  1. yeah, it doesn't seem like a logical move, especially before christmas, who knows, maybe these sets didn't sell so well...anyway, I'm curious what they have planned for next year with the anniversary and all that...
  2. It's weird because I couldn't see the Slave-I or the Hoth set either, and the latter is definitely not being retired just yet, but I didn't see the retiring soon badge on the Slave-I either... And the RO line is not there either. And most of the filters are flickering so I am pretty sure it's a bug now...
  3. They are tilted, just check out this glorious screencap from sw.com: But I am not sure if they should move. I can't remember now how it is in Battlefront, that is pretty accurate since they modeled everything after the actual studio models. The ones in the Rebels set moved if I remember correctly, and it looks like these move too.
  4. Umm...is it just me, or is the Star Wars selection cut down in S@H at others too? I can't find half the sets now, and not the ones that are retiring soon, those are still there. Must be a bug, because if I search one way, there's only one UCS set listed and 22 total, but when I check from the SW-banner, there are more, but still not everything...
  5. not a very good way to start your run in a forum Anyway on the topic: these are so random I was reading it in the morning and literally just blinked for minutes :D Just kinda obvious that it's only a joke.
  6. really? I mean a system sized set - sure, why not. But this is far from being iconic or interesting enough to be financially viable as a UCS set...
  7. Since I had to spend some more money to get free shipping on Amazon (FML!!! :D), I ordered the Imperial Hovertank to go with the AT-ST, and of course, so Baze is not without his buddy :) 30EUR for a discount, it wan't a bad deal IMHO.
  8. I don't watch rebels, but this scene is outirght f%cked up. Really creepy with that full smile on the face of the rebel trooper....
  9. This doesn't look like anything TLG has released recently, and probably won't. Even with UCS pricing, they just won't go for it. I betcha
  10. Not that is just too much wishful thinking, I cannot imagine that they would release the whole pyramid :D (But to be fair to TLG, our expectations for a UCS playset are almost impossible to meet in a financially viable way. :))
  11. I personally don't mind the rehashed OT sets, since I am missing much of them (and the A-wing is actually quite quite an improvement on the last OT A-wing), but I can totally understand that people are frustrated who have bought the previous incarnations, since many of them was not so long ago (looking at you, landspeeder...I even have that too) I agree that a good TIE Interceptor would be very welcome for example, the last one was a decade ago. The Yavin base is interesting you see, I would be disappointed if they didn't release one next year, since it's also present in RO, and the 40th anniversary is coming too so...I just hope it's not going to be another UCS playset.
  12. Like I said, it's also at a crazy price in Swiss Francs, so it's not just brexit, if you calculate it, here it costs the equivalent of 47£ and some....
  13. Well I've just checked the prices in CHF, and the A-wing got me shocked....60 CHF for 358 pieces??? This is crazy. Even for Lego SW...
  14. Maybe it's my fault, honestly I have a hard time keeping up with these something-ish something Lego colors :D especially all these kinds of greys....
  15. Yeah you're right there, but this Lando was also in one set as I can see back in 2009, so for me that's fine. I'd like to hold on to the hope that they are keeping Bespin Lando for an incoming awesome Cloud City set....
  16. I think we can all agree that there is no perfect lego color for X-wings. The models we've seen so far are all weathered and filthy, hence the mostly grey and sooty color. Actually if you could "clean" an X-wing it would be closer to white than to any other grey lego color. Definitely not LBG. At least not for the main color. You can see some MOC-s here in mostly white with LBG accents, that might be the sweet spot. We just have to accept there's no way to replicate that weathered "eggshell" white color in lego atm. The T65-s that is. The T70-s, there you might be right with the LBG.
  17. A cloud city outfit wouldn't make much sense for him in an A-wing set...
  18. Aww yiss, A-wing! That is an instant buy for me, finally a set that I can be excited about. The landspeeder is a logical move, since the cantina set is retired now, but I managed to pick it up, so it's a pass. Looking at the new model, I'm not disappointed that I got the old one, there's not much difference. The minifigs are also only slightly updated as far as I see, but I don't understand why no R2...
  19. Aw man, no spoilers!!!!
  20. There are multiple listings even with screenshots in the earlier comments, it seems to be dependent on the market. You can check it out for yourself in the online shop.
  21. I'm right there with you on that, I don't like the T-70 legos either..with the Rogue One, I think there is at least a slim chance we might be getting one sometime soon, as I see the last normal-sized X-wing set came out in 2012. But because it's RO, probably not with classic pilots. Although the 40th anniversary is closing in, so I think even an OT one wouldn't be far-fetched.
  22. I ordered 75135 Obi Wan's interceptor, just to reach the free shipping limit next to my Yellow Submarine...just had to get someting SW too
  23. Wow. Just WOW. Why can't TLG treat us with absolutely manageable sets like this? The outside platform is out of place I think, but great job nevertheless!
  24. Most of these are already even out of stock, or in backorder in the Swiss store at least...looks like people are buying the retiring sets like crazy...
  25. Most of these "prequel" books, are not really spoilers for upcoming releases, but rather just providing sometimes much needed background information on the film's premise. I hope it's not the case this time around, but sometimes reading it is even needed to fully grasp the connections in the movie. I didn't buy this one, but as far as I've seen info on the story, it mostly revolves about how Galen got involved in the building of the DS, and his history with Krennic. BUT, as you can see in the opening post, if you are afraid of spoilers, this thread might not be for you once it takes off :)
