Well, the freemaker sets were bound to appear, they made up a new "star wars" series to sell their stuff. Hopefully if they don't get a good profit from the sets they will just cancel it, and as I can see most of us don't really care for this line, it's good to see. As for the other newly revealed sets, I'm not one for battlepacks normally, but the bounty hunters sounds interesting, and so does the EpII jedi fighter, I just hope it doesn't come with Obi again, since I just got this year's set (man that just screams for modding). But then again, if it's really from ep II, it must be Obi's..nevertheless, the ring is a welcome addition, just hope the price doesn't get too high. (Which, again, is being overly optimistic, seeing the prices of the already announced sets - at least in my country)

Fear not guys, there will be a discount, sometime, somwhere...and we will be there to strike down :D On the topic: it's a great job, apart from the middle section of the front, and the turrets, it's pretty much what TLG came up with.

Well, here it's around 87 CHF now, which is around 85$ US, but as I see the US price is even from lego 90$... here on the other hand, if I would want to purchase from S@H, it would be 120 CHF...so I guess with the same discount on the US price it's an instant get :D

Here we go with the color again :) It's acutally not black, rather dark grey. The Scarif DLC of Battefront has it, so I've ran around/on top of it a couple of hundred times in the last few days. I personally think it's not a very interesting design, it's a cargo container with 4 wings slapped on it, with no remarkable details, I would be disappointed if they took a spot in the summer lineup for this. But then again, I know for army builders these dull grey chunks are of use, so I guess many are agreed with you.

Why would you be amazed? We haven't seen a FO walker in action at all, only in the far backgrounds, and there's no guarantee we will in Ep8. The AT-ACT is a low-hanging fruit, I'm also pretty sure it's coming.

Even if IRL he seems to be the most amazing guy, he took this role of the scruffy looking nerf-herder a-hole for the media :) But yeah, that MF drop hurt much more than this...

Well it's the christmas period, and there is a new discount every day somewhere for LEGO. I've bought it a few weeks ago at TRU with 20% off, they had a general lego discount going on, then it was gone, and now it's 20% off again, just with a bigger purchase. Also Krennic's shuttle is discounted here in multiple retailers, which is great, because one of Santa's little helpers told me that's what I'm gonna get for Christmas

I think I mentioned in this thread, I've noticed some weird behaviour a few days ago, where half of the SW sets were gone from my shop, then they got back, and now the coming soon sets are indeed all vanished. But then again, this whole S@H website is a steaming pile of crap since the redesign at least, I couldn't even order from there, hat to go through the phone...

That I could even get behind. I could use some if I ever get around to build my Endor diorama for the Tydirium... the problem with that is it wouldn't play out well if they just released a bunch of ewoks with the very same painting an accessories like stormies.

Gungan BP, sure :D I hope that never happens...and they are so generally hated that I don't think TLG will ever release one. Honestly, I can't think of any way Gungans could be retconned to be cool. Or even bearable. I started watching CW, but keep giving up in the first season because of Jar-Jar....(and to be clear, I am already a Prequel-generation kid)

What do you mean equal to or greater? 30$ isn't equal to 30£. 30$ is barely 24£...so even if the numeric value is equal if that's what you mean, the US pricing is still cheaper.

I can definitely recommend the U-wing, great ship, great minifigs. The TIE is kind of basic..

Welcome! I'll cut right to the chase, here's what I've seen so far: some people use transparent elements to display, but that's not always the best if you want to pose them in a dynamic flying pose.. Others choose the "official" way (in that for example some UCS sets are also displayed this way), with a stand constructed from technic beams and diverse plates that hide the studs, this is a good option IMO, because you can play with the lengths if the beams, and it doesn't look LEGO. (In that you can make it in a way that no studs are visible.)

Yeah but then again, what else would he say? :D And apparently, he didn't see the whole movie, just the 28 minutes that was screened for journalists as well. The special effects were just finalized one of these days. Anywho, I've got my tickets for opening night for the midnight screening, no way I'm gonna suffer for almost a whole day, like I did with TFA
