular I know you are trying to compare but I doubt lego will go for fortnite since they have Overwatch. I think Overwatch is better graphically. Fortnite will fade like pokeman go. But time will tell we will see if either Fortnite or Overwatch has the staying power of a WOW, Elder Scrolls, Call of Duty, Halo, Etc.

Crossing the desert - Kaliphlin sig-fig introduction
zoth33 replied to adde51's topic in Guilds of Historica
I agree with mccoyed on the fig. The sand is well done and i like the green and red plant. I just find it odd to have cobblestone in the desert. Everything else is pretty good. -
Love it. The landscaping is awesome especially the stream. The trees are great. The expression on the fig is priceless. Wonderful job.

The D'Gatto Family (Immediate) - Varlyrio GC1A+B

This is great. Excellent way to introduce the family with all the vignettes. They are all cleverly done and you conveyed each character in the vignette quite well. -
Nice little scene. I like the goats and the use of the ninjago hood for the shepard is great. I really like the roof technique on the house brings a more natural look to it. The landscaping is nicely done, the water really stands out. Great job.

Very cool build. I like the colors and the slanted roof. I also like the dark blue for the windows. The grass works well the way you have it simple and clean landscaping.

Well done. The buildings have nice texturing and nice roof techniques on all three. The bakers building with the sand green clashes to much with the orange/red roof for me. I do like the figures and the placement of them throughout the scene. Do any of the buildings have interiors?

Stowaways - The Lion's Eye Chapter 2 - Varlyrio GC2A

Nice MOC. I like the docks. The cut away buildings are neat so you can see the interiors and for playability. The buildings themselves have nice texture. The wooden part is well done and works well with the colors of the building. You also have quite the eclectic group of characters.- 20 replies

Nice little scene. I like your sigfig. Like others have said the loose tiles just don't look like they fit there but good start.

The building is neat. I like the arches and the touches of gold, the dome at the top is nice. I like the way the roof is done gives it layers to the building. Nice job.

Nice MOC. I like the front door. The colors work well together. I also like the use of the masonry bricks. The interior is nice and a agree with others that other hair pieces would provide better contrast and a more realistic view of a tannery.

I share some of your thoughts. I am a 40 year old man and found the Elves line very interesting. I'm into Fantasy Adventure things and this theme has filled some of the void left by no castle or LOTR based sets. I have some of the Dragons and find them very usable in my MOC's. I really liked all the colors and new parts this theme gave us. Especially the different plant pieces. And I found the Elves hairpieces very useful for my custom elves factions. It will be sad to see this theme go. I'm trying to find the Elvenstar treehouse the build looks interesting.

Nice little build. I like the base with the clumps of the vegetation. The olive tree is neat. The shack is done well also.

I always liked Mighty Mouse. Seemed like no one else did when I was younger.

This is fantastic. I love the docks especially the use of tan and brown. The market is nice. The tent buildings are neat. I like the towers but how do you get in them. The two bigger buildings are great. The one with the red roof reminds me of Roman architecture as do parts of the grey and red building. Nicely done.

Great hut. The roof is excellent love all the leaf pieces on the top. The texturing of the hut is great, gives it depth. The landscaping works well with the roof and ties it all together nicely.

Nice job. I like the courtyard floor. The buildings are nice with the cheese slope roofs. The landscaping and trees are done well.
-
Neat little building. I really like the top part especially the roof technique, the windows and the black and white color scheme. The base is pretty nice to. Good job.

Interesting landscaping, the colors break it up nicely. The fortress looks thick and heavy like a troll fortress should be. The texturing looks good with the trolls. I also like the gate. Nice job.

I finally got around to seeing John Wick 2. Its hard to watch those type of movies with my kids around. I liked the movie not as good as the first but still highly entertaining movie. The action scenes are great.

I actually like all the buildings. The weathered look you gave them is a nice touch. I like little details on each building, the windows, arches etc. The stone streets are nice. Very good little scene.

This is very impressive. I like your roof technique and the texturing of the build. The landscape is nicely done. I really like the big tree. Those gazebo like buildings in the water are fantastic. I can't wait to see what castle you will build.

I remember now since you said that. I just needed a jog to my memory. Haven't seen the shows in awhile. Every now and then I catch a rerun on tv.
